Moments like this one are my part of having my son. Instead of dwelling on what I didn't get from my dad as a kid , I do my best to make sure my son can be a better dad than me with his kids some day.

When I was ten I worked my ass off for the shittiest bike ever, broke the first time I rode it. took it to my grandfather and he taught me how to fix it. To this day I still own that bike and she still runs like a top.

They suck. I have one. They all over CL for sale now, and I see them for sale at Walmart and with a big sign that says all sales final. Good indication that lots people thought they were A pos. But my kids do enjoy it just too many Chinese parts on him

That's normal, because those tires are meant for off-road, not street pavement.

looks much better with the fenders taken off in my opinion, that’s what i did with mine, as well as a few other things to upgrade it. with everything i’ve done to mine it goes 40mph

I wonder if u can tk off the back sporoket for a smallwr one to mk it faster. I dont use it to climb hills. So i wont need the hill climbing kit. Do u know a size that fits and ill hv to adhust the chain to.

Try a 60 tooth or 50 tooth or 38 tooth
Put anything smaller than a 60 tooth and you'll be using your legs just to get it moving. 50 or 38 is just plain stupid.

I got the Coleman cc100x and it came with only the steering wheel and the front wheel un attached already
I also got one, bought it for my son. I rather the Colman 100x instead of the 100 in the video.

87 or higher and I've seen people use 10w 30 or they'll use 10w40.
CT100 is much bigger than I imagined
How big would you say it is, whats ur height and how comfortable is it sitting on?
For the price i think its a win for me.
What kind of oil and gas do you recommend?
I use 89 octane Ethanol free gas and I just use Valvoline Conventional motor oil. I think 10w30 is what is recommended in the manual. Many use synthetic oil.
Do you like the Coleman or the Monster Moto better? If you could only buy one..what would you pick?
I now own both of these mini bikes..And the Coleman.. Is better in everyway.. Kind of funny..Mega Moto is no longer in business!!! Hummm
The ct100u will go about 34 if you back out the throttle limit screw

Yes there is a screw you can adjust down on the card that will limit the throttle
You should get a header and remove the govener

Will this push my adult fat weight of 185 lbs. at a reasonable speed? I work next to a cornerstone that's 1/2 mile away and i'm looking for a fun way to get there. I live in a rural area to it shouldn't be a problem.
It handles mine fine at 165ish but you really should invest $100 more and get the MM-B105. It will handle you better than the CT100U or the MM-80
I'd go with the Coleman bt200x. Just a way better package for not much more. This will do it but the suspension the bigger ones come with is a game changer if your going off pavement. These small ones have decent low end torque though for putting up trails.
I went with a motovox mbx10 and put in a predator 212cc. Much better fit for an adult. Adjustable handlebars. The engine swap is easy and if you take out the governor gear it will make your commute way faster.

The chain was a little loose and tapping the metal chain guard
I cant figure out how to pull the spark plug. Seem as if there is not enough space for the socket to fit around the bottom. Any advice?

It was full throttle. Goes like 20-23 depending on rider weight
Remember it's a small engine. You can only do so much without forking out big bucks.

Also the bigger tires are for going off road better for dirt and its no a dirt bike that's why the style and general width of the tire is different
Put a predator 212 on that ct100 and you will have a powerhouse ! That's what we did.I have the ct100 with a 212 and a ct200u with a 212 and TAV30 (cvt transmission).Great project bikes ! I mean you could buy a Honda for a bunch of money or you can buy cheap chinese minibikes like these and Ebay mod them till they go 100mph ! lol, good fun!
