- So I decided to put together a Minecraft Modpack that has no bounds or restrictions. This pack will be used for my Let's Play and allow me to be as creative as I can be. This pack gives me the tools I need to build amazing things and adventure. I hope you enjoy and follow along!

As someone who loves playing minecraft to build and survive, but doesnt like grinding for an abundance of a resource; I'm very excited that this pack revolves around Project E. It allows for discovery and still includes progression, but without the grind.
I'm actually sad to see the water go, I thought it would be cool to see you build platforms over the water for your projects to stand on.
When I was making my personal modpack I noticed that project E automatically calculated EMC values for things that use the vanilla crafting table. So all you have to do is set the base EMC for modded resources and it sets the rest of the items that use those resources EMC values.
i have my own small modpack, and EVERYTHING has an emc value, because i spent hours adding values to everything, the crafting recipies autofilling emc was a lifesaver

For more upgrade slots you can apply a book and quill to your tinkers tool. You can also use a golden apple to exchange one ability slot for two upgrade slots.
I'm so happy to see Project E making a comeback. I fell in love with it way back in the original Feed the Beast map.

I love that you took a break from normal mod packs and released it so we can play along and you took a break so you can relax and take some well needed down time.

As someone that isn't that great at setting up servers im pleasantly surprised at how easy it was setting up a custom private server for me and my buddies to play this modpack, we all watch your videos and were stoked to see that you were making your own modpack featuring mods that we love.
Having Project E in a 1.16.5 world feels so good! I'm used to only having Project E on 1.12 worlds super stoked to get real into this modpack! Not looking forward to having to deal with roaches though!

I'm loving the pack, and the videos! The pack is helping a lot, normally I try to do quest packs but this helps me figure out what I want to do when I don't have such things :)

Question regarding the morph mod, When you're morphed into an Enderman can you Teleport? If so, would that have been an easier way of getting to the village rather than as a bat?

Loving how this pack seems, only thing I would want is more early game activities, like a primitive start and then building up to project e, but I’ll just have to do some personal pack making using yours, excited to see more
You could edit the config and make it so you don't start with a transmutation table. That way its locked behind getting diamonds at least.

So I thought about using shaders... The problem with using them is the potential for lag once I start building larger scale things later on
blue sand form "Oh The Biomes You Go" is a good source of emc cause it has a crafting recipe and it need lapis (early game)

i know this is late but i just found your modpack and man i'm having fun but yes I got to a (16:01) tower before I got to this video and it blew me up. I got the best jump scare of my life :)
You can also use mob heads and book and quills to add modifier slots.

That framed blocks mod sounds epic I enjoy a 128x texture pack so mods that auto adapt to my high resolution textures is beyond welcome change

One of the tweaks in the vanilla tweaks resource pack allows you to remove ashes from the bottom of fireplaces for decoration :)

I have never been a strong builder. This pack allows me the flexibility to make a design choice and if it isn't right or just plain sucks, It's no real lose. I can tear it down, revert the EMC and try another design without having an inventory of blocks that didn't work for whatever build I messed up on.
you may prefer the bat for locomotion, but when there's evil around every corner, I prefer morphing into a beetle.
they count as a mob, don't burn in the sun, have auto-step, and have SO MUCH ADDITIONAL ARMOR.
(they are also chunky, with a nice 2x2x2 size)

love mod pack, nether OP, getting dimension shards for emc , a stack is 1.7mil emc , and im building a enderman farm and xp and gold farm
I adore the Tinker's Mod! Might I suggest using Alumite for your tool rods and bindings? It's light but has awesome durability :D
Tinkers is trash now. You can't name your tools anymore, tinker's armory wasn't updated past 1.12, and they made the modifiers needlessly complex and less fun to apply. its just a mess now.
It might be cool to have easy villagers in this modpack cause it just makes it soo much easier to cycle trades our and lets you automate them

A little improvement that could facilitate the playthrough. And it's something I never saw previously. Since repair kits are always made from one specific material and can't be improved, modified and mixed, you could put an emc value on the repairs kits. The value could be the original cost of materials since you are only skipping the crafting/melting part. For example, stone repair kit = 2 cobble = 2 EMC. Iron repair kit = 2 iron ingots (?) = 512 emc.
Pack looks so good! That villager mod is broken... the hunter job is the best.

4:09 you can then use an energy condenser to get the emc back
With TConstruct you can technically name it back in 1.6 versions which basically is naming a tool through an anvil. If you have the right Mods you can make the name of the tool have fancy stuff.
I downloaded your mod right away but sadly my computer can run it.. when I saw this I was so sad because I really want to play your mod pack as it look so fun!

I am a fan of project E ,been a long time since I played it so I am excited to play along. Just downloaded it and ready to start! One question did you not use shaders due to an issue with optifine or shaders or just didn't want to use them? I know you usually add Bsl to most packs, (I like chocopics v8 but it's a bit heavy on my system so I generally use complimentary.)

I just briefly tested a new mod called Malum a magic type mod that seems very interesting. Maybe a nice addition to your pack although as I am typing it occured to me I don't know if there is a 1.16.5 version. Mischief of Mice posted a spotlight vid on it recently.

In a different mod those towers got me good
you can repair your hammer with bronze too, and it would give significantly more durability per ingot.

Have you considered a colored lighting mod? That way for your interiors you can choose your lighting more creatively; for example, cold fluorescent lights in a workshop, or lime green lanterns in a potion brewing room? I know the soul lanterns are blue, but they don’t give off blue light, if that makes sense
