In today's episode, I'm sharing the Before and After of my vintage booth setup at Tiny Brambles, a vintage shop in Downtown Portland, Oregon. Love the items you chose for your booth. Here's a pro tip from my experience in being a booth vendor since 1998. End caps on either side of your space or a long one on one side. I find customers always want to come in to browse and shop. Sometimes I use back to back bookshelves. In one booth I have old windows hinged together. I place them about 20 inches from the front of my space. I am able to feature new pieces on both sides. Your pottery collection will really attract attention. Congratulations on becoming a booth vendor. I am new to your channel and have enjoyed watching your past posts.
Thank you so much for your tips! Agree, I probably should get some front facing shelves. I'm so excited to see how the space evolves over time. Thanks so much for watching my videos!
The booth looks great! Good luck to you in your new endeavors!
Thanks so much!
Because of your marketing expertise your channel is invaluable! Leaning learning learning!! THANK YOU
Thank you!! I’m planning more marketing videos. ❤️
Very Nice...love all the pottery. You have so many great pieces!
Thank you so much!
Your booth and vintage selection is beautiful Andi and you are one of my favorite thrifting TH-camrs. Wishing you a wonderful adventure with your business.
Thank you so much for watching my channel and for the lovely comments.
Can we talk about those sunglasses - they are fabulous.
I bought them at a grocery store of all places - but they are also available on Amazon. I link to them in my Amazon storefront. They are very affordable and come in lots of colors.
I love how you styled the table
Thank you! :)
I'm SOOO excited for you! Fun things happening in your world! Looking forward to your TH-cam videos for booth vendors and PLEASE continue to make videos for Etsy sellers! Your videos are a wealth of information and I've learned so much from watching! ♥
Thank you!! Yes I plan to focus on both Etsy and booth tips. Etsy is still very much apart of my business. ❤️❤️❤️
@@AllPutTogether Wonderful! Thank you, Andi!
I wish the antique mall where I have a space was that nice looking. Such an inviting place to shop. My town is very limited on antique mall options.
We are blessed with a lot of very nice antique malls and vintage shops in Portland. The reselling community is HUGE here which makes it hard to source... ;)
Your booth looks absolutely amazing! It would definitely draw me in to take a look, and then of course to buy some wonderful item😀. It’s obvious that you have put in a lot of effort. Great job!
Thank you so much! It's a dream come true!
Andi, it’s beautiful!
Thank you!!!! :)
You are an inspiration Andi! I want to do what you are doing. I am just waiting for booth space near me to become available. Best of luck to you with your new space!
It can be hard to get a booth space around here too! I hope you get one soon!
Absolutely FABULOUS - I'm putting this shop on my list of must-sees. THANK YOU
Yes, please do!! Thanks!!
Congratulations 🍾!!! I’m so happy for you! The booth looks great and you have inspired me to do some more research in my area! I so wish we had such a cool space like this one in our area of the Central Coast of California.
Thank you! We are very blessed in Portland to have lots of great shops/malls. I hope you find a nice place in your area is availability!

Thank you! Yes, I'm envisioning lots and lots of sales! :)
WOW, I am blown away at all the AMAZING things you have and how much work you've been doing. Been watching your hauls but it is whole lot different to look at them all in one setting. You are a total force to be reckoned with!
Aww thank you for your sweet comments. It has been a labor of love - but totally worth it!
So happy for you Andi!! You must come up north and pick with me soon.
Yes, would love that! I hope to venture up that way this summer - maybe timed for the next Thriftapalooza!

Fantastic really great work it all looks amazing xx all the very best for a successful career xx
Great job! It looks "all put together".
Haha indeed!! ;)
Fantastic!
Could you do a price with me video. Maybe how you would price items for a flea market, for Etsy and for the booth. A step by step process of checking comps, solds and the reasoning behind how you come up with your prices. I know it also depends on COGS, and area. I love all your videos. Congrats on the booth.
I talk a little about my pricing strategy in a blog video but it def could be expanded on. I’ll add it to my list!
Looks great Andi.... Congratulations and many happy sales to you too :)
Thank you so much!! :)
Congratulations! 🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Love the booth great job !!
Thank you!!
Stickers and wax pencil! Bane of my existence! Best of luck on the booth space! I have a question, I found an awesome tiger bamboo side table. Is it stupid to list something so big on Etsy? I don't know how I'd ship it.
Definitely want to hear the answer to this! I have two and I am stuck on what to do…
I sell side tables on Etsy and you can usually charge quite a bit. Shipping them is more involved, but doable. You may have to build a box and use UPS or FedEx instead of USPS to ship.
For stickers I use heat to help remove them, like a hair dryer. I don't come across wax pencil marks very often at the stores here.
@@AllPutTogether can we purchase the labels through Etsy for UPS or FedEx? Nothing I have shipped so far had to use them. Thanks as always!
It’s beautiful
Thank you!!! 🥰
New subbie. Great boo❤th!
Thanks for subbing! ;)
i have a question .......how many items should i have in my Etsy store , like what's a good number ?
It really depends on your following. I think if have a social media following you can get away with less listings because you are driving so much of your own traffic. But if you don’t have a big following, I think no less than 100. But they need to be quality listings. Not just throw anything up listings.
I’m so proud and happy for you ❤ xoxo how did you do at the market? It looks GORGEOUS ! I’ve been in heart break mode leaning on my spiritual side Jesus and the Virgin Mary. I use to pray in the am and pm. Now it’s all day long. If you would like to add my posh shop to your card let me know and I’ll send you the link. Love your marketing material. I will be in Portland not sure when. Is your shop near KNIGHT ? That’s where stem cell transplant will take place. We will need to be there a month. I bet it feels great to get all that stuff out of the house too 🎉🎉🎉your my heavenly sent sunshine
Thank you!! I've been thinking of you and hoping you're both managing ok. I'm sorry you have to travel so far for treatment but grateful you will be getting the best care. The shop is downtown (SW 9th and Morrison). Big hugs and prayers!
Thank you deeply for your kind words and support during this challenging time. We are incredibly fortunate to have access to some of the best doctors in their field, whose expertise and experience bring us great comfort and hope. While the prospect of traveling to Portland may seem daunting, we take solace in knowing that it is one of the best places for treating his specific type of cancer.
Your prayers mean the world to us, and I promise to keep you informed before we embark on this journey. May you be blessed abundantly for your compassion and kindness.
It warms my heart to hear that our medical team recognizes his brilliance, including his groundbreaking work in picture and video messaging on cellular phones. I mentioned of having a friend in Portland ….and it brought him joy, further reinforcing the strength of your support. YOUUUUU ARE THE BESY ❤️🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️
are you ever worried that people will be like wow you bought that for $2 and now you’re selling it to me for $36??
I’m a vintage reseller and I pay up for things from other resellers because I recognize the efforts they went to find it, clean it etc. Selling online and in-person has a real overhead cost people need to account for. That’s how business works. If I want to go do the research and find it myself I will, but I know when it’s worth it to get it because time and resources are $$$.
@@portlandrevibe1028I agree completely! I'm a reseller as well. I don't work Fridays so I can get up early and go treasure picking. I put in many hours sourcing, cleaning, packing and hauling things around. I spend money on supplies too. That all goes into the price. I recognize that in the prices of my fellow vendors. There's a difference in junking and going to a vintage market or antique store. You're paying for someone to do all of the work for you and are looking at a curated collection.
@@portlandrevibe1028 yes i understand that but some people who are vintage lovers don’t know anything about reselling. just wondering how important it is to convey that to people
I love vintage and I can pay any amount the vendor wants! However, I would prefer not to know how much the original cost was, as I want to believe I’m searching for deals. I don’t want my excitement to be ruined.😂
That’s how ALL products are. Even Target & Walmart mark up their products. People are very naïve if they think they’re paying real value of things. The value of something is based on how much it cost to make, how much it was to buy wholesale, how much other people are reselling the same things for, what type of market you live/shop in, how hard was it to find and clean and market, etc. Pretty much everything you buy in this world is marked up between three times and 10 times the original price.
Keep giving $ to these people. Deleting these people.
