Hope you gonna answer my question, how you update the covid-19 cases automatically. For instance, you uploaded these cases for today, but my manager asked to do updates everyday how can I do something to do the update for the cases as of today automatically. Hope you got my point. Thanks in advance. I really need that. 👏👏👏
Good question! There is an experimental plugin in QGIS called 'Hotspot Analysis' (you need to go to the plugin settings and set it to 'also allow experimental plugins'). It takes a bit of setting up as there are some pre-requisites to install manually, but it provides several methods for calculating statistically significant hotspots, such as Local Getis-Ord Gi*. The spacing of countries is too great to create global hotspots, but it seems to work if you just select Eurasia for example. I can't vouch for how robust the stats are, but I'll try to post a video on the plugin soon.
@@AMDGS I've installed the Hotspot Analysis plug-in but I've have gotten stuck down a rabbit hole where each time I try to run it the error box says that it requires another plug-in to work which requires another and another. A video would be greatly appreciated!
It took me a little while to get it working as well when I first installed it! I'll try to have a look in the next day or two and put a video together if I can remember what I did 😅
