A bit of both. So, the control tower is an Airfix kit. On the original I had a scratch built cardboard nissun hut that I replaced as part of the restoration with a 3D printed one 😀👍🏻
I commend you on a very fine collection. I worry about my unmade stash up in my loft given the drastic temperature fluctuations so there's no way that I'd put my built kits up there.
Very impressive. I have about 650 made plus another 150 odd in the stash. Do like how you have displayed yours. My attic has a small window, makes the world of difference to lighting.
I'll be reviewing all three and building all three hopefully very soon. I'm currently working on a series of D-Day themed dioramas in time for the 80th Anniversary but then they're next on the list! 😀👍
Very common question. Same as you would with any other room. I'm up there a lot. The top shelves that I refer to as 'lids' in the video help to keep the dust from settling on them. I will also use an airbrush with no paint in it. I've found that works really well.
That one is coming! I was planning on building up to it Gotha, 0/400 and then the Staaken but fell at the first hurdle with the Gotha haha. I had trouble with the decals and then lost all mojo with it!
Ooo great shout! I had to park the build because of the D-Day anniversary build plans but I could easily to the kit review 😁👍🏻I'll give you a shout on here when I do.
Very cool collection
@@m0rce1 thanks so much 😁
Insane!! This room exudes passion on every shelf!😍😍👍👍
Thanks so much Phil 😁👍🏻
Excellent work and a work ethic that is hard to match.👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀👍
I think a dinosaur diorama would be great. Great man cave by the way.
Thanks so much!
Very nice mate. My bedroom is the same. And my wife goes mad she says i a bloody kid again lol😊
😂😂 that’s bloody funny
😂
I love it! Very nice. Thank you. And one more thing. Paint the dinosaurs!
Haha thanks so much! That seems to be the general consensus at the moment 🦖🦕
Bloody hell. That is insane!
On the dinosaurs I'd say, yeah go for it that could be cool.
For the kit reviews, could you do Eduards 109F set? Thanks
Ah perfect. I've already done a review for them so, your wish is my command: th-cam.com/video/03IP9xkG4yA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8DCcz0iVxeCTjICQ
In your "Masters Of The Air" diorama, are the buildings scratch-built, or from a kit?
A bit of both. So, the control tower is an Airfix kit. On the original I had a scratch built cardboard nissun hut that I replaced as part of the restoration with a 3D printed one 😀👍🏻
Well done has given me some ideas on how to display my TU 95 and Mig 15
Glad it was helpful!
I commend you on a very fine collection. I worry about my unmade stash up in my loft given the drastic temperature fluctuations so there's no way that I'd put my built kits up there.
Thank you. It's not ideal but I don't have many other options. I offered my collection to IWM Duxford last year and they turned it down.
Very impressive. I have about 650 made plus another 150 odd in the stash. Do like how you have displayed yours. My attic has a small window, makes the world of difference to lighting.
Yeah I'm slowly hoping to convert the attic. Solar Panels and a couple of sky lights are definitely on the cards!
Magnificent. If poss please, build reviews of: Apollo 11 lunar landing; Mil 26 Halo (as a civilian version!) and Concord.

If the triceratops is 5" long it's close to 1/72 scale. It's great to see your room. Good stuff
It is about that yeah. I did wonder if they were close to 1/72.
Glorious! But one question: How do you deal with dust on so many models?
Very common question. Same as you would with any other room. I'm up there a lot. The top shelves that I refer to as 'lids' in the video help to keep the dust from settling on them. I will also use an airbrush with no paint in it. I've found that works really well.
Definitely like a build of the Zeppelin staaken
That one is coming! I was planning on building up to it Gotha, 0/400 and then the Staaken but fell at the first hurdle with the Gotha haha. I had trouble with the decals and then lost all mojo with it!
Cool ✈
Dinos are special collectibles. Dont paint them! That Lambeosaurus is very rare and about 150Usd on auction sites. They are 1/43 scale i think
Oh really? I might have to do a bit of research before actioning anything. Thanks for the tip 😀👍
As the designated girlfriend, I approve of the effective use of the attic space☺️
👍👍
Wow great space to display your models! How did you get your wife so far 😅
Thank you! Haha my partner is very supportive. She has a son so it was something we could bond over. 🙂👍🏻
Review for the sunderland mk. III
Great shout. I had a look at that one while I was up there and I really want to build it soon!
Make the Wyvern!
Yes Dino dio
That seems to be the overall consensus!
I did a dinosoar diarama but you could do one better, go for it.
That seems to be the general consensus at the moment 😀
Airfix 1 72 concorde 😊
Ooo great shout! I had to park the build because of the D-Day anniversary build plans but I could easily to the kit review 😁👍🏻I'll give you a shout on here when I do.
