Hi,
Thank you for your question. You are right. When you plug in the values found and given to find the bending normal stress in points A and B the answer will be in pascal or newton over meter squared. The missing step in my solution is - I divided the final answer by 1,000,000 to convert it to MPa (Using a conversion factor).
1 Megapascal = 1000000 pascal.
