This lady has taken me to Walmart , the Dollar Store , the Library, Furniture store , to Kmart , the Antique shop , the Goodwill, Mary's attic , to Target, to Aldi , to Joanns, on field trips, to the bakery , to CVS , Graveyards , her basement , Consignment shops, to Kmart , a Haunted house , her Bedroom , the closet , to Michael's and Biscuitville for breakfast !! Without ever having to leave the comfort of MY own HOME ... I have thoroughly enjoyed the scenery ... 😇 MORE please 🙏 Thank You

Turns out I actually prefer the voiceover! So quiet and peaceful.
I’m 66, I know what that odd bottle top is lol. It’s a top with sprinkle openings, used for dampening clothes to get them ready to iron. When I was little, before there were steam irons, my mom used to place it on a glass soda bottle filled with water, sprinkle each item of clothing, then roll them up & let them get a bit a damp for a couple of hours, then iron them. That brought back some old memories!

My grandma used to have a booth, sometimes several, at an antique store and I used to go spend the day with her while she worked the front desk and I have so many fun memories of those days. There was an old man named Charlie that took us around the corner to an old fashioned drug store that had milkshakes and he bought them for me and my sister. One guy always brought donuts for everyone and I would sneak extra but looking back, they knew and didn’t care. It was a really large two-story store with a cool layout so I used to wander around and look at everything and be fascinated. My grandma would always be able to get me discounts on anything because she knew the people running the booths and if I liked toys or things from her booth she would usually just give them to me. She was very generous. For lunch we’d go down the street to Taco Bell and that was always a favorite of mine so I would be so excited about that. Those days were so much fun.
Sorry for the rambling comment. She passed away recently and I really miss her. This video brought back a lot of memories.

That bottle with the cap that has holes is used for ironing. You can sprinkle water from the bottle on to your clothes to steam out the wrinkles. Thanks for everything!

I watched this last night & had to come back & rewatch so I can actually try & make it at least halfway through the video!! Anytime I go thrifting now, I envision the commentary you might give.
The bottle with the stopper that had the holes--it was used to dampen the laundry you needed to iron. Fill the bottle, sprinkle the clothes and roll them up in the plastic, zippered laundry bag to keep them damp. Iron before they mildew!!

I appreciate the voiceover! I love walkthroughs andalthough I do love hearing the sounds of the items I’m very easily distracted by the background noises in some of the walkthroughs, it gives me anxiety! 😅 We don’t really have loud music in stores in Iceland, nor these announcements from store staff, thankfully!
