wow, you guys are up early posting. Please be careful Laura posting Arial shots of your home & area. I was just watching Handeeman you tube channel (High Carb Hannah’s you tube channels husbands channel) and someone (a stranger) came to their house who watch their channel. He posted a video telling people NOT to come to his property (rightfully so). This to me is very scary. So please be careful. Thank you for this great video.
A landscaper once taught me that whenever you put a hedge or planting of repeating plants to always plant some extras on the property in case one of your hedge plants dies or doesn't do well you will have a spare the same age and size that you can replace it with! Looking forward to your next project!
Just when you think Aaron's videos can't get any better, they do!! Love the drone footage and the magic of things already planted while Laura is still working on the first or second planting. You've set the bar pretty high and we love it!!!
The drone shots are amazing and music fits perfectly! How do you do that? Can Aaron film some ,,behind the scenes'' so we can see where magic begins? Also, I appreciate how you give back to community, beautifying everything you can, so inspiring and sweet, thank you! 🥰 Awesome video, keep going! 🙂🙂💪
I do have to say Aaron the those dr one shots are amazing. You two are so talented in different ways but when you bring all of it together it's just perfect thanks again I get so many notifications during the day but I always pick it up to see if it's something from you lol I just like to leave old videos on just so I can hear you talking just makes me happy
Dun-dun-DUN...Cliffhanger!!! Ooh I love it! I can’t wait to see where those other arbs are going in your garden!! It’s so exciting to begin planting once again! Happy Spring planting everyone! 💚🌸
I love the Arborvitaes! I remember watching the video years ago when you planted them on your property. Now, whenever I see them in your videos, it's a great point of reference to the passing of time. I enjoy watching them grow and change and mature.
Laura & Aaron, your videos are almost like a favorite tv show for me! I wake up everyday eager to find your new video & watch y’all while I’m dressing for work. Or on the weekends while I’m mapping out the plans for the day. It’s like getting a post from old friends!! Thank you for starting my day & being such an inspiration for my home & gardens!! ❤️😁❤️😊
Lisa Oswalt I do the exact same thing! I almost never watch real TV anymore, I’d much rather spend my time gardening or learning and being inspired at the same time! 💚🌸
Hats off to Aaron love the filming and editing of the videos We can clearly see how much effort and time these kind of videos take I cannot wait to see where these plants go in your property !
I am seriously considering planting arborvitae this year after seeing how beautiful yours are! Thanks for the inspiration! Side note - I was so sad to hear the Boise Flower Show is postponed until next year! I had already gotten a room and was so excited to go to your meet & greet. Here’s hoping for something later this year!!

OMG!!...I am simply so so amazed by you and Aaron...the energy and focus of 2 minds!... You both just blow me away...74 holes, all dug by your Aaron... A lot of work is an understatement!... Bless you both... Tqtq so much for sharing...❤💖💝
Thank you for making all of these wonderful videos, and for continuing to post. I am stuck at home because the virus outbreak has shut my job down and these videos are the light of my day.
Can’t wait to see where these are going! Such a teaser! 😂 You guys are SO blessed to work with Proven Winners and get these plants for a steal! (Yes, I’m totally jealous)! Lol
Fantastic video! I just wanted to comment that deer absolutely LOVE arborvitae. Years ago, I planted an arborvitae hedge, and they looked like a lollipop hedge by the time the deer had come and gone. Live and learn in the world of gardening. 😊
We are farmers and power tools and large equipment are so helpful. It is still work to accomplish the planting even with power tools. Loved the tag at the end! Thanks for my Saturday morning power start.
Oh my gosh! Great drone shots, wonderful pace, and fantastic teaser at the end! Y’all are rocking! Thank you for the hard work that went into this phenomenal video.
Love the auger digging. I really want to plant a hedge along the front of my house because it’s a busy road and I do not like seeing my neighbors very untidy yard. That size isn’t reasonably priced so I’ll have to go smaller. Love the way you are always working together. That hedge will be beautiful at your church. Thanks
Wow! I bet his arms were tired. But looks like good practice for the other project that I can't wait to see. I'm going to the nurseries this weekend on the hunt for some hydrangeas and hibiscus.
Aaron did an amazing job video editing!! He needs to start his own you tube channel on video editing and the use of different equipment. He has some serious talent!
Oh wow. Well, teasers are not Fair! Lolol. You two are amazing young people. Love you both like I know you. Crazy. And Aaron, you are a work horse. Good for you to embrace this journey with your wife. You two are truly a blessing to many. 💕👏🏻💕

Aaron that was amazing footage love the landscape from below with the drone y'all guys are amazing team Laura you have so much spunk you are an amazing young woman with lots of energy and you do amazing gardening love your channel your videos are amazing Aaron is doing amazing footage/editing.
What a lovely way to give back to one's church. Looking forward to watching these grow and to seeing how the plants you put in last year look this Spring. Can't wait to see where you put the Arbs on your place! Nice drone footage. Take care to protect your location. ~ Lisa
You’re killing me with the suspense. Ever since the barn organization video you dropped a hint about what to do with the hanging baskets. Tell us woman! I can’t take it any longer. 🤣🥰
This was awesome! And Your suggestions of tools are awesome also. I bought a battery operated pole saw that fit 20v lithium batteries I already had - Today my husband said this was the best thing! I spent $89 on a Black and Decker. Really helps to have the right tools!!
This is modern tree planting, that auger was a real God send for a church project. Your video work was well done and what an excellent team effort, nice promo for those trees.
Wow what a fun video for coffee with Laura and Aaron. Hopefully Aaron's back didn't hurt too much the day after you planted these as that was a lot of bending over with that drill. You guys are such a great team and seeing you sharing your talent with others is so nice. Great editing on the video as well Aaron and the teaser at the end was fun Laura and of course now we can't wait to see where you plant the arborvitaes in your garden!!!!!
Looking forward to the project you’re gonna do on your property with the Arbs.....I remember when y’all first did the arbs on your property and I’ve been blessed to see them grow these past couple of years (they look amazing) so can’t wait to see where you place these 🤩🤩🤩🤩
What a wonderful job and all of the Church gardens are such an improvement for the whole neighborhood!! Adding trees and plants and all of the Good Things that they do for everyone!!
It's amazing Laura that you bought the property next to yours.. ii cant wait to see the progress and more things going on with all of your ideas to share with us. Congratulations with another property and blessings..
After much back pain, we decided it was time to get one of those power planters! We haven’t tried it yet, but I’m pretty sure digging holes for my new plants will be a breeze this weekend! Laura, thank you so much for sharing this video!
I wish I had your ground. So blessed with that. I live in MO its all rock and I need to pay someone to use a pick to break up the rock to plant anything. Its gery tough gardening here
That cliffhanger had me hanged! So excited! Question: any suggestion that looks like and acts like North Pole Arbs that can take and perform well in warmer places, maybe zone 8-9?
Tammy H no Leyland Cypress if wind blown look terrible on one side and will be beautiful on the other we have them her in Fl and are so ugly especially with hurricane season comes.
Hi Laura and Aaron! That hedge looks really good! What a lot of work. The auger worked great for this project. I'm sure Aaron's dad, and the congregation, will appreciate having the hedge to look at. Even though it's small right now, it draws your eyes away from the background. Excited to see where you plant yours. The drone shots and editing were fantastic! Thank you for sharing!
It is so satisfying to plant an arborvitae hedge! Wish I would have had n auger to use when I planted mine at my old house. Cardinals love hanging out in older hedges. Just imagine how much wildlife will nest there in the upcoming years as the trees grow.
Love to see it!!! How do you start from scratch making a layout/plan for a home garden? My husband and I just purchased arborvitaes for our own backyard because of your hedge as inspiration! We are first time home owners, and now dabbling in gardening!! Where is the best place to start when making a plan for our backyard?
Hey Sarah, I saw this question answered in the summary video and thought you might be interested in a series of videos that another channel has been doing on exactly this. The channel is Y Garden (her name is Yulia) and it's here: th-cam.com/users/busygardenervideos She actually works full time as a landscape architect, so her advice is excellent on this subject. I'm pretty sure Laura and Yulia know each other, or know of each other, anyway. These are my two favourite gardening channels (although I like the impatient gardener a lot too). Hope that helps.
Gary Lythe wow thank you so much!!! This is so helpful. I really appreciate you taking the time to come back to this video to let me know! One of the many reasons the gardening community has quickly become my favorite on the internet!
@@sarahpreston6497 You're welcome. :) If you look back a little bit on the Y Garden channel's videos, there is one where she recommends books too. I found that helpful and actually bought a couple that she mentioned and wasn't disappointed.
I had to chuckle when I saw Aaron using the drill, it went in so nice with no resistance! I live in Maine, that drill would have hit rocks every time. There is no such thing as rock-free soil where I live. lol. I love your creative photography, it just gets better and better.
OMGosh, Laura and Aaron! We feel your pain! Our property was once the local skating rink... with a horse barn. (IKR?!) When we bought the property, we just thought that landscaping wasn't the previous owner's cup of tea as it was a blank slate. Oh, no!!! Everywhere we try to plant, we pull up rebar, asphalt, concrete, and roller skate wheels!!! Keep on planting! We think your hedge will be beautiful!!!
You guys are the real peas and carrots 😊. Aaron...I always enjoy your drone shots, I actually look forward to seeing them🤩🤩🤓🤓 Now for my guess about the cliffhanger, I am thinking you guys are expanding your beautiful property and adding another amazing private green wall, oh well just a guess, but what I do KNOW from my daily Garden Answer channel viewing...whatever it is it’s going to be spectacular and most enjoyable to watch because it always is 🤩🤩🤩. Thanks for sharing.
You two are amazing, alot of hard work but the end result is beautiful. If they turn out as beautiful as your arborvitaes they will be amazing. Now that teaser at the end really has me wondering where are they going to put them and I keep thinking about all the roses you had in the greenhouse too. I can't wait to see what you have planned, so exciting Laura.
This planting is going to make such an impact as it fills in! Be sure to give updates on the growth of this hedge :) Thanks for your videos and inspiration
Fabulous, Laura. And I'd love to see these through the years, see how they progress. It's been so great to see yours grow. And I can't wait to see where you put the ones on your property, wow! Oh, also I LOVED seeing you guys drive through the farmland. Such a different landscape from where I am (Connecticut). Beautiful, those big flat squares of earth.
Wow! This is just getting better and better.. “Keeping up with Laura &Aaron”.YES!!!! Just what this world needs.... please keep them coming. Xoxo ☀️💖🌸😊🌲🌳🌿🦋🐞🐝🐛. I have tons of work to do on my garden but I have to see your videos first before I work on mine😩, can’t wait till later to watch it. 🤷🏻♀️
Nice work! Quick tip: Cut 2 pieces of wood - one measuring the distance between the plants - one measuring the distance (inward) from the pavement. Saves getting that tape measure in and out for each shrub.
Great camera work and editing! Someone planted a beautiful arborvertae at my house before I bought it. It was very small when planted but by the time I moved in it was about 6ft tall and easily 4ft wide... and it sat in a very small bricked in bed up against my house. With its potential to ruin the foundation and get tall enough to touch my eaves we made the decision to cut it down. We had a landscaper out that said he really didn't think there was any way for him to dig out the root ball because of how small the bed was around it... he said the roots must have gone way further down into the ground. The bed had walls but no bottom, just the ground. It really was gorgeous and I could trim it and use its trimmings for arrangements.
We did this exact same thing for our green giant arborvitae hedge we put in a few years ago. We purchased a cheap harbor freight auger to make the job easier and it went really quickly with only 26 trees. Definitely worth the price of the auger.
Your videos are so much fun to watch! I’m so proud of you both and you have learned and gotten better over the years. I’ve always enjoyed your videos but the special effects we get to see as of late are a lot of fun! The slow motion shot of you chunking fertilizer in the hole made me giggle! Thanks for that Aaron!
Oh Laura I just know you’ve bought more land and I can’t wait to see all that you do with it! An orchard, your cut flower area - I knew you couldn’t sacrifice any of the space you planted already and absolutely knew you weren’t going to use the vegetable garden for cut flowers. So exciting! Can’t wait! It’ll keep us all entertained while we’re stuck at home twiddling our thumbs.
When I started watching the video, I wanted to comment on how jealous I am of the wide, trafficless streets your town has (I live in a city of 6 million, in a country of total population of 11 million, you cannot even imagine what our narrow streets from the 1900's look like, most of the time!!) and of how not so jealous I was of your town being so sparse of trees and greenery and then... *boom* : you unloaded all of these trees!!!!!!! Wow, that will be beautiful, what an excellent project, your community is so lucky!! 😊 Arbovitaes are stunning trees, but I think they suffer in most areas in Greece, so I would never plant one... Have a wonderful weekend!! 💜
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that Aaron was able to drill all 74 holes and the drill went through 1 and a half batteries! Not bad! 💪

Great way to enhance your church and the community area 👍
I really like the evolution in the editing style. Great job Aaron!
This video is a work of art! Loooove those drone shots, the time leaps, the slow motion, just all of it! Bravo Aaron! 🎥👨💻🧑🎨
Your church is so fortunate to have you in their congregation!
Can’t wait! It’ll keep us all entertained while we’re stuck at home twiddling our thumbs.
love this feel when I'm planting 3:53
Just cannot wait to see what is to come! Great job at the church!
oh it was lovely to see it from the air, your hard work paid off
When I started watching the video, I wanted to comment on how jealous I am of the wide, trafficless streets your town has (I live in a city of 6 million, in a country of total population of 11 million, you cannot even imagine what our narrow streets from the 1900's look like, most of the time!!) and of how not so jealous I was of your town being so sparse of trees and greenery and then... *boom* : you unloaded all of these trees!!!!!!! Wow, that will be beautiful, what an excellent project, your community is so lucky!! 😊
Arbovitaes are stunning trees, but I think they suffer in most areas in Greece, so I would never plant one...
Have a wonderful weekend!! 💜
FANTASTIC VIDEOGRAPHY! Just wonderful how your channel is developing. Best thing on any tv anywhere. 🌿🌺🐅
