  • I had the pleasure to talk to Jeannie about her success using a mind-body approach to overcome years of chronic symptoms. It is possible to feel better and there is a way out of suffering by changing your brain to change your pain or whatever symptom you suffer from. Jeannie has since gone to do her own work in this field. You can learn more about her and her work here.

Great Testimony. All this is different from A book and 10 week Presence Process which didn't exactly work for me
It made aware of my emotions but the author says our purpose is just being...Your story is inspiring.

Have you worked with people with Frozen Shoulder? I’m bilateral and have spent $1000s, almost 100 sessions of PT.. I’d like to know if I should reach out to you for a session, or if I should just continue with what I’m doing

I think he’s said it’s not about the issue or dx. Pain comes from our neurons. Real yes but also nerve impulses and connections. Websites with tests (and info) to see if you have TMS. Do a search. Make sure to rule out shoulder impingement. It can be misdx as frozen shoulder. See a good PT or your MD.

I had this exact symptom, and while I'm still working through some other symptoms, this one completely resolved using a mind-body/tms approach. Now it only sometimes comes back when my stress-level is high (in the same way others might experience a headache etc.) So yes, I can say with certainty that this can be a TMS symptom, especially if your scans showed nothing =)

@@leahsalinas5662 thanks Leah. the last 2 days it has gotten so much worse that i can literally not move more than a few meters before literally rolling up in terror from the pain. I am used to pain and for me to say this means its more than anyone could bear. I f…g hate having TMS.
Despite or because of constantly challenging it and reading Dr Sarno in constant rotation , deep journaling and being SURE its TMS. It just wont budge. this is so brutal I can’t bear it. seems almost as if my usual routine of reading about TMS , doing stuff despite the pain etc has made it a lot worse this time.
CT scan from FR showed kidneys and ribs are fine!

      @@leahsalinas5662 Hey Leah
      sorry to bother you
but this TMS or whatever pain is killing me .
I have never had such insane TMS pain.
Starting to really doubt these pain as TMS.
I still haven’t had the MRI to rule out a spinal tumor .
i doubt its that but the pain is not reacting to anything I am doing regarding TMS. journaling, brain retraining, trying to exercise
last 2 days I can t get up from the bed as the shooting pain is just too brutal to bear
