Edgar Hansen is by far the best man in all this show, he was humble and was a really nice guy to all, a real man i wish this guy the best because he deserve this! He never had any trouble with someone and he was to all soooo nice this guy was really different than all he was and still be the best, his Brother Sig was never like him! Edgar was really one of a kind!!!
I have always preferred Edgar as a member of the North Western, I also feel he was very much undervalued by his brother. If his back allows it he is one person I would love to see back where he rightfully belongs…I wish him, and his family well….
It just seems weird that Edgar is no longer on the boat. He was a great mechanic and crane operator. Not sure if discovery said either he’s gone or your boats out!? Who knows. He is a great fisherman and will b missed.

Although I am not a fan of those who sexually assault or allegedly do it... I freaking loved Edgar.. he was a beast on the Northwestern. I'll never forget him making Jake eat a raw fish heart when he was a greenhorn. Edgar & Sig mentored Jake who is now a Captain of his own boat the Saga.. Egar always made the show interesting and he was versatile as deck boss.. engineer.. cooking 🍳 👩🏼🍳 I mean the guy could do it all. Those Hansen's are made of steel & tough as they come. Look at Sigs daughter for an example..She's Edgar's niece and is just as tough as her Father & uncle. Gotta respect the Hansen's 👍🏽
Edgar will never be brought bk to Deadliest Catch bcuz of his SA charges to a minor ! He is on the boat still just removed from all TV filming ... It a shame bcuz everyone liked Edgar & the fact that he licked drugs/alcohol too ...
You would be shocked at the past charges of other casts on the Discovery channel from different shows from Street outlaws deadliest catch and the rest of the reality shows!

I have most recorded and there's always On Demand for the real people who like reality.

Met the three brothers years ago. Sig was actually a pretty cool dude but Edgar by far was the best and has always been my favorite.
