12*. You turn 13 in 7th grade, turn 14 in 8th when you graduate middle school.
I played in the national AAU championship tournament in 6th and 7th grade. Demar was on Lil’ Romeos and Master P’s team. They made it all the way to the championship game because of how insane Demar was. I remember thinking it was insane how every single team had at least 1-2 kids who could dunk at like 11-13 years old. I think we ended up like 24th out of like 75 teams. I barely played on that team.

I tell people this ALLL the time. I was a Freshman playing at Compton but Demar was in the 6th grade…before I moved back to ATL…but Demar always ran games with us. When I would visit LA in the summers after moving I would find where Demar playing at. I followed him til he hit the league. He rolls with a solid set of dudes who definitely bout that. And he definitely about that too. I done seen him lay someone out. I tell folks he the one in the league that most with it but EVERYONE know not to even try it. He know some official folks
