Bangalore, Karnataka has some amazing destinations around it where you can reach by a quick road trip! This means a lot of weekend getaway options!
On one such weekend we did a half-day trip to Gudibande fort in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. It was just a 90 kms drive to reach this fort and a short trek later we saw some amazing views from up top!
We then drove another 7 kms to reach Sabbanhalli or Vatadahosahalli lake, a scenic lake for a quick stop.
The next weekend we took another road-trip to Sakleshpur, a small hill-station and stayed at Home & Beyond home stay. We had fun exploring their vast coffee estate. We devoured authentic Malanad cuisine while enjoying the lush-green serene surroundings!
