First time I am seeing succulents watered in that way. In generall all advise not to water on leafs to avoid rot and crown rot. But here I see full flood on water 🙄🙄🙄

It would if ur careful with watering the root and soil section is called root ball

I would suggest you to leave it as is without touching and keep it near a wall so that it doesn't get too much wind
