Wow, that gypsum fact was particularly interesting! A lot of really cool stuff going on down where you would usually not expect much more than clay and minerals. Great video!
Thank you so much! 😁👍
Enjoyable and informative as always. My youngest loves the title music. :)
Thanks so much Jo! 😁
Always learn from you Guys / appreciated showing all your experience & sharing it publicly. Gary B
Thanks so much! Great to have you along for the adventure. 😁
Nice one Russ, those gypsum crystals are mad
Thanks Mike! They absolutely are. 😁
Love your videos! Would like to request more fossil vids please…..
Thanks so much! I’ll see what I can do. 😁
Awesome as always mate
Thank you so much! Always appreciated. 😁
Being an Opal miner must be akin to getting and eventual doctorates in the properties of local sedimentary rocks.
You’re absolutely right. There’s a ton of geology knowledge in Lightning Ridge opal miners, most of it is informal, but it’s all there!
I'd guess that White Horse is named for its visual similarity to the Uffingham White Horse
Whoa, now there’s a connection I hadn’t considered! I wonder… 🤔
Any chance of paying to visit a real opal mine? Im doing research on a novel series.
ZZ Top :D
Haha! It’s definitely one of theirs. 😂
