If the teens didn't call the old man a rapist he wouldn't have no need to walk up to them. If the teens didn't scream out loud and bully him the other group would have never came and escalated the situation. If those women didn't come and get into the old man's face threatening him without knowing what the teen boys were saying his true or not then he wouldn't have punched the bitch in the face. If they wouldnt have ganged up on him and continue to bully and physical assault him he wouldn't have had the need to pull out his knife and stab then.
The teens started the whole situation and they are the reason their friend is dead. That man wasn't bothering them they had no reason to call him a rapist. They should be charged for their friends murder

They see real life pictures, they don’t need diagrams. Victims literally pulled their shirts up and showed them on the stand too, which is something I hadn’t seen before. And I don’t think it matters in the long run, they aren’t deciding if the wounds were bad or not. They are deciding if this guy did ANY wound or not. While I appreciate jurors having as much info as possible, I think it’s easy to overwhelm them as well. You have to have a good balance of enough info but not too much. It can cause them to over think or misunderstand things. And they’re already there not being paid, in a fairly long trial, they want it over with as soon as possible. Going over unnecessary info can just make jurors irritated.

@Sara-xk1ns A picture or scar doesn't show all the intricate inner workings of the body. The jury no doubt got lost in this testimony and more than likely didn't understand the verbiage the surgeon used. The point is to help them fully understand as best they can. Without oversimplification, they won't grasp the seriousness of their injuries. Injuries can speak to the intent of the person inflicting them. For example, AJ's injuries were a result of the defendant stabbing inward near his pelvis and ripping the knife upward. That's very different from a quick stab in the torso. The prosecutor needs to do better if he wants a conviction.

The 110 lb girl was stabbed first. He started the fighting part, they were just being young and dumb. Self Defense on hitting a female in the face then stabbing Riley? If he wouldn't have put his hands on these women, I don't think no knife was going to be needed. Because that's how the fight broke out, the men got pissed for this freak to start going knife crazy. And on another matter, if that was me I would of had someone call 911
And let them know that I was attacked and I believed I had stabbed someone because of self defense. Not when the cop opened the door and asked if he was okay and not to cold, and he said "No but I heard there was a fight and someone was stabbed and I fit the description, and hides the knife he uses all the time. Then still gets to the police station acting dumb. Just be honest and not quilty.

Older guy approached them, older guy put hands on them first, older guy had several opportunities to leave, and older guy just started stabbing anyone around him including a girl. Dude went full Psycho stab mode. Were the kids obnoxious, yes...absolutely! But older guy Miu should have walked away. Blame all around but most blame and severe injuries and death were committed by one person who chose to stay in the mix. He most obviously did not fear for his life.

He’s getting straight to the facts and he’s well versed on how to testify, even asking for refer to documents at one point for further clarification if need be. He isn’t answering anything in a way that causes confusion, if anything he makes it so you have no questions after he answers that first one.

The defense is looking pathetic here. If attempting to infer the victims potentially worsened their own injuries by pulling away or moving incorrectly is all they got they are a sad team. Miu is not someone we want around the general public. While behavioral issues with taunting someone may be inappropriate as hell it does not justify hacking anyone to death. By far one of the biggest fears I have is encountering the rage and fury of an intoxicated beast who swats flies with Cadillacs and brings knives to verbal disputes with teenagers. He has full opportunity to walk away the entire time.
