Think about this lionel makes thousands of these types of cars a year and the workers take there time on each car making shore every detail is good they even test run them now that is what I call quality product.
Lionel should be and needs to be doing this constantly and aggressively to show the public what they produce, but on a MUCH more professional level. Good marketing means so much to an audience, and with some serious production and current videos marketing what they do and how they do it, some younger people may be encouraged to participate. The old grainy footage of the “Beaver” household with button shirt and tie dads just doesn’t cut it anymore and continues to offer today’s youth a clear picture of irrelevance. I just can’t emphasize this enough. Thanks TW for a little insight.
So Lionel is down to like 2 guys now? that's sad, Oh well,, that's the old story of supply and demand and cheep Chinese labor and now affordable personal 3d printers.
Ever watched How It's Made? They don't have a ton of employees randomly in the background as it's distracting. No they don't have a 30,000 Sq/ft facility with 3 people.
WOW! Nice to see UV printing instead of pad-printing (like most companies do). Nice!
I love how the painter carefully blows off any dust from the boxcar...right onto the ones he's already cleaned.
This video is very neat. It is very interesting to see the cars made. Thank you for sharing. Thumbs up.
