- Scale model build of the AMT 1/32 Tie Fighter. This build is here to help with some tips to help you along building this model.
In Part 5 we finish up the build by adding the clear parts, assembling the wing panels, and finally attaching the wings. After assembly was done we discussed using the base that comes with the stock, then we build a base for the Tie Fighter from Cosmic Scale Models.
I am neither a professional or expert in models, just someone who has been doing it for a while, and is hoping to teach as well as learn on this journey.
I would like to thank the Hobby Time Modelers @htm_usa for all their help in getting me set up. Also a great thanks to @MarvelPhx for the great intro. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Love the TIE Fighter, such a different design, and the sound wow, so cool & evil.
Very nice work! Thanks for bringing us along on the journey.
@@mdoyle1981 thanks for coming along on the journey.
Turned out great Ken, I love the base!!
@@darthtrentog6766 thanks for watching, Cosmic Scale Models certainly do have a great series of bases.
Awesome model Ken, love that base
@@ithink2ez Thanks Eric, yes Cosmic Scale Models makes some great stuff.
Hey Ken, I don't usually comment on videos, but I just wanted to say how helpful your video series on the Tie Fighter build was. Thank you so much for putting it together and explaining all of the steps so clearly. Have a great day! Cheers.
@@jasonwatts8031Thanks for watching my videos. Take care.
Well that doesn't look that dark after all now that it's all together. But I think I'll still go with a little XF-2. That base is awesome and gave me a few ideas. I enjoyed your build. Hope to see more Star Wars!
EXCRUCIATINGLY AWESOME YO 💯
KUDOS ON THE BUILD!
@@jackoszuscik6669 I had a great time with this build, thanks for watching and commenting.
Great series! Looks Awesome!! Lou is Amazing!
@@themodelstudent20 thanks for taking the time to watch my videos.
The Ocean Grey looks good with its bluish tint. Looks similar to the ILM Stormy Sea from Archive X.
The support rod holder on my base for the defiant snapped to but not completely off like yours did. Awesome video and that tie fighter looks amazing! I need to give that mottling effect a try. One thing though, every time that music comes on I want to head over to the bar and order a drink. 😏
Oh, and that lighting looks sweet!
@@DonnieDaugherty Thanks Donnie, I just hope I don’t corrupt you into going bar too often.
Like I need corrupting! 😏
It's a beautiful model. Why didn't you use the cannon colors from archive x
You could have just left the clear cockpit parts off and kept it accurate to the original filming models which did not have them to avoid reflection from the studio lights.
@@decadentdave I do realize that they didn’t have the glass, however I did want to show it for anyone who was interested in buying/building the kit how the kit turns out. For me personally I prefer the windows being in, as this will be sitting on a shelf collecting dust for years, that will help prevent dust from getting inside. Thanks for watching my videos.
