  • The video contains a discussion of the Dead Loads based on NSCP 2015 and how to use the NSCP Tables 204-1 and Table 204-2 to solve dead load problems.
    Example Problem 1:
The T-beam is made from concrete. Determine the dead load in kN per meter length of beam.
    Example Problem 2:
The floor of a light storage warehouse is made of 150-mm-thick lightweight plain concrete. If the floor is a slab having a length of 7 m and width of 3 m, determine the resultant force, in kN, caused by the dead load.
    Example Problem 3:
The floor beam in the figure is used to support the 2-m width of a lightweight plain concrete slab having a thickness of 100 mm. The slab serves as a portion of the ceiling for the floor below, and therefore its bottom is coated with plaster. Furthermore, a 2.45-m high, 300-mm thick lightweight solid concrete block wall is directly over the top flange of the beam. Determine the loading of the beam measured kN per meter of length of the beam.

good morning Sir mars, Pwede po ba makuha ang reference book sa mga sample problems po?
