So essentially Ubisoft has given us a hero with the fighting style of a Swiss Army knife
He was already trained in the most versatile weapon so he was always kinda pre-disposed to this playstyle.

The fact the he speaks different languages already make him such a cool character.
His parry, throw, and combo finishers have unique voicelines based on the enemies faction
I'm definitely playing him out of the pure idolization and respect I have for him, which grew during the games Story Mode. I will not be changing his armor from the default look, but I will be striving for the weapon he uses in the trailer.

My friend got me back into For Honor after not playing it for almost a year. I think the last time I played was right before Gryphon came out. Now I have him, and cant stop playing him. Not only is he basically an alternate version of my favorite hero, but his style is perfect too. The default armor he starts with reminds me of the characters I would make in Mount and Blade Warband. Big dudes in scale mail, carrying a bardiche. It's so awesome, cant wait to play him more after work
Theory: the next heroes will be 2 vikings: one having just viking stuff and the other being cross faction to keep with the theme that the knights got.
The same would happen for the others as well
WuLin will probably still get boned out of a hero tho because of profit margin, plus if ZahnHu is evidence of anything we are a assassin and heavy away from this assuming that they want to stay class consistent.
@@samfish2550 If they would want that they wouldnt have put Gryphon in the Knight faction tho. Now we have 9 knights and only 7 vikings and samurai... and the wu lin are even worse with only 5... and even when they would have made him a viking (would fit best after knights) he is still a hybrid and not a heavy...

I’ve had this idea for some time. I always thought it would be neat to get armor based off of the faction you’re allied with for your heroes. Like knight themed armor for your samurai or Viking characters since you’re fighting under the knights

The one you referred to as *Knight* armor (on the far left) is actually the Greek armor. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what I remember the devs saying.

8:05 Note - Lawbringer does not follow up with anything after a whiffed shove. It resets him back to neutral. It's because of his low recoveries that he might as well be able to chain into something, because he has the ability to parry after a whiffed shove.
If I say it like this, he's the first hero ever that I bought for money instead of waiting for the steel buy. I been having a blast using him. As for style, honestly I'm split between the spartan like set or mixing one of his early sets with the flip open Lawbringer helm, kinda like what you did in some clips.
Sooo if we're getting story mode characters then that must mean that next year will probably be a Viking Horkos (or a villain from some other unforseen hostile faction) and the protagonist hero will who will fight against him/her will probably be Stigandr.
Feels like they would do that bringing certain characters from campaign to be the next hero's for their roles.
