I’m from Texas USA, all my life I washed my chicken with water and one day my oldest daughter shared an article with me that said “Do not wash your chicken just pat it dry, season it and the heat will kill bad bacteria.” 🤦🏻♀️I feel like everyday there is new food information. 😅

Good video ❤ ,I'm living in Haiti, in Haitian culture we wash our meat with green lemon, sour orange and vinegar to remove odors,.after washing the meat, we boil water and put it on the meat to rinse it.after rinsing it ,we season the meat with Haitian spice which is a blend of garlic, parsley, celery green onions ,pepper ect

No babes, def wash your meat w|salt lime & or vinegar. We too buy fresh meat in the market & it WILL be thoroughly cleaned along w|all bowls & sink w|bleach/disinfectants. It washes away all the excess blood, slime etc.

Can you share all the ingredients you added to the chicken dish at 3:20? I wanna try making it!! Also it’s fine to wash your chicken! Articles are just saying it can contaminate surfaces if you don’t wash the surfaces. For example if you wash raw chicken in a bowl and then eat fruit out of the bowl without washing the bowl lol.

Hi. I am from Europe, Hungary. We always wash meats with clean tap water. And then clean all the surfaces where the meaty water was. My mom and my grandma used to do this as well. And I bet the majority of Hungarians do this.

Hello, I'm from Houston Texas and I'll use water if I didn't realize I was out of vinegar, but I've also washed my meat and I also eat leftover rice. Google is there for reference and it is good but, cleaning up will take care of the cross contamination.

Where I'm from, we definitely were taught to wash our meat with lemon or vinegar. Maybe cause it is frozen from the supermarket and not as fresh as going to the market to buy. However, do what works for you.

I feel like meat washing it different all around but when I was a kid the meat was in packages (I am in USA) and we cleaned the meat with water and probably vinegar. But our meat (in my opinion) is probably not as fresh as your meat.

Jollof Spaghetti- what a cool concept, Jayan! The way that you wash meat is perfectly fine. It is more of an issue storing raw and cooked meat near each other. The cooking process should kill any residual bacteria as long as you cook it to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees C). People here get sick from everything because of their low immunity level. You were glistening again, yet not enough from you being a girly-gurl. Have water packs really gone up 5X in the past few years? How cute, Gummy Queen saves her protein to eat last, probably like when she was a little girl😉. Back to church and fellowship with The Almighty but beware of the wolves dressed up as sheep, or guys in green shirts following you!
