Like maybe Olivia and Florence don’t like each other but also people love turning women against each other. A lot of the “evidence” that people have for them not liking each other seems really circumstantial to me. And people are reading so much into a few posts that Florence posted and some out of context screenshots from Shia lebouf. What I got from the texts, videos and interviews is 1- Florence was the one not showing up to rehearsals 2- It's understandable because it was the height of covid and a friend of hers had died and she had to travel for the funeral. 3- Shia was feeling rejected by this, in a very self centered way, and was probably complaining/threatening to leave to Olivia multiple times. 4- Olivia was probably just trying to keep the peace by feeding his ego, which is questionable but it's not like she was bullying Florence. 5- Ultimately he either left on his own, or something else happened that made her decide to let him leave/fire him, that's an unknown. 6- In the end, she did choose Florence since his tantrum was basically about Florence, if she was choosing Shia he would be in the movie and not Florence. 7- All of this happened before the allegations, it was wrong of Olivia/Warnerbros to try to spin this as a consequence of that, when it was months after, they shot themselves in the foot because it brings their credibility into question. 8- Shia has a reputation for lying, manipulating, and going back on his word. When FKA first came out with allegation he admitted to it and apologized; then he retracted and said it was false. He made an autobiographical movie which showed his father being abusive to him, then he said he lied and his dad was never abusive towards. He is a very volatile person. 9- Also it doesn't seem like Florence and Shia ever really met on set? It's confusing

If he was throwing tantrums (and I wouldn't be surprised if he was being volatile or aggressive in that situation) before he even met Florence then it would be a completely reasonable conclusion that he was not going to provide a safe working environment once they were together. Especially with how many intimate scenes there seem to be. That alone would have kept me from casting him to begin with given his history even before the lawsuit and despite him going to rehab. He should have to prove himself before he's cast in a movie with that many intimate scenes between him and a costar.
Also, in regards to if he quit or was fired, I don't know why it can't be possible that both happened. It seems like the official quitting was with WB, not Olivia.
It seems they only interacted via facetime, calls and texts. But its confusing.

Also ppl are saying Florence was paid less than Harry entirely based on rumors. Neither of them spoke on it. Olivia said they were paid equally/fairly, and said Florence is the main star of the movie.

How often has a male director been lambasted for their actions like this? I think the whole thing is awful. I remember Olivia from House many years ago. I hope this blows over. Yes she did thevwrong thing with her Miss Flo comment but it was a private message and she was massaging Shia's ego and probably didn't mean it and never thought it would be leaked. Then again she shouldn't have said what she did in the Variety interview as she did make it sound like she'd fired him. Ugh, what a stupid mess!
