Seems like we’re starting to see a trend of other truck drivers getting into cabovers. Love seeing old iron back on the road. Hope to see more and more older trucks on the road. Keep Orwell rolling Steve. Thanks for the videos.
@@fsctruckingI got a 2019 Nissan Altima limited 20k miles nice as a Mercedes. Warning lights, check engine lights, tire pressure, it's always something. 3 yr warranty they had it 10 times never got it straight. Many reasons for older trucks on highway. And better run em while you still can. State, US government could shut em down tomorrow.
Steve if you spray rain-x 2 in 1 glass cleaner + rain repellent on your cameras lens it will keep rain off lens while raining. I use it on my car and truck cameras all the time . I hope it helps your lens also. Hope you have a safe and great day.
Orwell has always been a favorite of mine but I absolutely love how you're making changes little by little and making that old boy a handsome ride. Top notch Sir.
My favorite truck is the KW K100c Aerodyne pre 85 with the round headlights. My father had a regular K100 with the big bunk for a few yrs back in the late 70’s when he drove for Allied Van Lines , spent many hrs in that truck during my 7th & 8th grade summers. The old man passed in Jan of 2020 , wish I could travel back in time to go out on the road with him again. Hey Steve you know what’s funny ? You hold the wheel with your right hand exactly the same way my father did.
All the cabover fans are out in full force. I owned one of the nicest cabovers on the road in 1978 and ever since they eased up on the length laws and we could go conventional, I have never looked back on cabovers with any kind of affection.
Chris is a BIGGER part of the firm than you can ever show but his worth is what is UNSEEN because he keeps you rolling and you doing what you do and making much more than you would without him behind the scenes Keep on doing what you do CHRIS and we will see your results along the way
I guess allot of worker's watch your video's cause they said there's a KW Cabover just like the one we just completed rebuilding from the ground up to the whole interior. Jesse was like that's cool. The paint job nearly looks like our's. We have seen cabovers still running around the US and a few of them at Truck Shows.
A good looking cabover will always get my attention and I’m glad to see them out and working. There was an absolutely gorgeous K100 with the Aerodyne like that recently. Black/gray with orange accents/striping pulling doubles for Allied. Even at 0-why the hell am I awake-30, I had to pull in to give it a look over.
I ride route 80 west in NJ everyday I have seen KW K100 Freithliner Argoys peterbilt COE and old Trans star 2 international I hope they do make a comeback I remember as a kid and a huge truck nut these COE trucks running all over
The advantage of having Chris employed is that both Orwell and the shop can be running at the same time. Not like before when you have to choose between running in money with Orwell or shop.
Hi Steve! I would definitely go with painted hubs, painted nuts as well in that nice blue metallic. The wheel nut I would put chrome covers on. About your channel I watch mostly because a like the way you film and edit your videos. Dont get me wrong Steve but you are the star of the channel, Orwell is the bling. Looking forward to see whatever you come up with in the future. Content with Chris as well!
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. First drop delivered glad to see the first generator make it off the trailer and back to the ground that chain didn't look good the way it was hooked. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
Wow that was a nice truck too, use to go on runs with my dad in the late 70s , I think he had about 75 Mack cabover with a Cummings in it.. Thanks for letting us ride along. Have a good one.
Having Mr Chris & an AWESOME crew 2 help get PROJECTS done @ the shop DEFINITELY is an HUGE BLESSING!!!!!🫡🫱🏻🫲🏾👍🏾😎🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🇺🇸📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵
Steve this is Jesse and I was like what the hell is going on with those who text message me saying that our KW Cabover is on Steve's channel and Jessie was like that's cool and she shows me a screenshot that a employee took of the KW Cabover in the video. We don't have the chrome sun visor on our's. It's factor looking original. The paint job nearly looks like our's. The lights on top of the cab and sleeper is the same way we have our's. Nope they are not white like our KW Semi in top of our cab and sleeper. It's all completed and my middle son he's finished with the wiring for the stereo. And no we are not going to be installing a Green Apu System. I had mechanics take the complete heater and air conditioning system out of a wrecked KW and they all installed in the cab and sleeper and it works excellent. Both me and Jessie slept in it when it was finished except for the stereo system and a few gauge's. Even my grandparents friend's Jessie's grandma and our neighbor Gigi was like it's just like your grandparents Cabover Jesse. All the running lights are original looking. A few employees that knew my grandparents were happy working on it with me and my kid's.
Prayers for Justin at Flint Creek Transport. One of his drivers was getting close to the shop and laid the truck over. The only injuries to the driver was his pride. The truck and trailer are both toast. There’s roadsalt in a farmer’s field. You don’t ever wanna see a family trucking family take a hit like that.
First time at your channel. Nice camera work with all the different perspectives - watch out Hollywood lol Nice looking truck too. What branch were you in? My guess is Army like myself...
I passed you this day when I was heading west on 480 ... It appears that you edited the footage about 2 minutes to soon from me seeing myself in one of your videos... This will be the the second time I seen you coming through Cleveland... Stay safe out there.
Independent truck drivers like you Steve have a lot to do with the return of the cabover that's for sure I heard it's been proven to be safe if the driver wears a seatbelt when driving a cab over
Great video, always excellent content, I appreciate your time. Don't you wish 80 was always that calm with so little traffic? Stay safe brother, God bless. Kevin
The red cab over with the Chrome and sleeper looks like it could also be a show truck yes I hate to say it Steve but it's even fancier than good-looking Orwell
The first truck I really loved (other than my dad's R Model Mack) was a KW Aerodyne. When I saw that, I was like "Whoa..." Then my dad started to talk about everything that was bad about them lol. Didn't matter....I was hooked. Then when I got to ride in one, that was the topper. One thing in my bucket list in life - checked. When I hauled flatbed and they told me to tarp it, I did. Then when I delivered and un-tarp, and they'd leave it sit outside, I always wondered the same thing! I was told it was to protect the load while it was on my truck. Once they got it, and on their property, they could do whatever they wanted with it - and I was safe. Good enough for me. Basically, "Cover Your Ass - in every way."
It's not just the old cab overs that are going to be seen in the US. Scania from Sweden has built a brand new demonstrator truck and is sending it to all of the US truck shows in 2025. Another TH-camr called Bruce Wilson has been made a US agent for Scania and has sent him an R770 tractor unit. It's on a ship to Baltimore right now and will arrive there on 25th Nov. It's a 16 litre 770 bhp European cab over the tractor unit, and Bruce Wilson will be taking it to all of the major US truck events in 2025.
Nice to see a little coal rollling. I grew up on a alabama farm we had 2 cabover pete's a 77 and a 78 year models detroit powered one was a 10 speed the other a 13 we used to haul our soy beans corn, cotton, cattle. Miss those days, i see a older cabover and it makes me wanna buy one. I had one freight hauling job after i left home, driving a 84 ford daycab big cam cummins across north alabama, mississippi. Some day's/night's i ran double shifts when some ol ass would not show up for work. Cdl''s started coming around i grandfathered in but did not drive much after that. When cdl's came around there was what we then called too much bullshit, and now it's so much worse. Ain't nothing like road dope, coffee and a cb for entertainment.
I enjoyed the video Steve, I think Orwell looks good, when you got to the first stop on your delivery I cracked up when you called out the guy that chained up the piece of equipment and told him he could pay for it, keep on keeping on, and if you are ever coming to visit Tim Gentry I would like to come and meet up with you all, I am not far away from where he is located, have a good one.
Hey Steve, have you ever thought about getting a 164 scale model truck made of Orwell if you had those made, you could sell them on your merch Adams you’d be surprised of how many adult diecast truck collectors are out there that would buy your truck any questions just let me know I’m a custom builder myself, CSM customs.
Seems like we’re starting to see a trend of other truck drivers getting into cabovers. Love seeing old iron back on the road. Hope to see more and more older trucks on the road. Keep Orwell rolling Steve. Thanks for the videos.
It's actually not because of them being cabovers. It's because cabovers are old. Older rigs are cheaper and easier (simple) to maintain.
@@fsctruckingI got a 2019 Nissan Altima limited 20k miles nice as a Mercedes. We here in Australia still have the KW K200 & K220 in production & lot older K100/125 on the road
i have seen videos of aussie and kiwi trucks very awsome.
working cabover's with cats. sounding awesome.
Cabover are so much cooler than others.
They look cool, but your ass will never forgive you for driving them.
I miss driving them but I don't miss the rough ride.
Rebuild to air suspension at the front and they will be better to drive.
All the cabover fans are out in full force. I owned one of the nicest cabovers on the road in 1978 and ever since they eased up on the length laws and we could go conventional, I have never looked back on cabovers with any kind of affection.
KW cabovers are my favorites
So glad you hired Chris. So many things will get attention, that slipped by in the past. It can only help Steve.
Chris is a BIGGER part of the firm than you can ever show but his worth is what is UNSEEN because he keeps you rolling and you doing what you do and making much more than you would without him behind the scenes
Keep on doing what you do CHRIS and we will see your results along the way
I just saw early 80’s Freightliner cab over going south on I -41 today in Wisconsin
I don’t drive the interstate as much as I used to but it is always good to see a cab over out there. Thanks for sharing.
2 of my favorite trucks the K100E & the pete 362C
I started out in cabovers in 1980. I've always preferred cabovers. Been retired for a while now.
Hey Steve just a friendly reminder you might want to retourk the clamps on the upper exhaust pipes cause there moving a little bit
funny enough we still have a ton of these in Jamaica, cab over internationals are the most common ones
I remember seeing that Kenworth at the diner in Forest Junction, Hwy 10 and 57, three years ago. Sounds as good as it looks.
That is a nice looking red KW COE... Can hardly wait to get mine on the road......
Orwell has got to be one of the best sounding trucks on TH-cam 👍🇺🇲

Certainly. Lovely rig!

look at those sweet wheels with the matching blue hubs!

Great camera placement and editing. Your video work drew me into your story and kept me watching. ..well done.
Been watching this channel for probably 3 or 4 years now - you definitely seem happier lately, great to see the channel and Orwell progression 😄
Good safety driver 👍
Hi Steve! seems Orwell through a little more cool with the new intercooler!
The light bar on the rear of the kenworth was really great job looked, awesome
You and Orwell take some great videos.
Occasionally we wash a cab over Freightliner, probably the easiest was we get in. His intake is the middle of the exhaust stacks.
I have a addiction to areo cab k100s grew up in one still love the double stack clearance lights.
That's a K100 E that someone put round headlights in, The set back front axel gives it away.
Very nice red k100 cabover one of my favorite truck
No more smoke on start up 😊

Thank you for showing your travel through Mahoning county Ohio.
Mr Orwell out DOIN DA DEAL
Orwell and his fantastic team. (Steve, Jen, Chris)❤
Whoa that's an immaculate Kenworth K100E there love the color red its my favorite color
Hi, Steve! Keep up the good work. Regards from Brazil 🇧🇷!
Great video, always excellent content, I appreciate your time.
Don't you wish 80 was always that calm with so little traffic?
Stay safe brother, God bless.

Orwell looks sharp with those new wheels on. Cant wait to see the ford all finished that thing really will look sharp 👌
New wheels looks great!!! Strap winder??
After 2 Southern Comfort shots I will confess a fantasy is to meet Orwille on the Highway...lol😊
Two cabover semis close to each other is a super rare site in the USA these days.
That KW reminds me off Henry R Goods truck long time ago met him in Germany
I passed a Freightliner cabover on Thursday on my return from Columbus
Summer almost over get the bagging out
The windmill heads probably last longer in transit than they do when Installed and running 🤣
Steve you were only a few minutes from my place when you got off for the Sunbelt pace in Montoursville PA I live in Williamsport!
The red cab over with the Chrome and sleeper looks like it could also be a show truck yes I hate to say it Steve but it's even fancier than good-looking Orwell

Compact trucks are always convenient in cramped space and there's alot of those tricky place for sure.
Cabover Life!
That's a newer love's on 76 in Ohio usually really clean place.
I'm sure glad that your steering got fixed , Huge difference it as scaring me before !😱😱☮☮🍁🍁
Yes sir catrules
The camera view from a top of the trailer looking towards the back of the truck awesome!

boy your a running ion all my stomping grounds ,that loves is off i 76 in diamond ohio near rt 224
US trucks seem to have a lot more "slack" in the steering wheel than UK/EU. Move our wheel just a fraction and your turning.
THOSE DRIVERS ARE SAVING THEIR HEADLIGHTS FOR A RAINY DAY.
One Kenworth K100 would fit well in FSC fleet of trucks ❤❤❤
Yes, it would.
Love the Video!!
Steve you need to get some of those excel covers 😊

See some on us 20 east of la grange indiana
Cool❤
Good evening Steve
Good video Mr Steve nice kw beside Orwell 👍🙂
Steve how complicated is it to hook a chain with two hooks at Sunbelt???
I enjoy your videos,I a jerseyite as well,n jersey to be exact, bee trucking 30 yrs .keep it goin..😊
And why do you have the stacks sticking up so high ??
I always used to go 65 to us 30 across Indy and Ohio to 76 and back up to avoid the tolls
That truck is as nice as your fsc
Argosy Freightliner thé best
I took a picture of that cabover behind the Forest Junction diner at Hwy 10 & 57, three years ago. Sent it to Bonehead Truckers.
Why would you do that?
Why tho?
Older trucks are certainly better if you can afford what it takes to fix one up like new. No DEF tank means less problems and more money.
You are very lucky to find one of my favorite truck take care of you self Steve have a good day
I had 1964 marmon years ago drove lots cabovers back in the day lm has been driver haha
