A tip to make more rpm and power. Cut and make an almost straight exhaust pipe from cylinder to muffler. delete the S shape exhaust. but only if you have bigger intake, carb and cylinder. it will make 2000-2500 more rpm.

Hi ALL, I've been to Thailand a few times and was soo impressed with the SKILLS the people had, I watched 1 guy with just a handful of basic tools a gas bottle & torch make the most beautiful glass sculptures I've ever seen and for this guy to be doing it at side of road was just amazing, Now just think if we WESTONERS were just left alone without the EU and all the government telling us what we CAN & CANNOT DO imagine what type of inventions we'd come up with, Brits first jet engine first vertical lift fighter jet list is endless but the EU and OUR OWNED GOVERNMENT STEPS IN OH YOU NEED PERMITS oh fack orf BUNGLING BORIS .
The arrow om top of the piston should face towards the exhaust port,so you drilled the holes on the wrong side because the piston should be rotaded 180°. Otherwise great work
@@JohnnyLee8355 its for letting in fuel earlier in the crankhouse,many pistons have it from factory but i guessing this is some sort of universal Piston.
@@JohnnyLee8355 Stock piston have those holes. I cut the middle part when added bigger intake and carb, that worked for me. My concern are piston is place wrong. arrow on it is for a reson.
This is the second time I've watch a 2 stroke rebuild and the arrow on the piston is NOT pointing towards the exhaust port. Therefore the ring pins are in the wrong position and rings could snag the ports.
When you polish the motor, aren't you supposed to do it with a low rotation angle grinder? I mean, you don't polish stuff with 12000 rpm. Maybe i am wrong..
You have fitted the piston in wrong direction. The arrow marked on piston should face towards the exhaust silencer (not towards the reed valve/carburetor side).

Yup youre right. Polishing is supposed do be done using low rpms around 2000-3000 rpm

It's a two stroke. They are for the intake port.
