If there were a lot of Balloons it's 100% Capadocia, but same kind of architecture(Stone City) can be found in Georgian historical cities:Vardzia,located in south-west Georgia and Uplistsikhe, beautiful places to visit but there are no balloons there.

I think having Stalin take over in Georgia is one of the better and least memey paths in Kaiserredux, although some of the buffs are a bit too insane. The rest of the mod is a Jreg shitpost however, and it really takes away from some of the things they've improved on from base Kaiserreich, such as the American Civil War (and even there you have memes such as syndicalist cat girls).
I dont get why so many people are like "Redux is so much better than Kaiserreich" when the other is a meme mod and the other is more serious. It's like comparing a parody movie with the original version of the movie, doesnt really make sense. Both of the mods are fine though, if I want a more serious and challenging playthrough I'll play Kaiserreich and if I want a memey, million buffs and just a more chill game then its Redux.
I love Tommy having the same "Sovietwave" in the background as I found half a year ago, so amazing. Its 80s retro futurism, missing a future that never happened.
The napoleonico path for the French exiles is really fucking good, you're never done fighting people, and at one point you actually get coalitions by the entirety of Europe (after you fought so hard against the thir international and the Ottomans)

Pretty sure Stalin changed his name at least in part to seem more Russian. He had a thick accent when he gave speeches during the war and he wanted to fit in with the bigger ethnic group.
