These were such lovely tips & ideas. When our grand daughter comes over to visit, we love making her favourite foods. She’s almost 4 now, but when she was a baby I’d pick her up & show her what her Pepere (French term for grandpa) was making in the kitchen. We live in a humble home without a lot of bells & whistles, so I’m happy to offer her the simple comforts & joys that I hope she will always remember in her heart after we are long gone.
I love to go to apple orchards in the fall, they immediately take me back to my grandparents home when I was young. They had a root cellar where they stored all their fruits and vegetables, every time you opened the door, the smell of apples filled the air. Always puts a smile on my face. Hi Skye ~ such beautiful ideas for cozy and comfy ! Soft lights, candles burning and the delicious scents. I light my candles at 5am and usually blow them out at 5pm… 😁 I use a lot of candles year round. With all my kitties, I sadly don’t use a lot of rugs. I guess growing up with wall to wall carpet, I longed for hardwood floors..LOL!! I have 2 small rugs under trunks …but love the “no rugs” to clean and Swiffer clean daily… 😻 But must have my cozy warm SOCKS !
I love my down time at night with Pandora. I will have to check your playlist out! Acoustic guitar, piano, violin , the cello ! Growing up in the late 60’s and 70’s I surprise myself with the choice of music now! LOL!

Love the tips you shared but all I could think about in the intro was your coffee spilling over the edge of your cup and how heavy that cup must be getting!
I do all of these and they do make such a difference! Lol, I just put slippers in my guest room as little gifts for my visitors for Christmas.

Hi Lisa! Oh they are SO similar! I’m looking at both of them now and the only difference that I notice is that the Richelieu has slightly more blue! I truly love them so much. They’re so soft and amazing quality!
