I also wanna add that Emo Marinette doesn't have a good mom either. So her relationship with her mother is bad, she has no friends at school, no Adrien, and she's getting bullied by Chloe. I really like her characterization to be honest. When she vented to Marinette I felt so bad for her.
I dont really think that Emo Marinette mom is bad maybe just not that thoughful as the mom in this world . She cry when read the diary that when it say "My mon is always gentle and care about me" and Emo Mari cry nodding agree so Emo Mom does care maybe not that as close to Mom but like she does try gurl
i loved that shagybug's lucky charms were way more direct to what she needed to do in oppose to ladybug's like when ladybug got a car, she made a plan with driving it involved, but when shadybug got a car, she literally THREW the car lmao
There's an issue to the idea about shadybug's lucky charms because in the last episode of season 5, Ladybug gained the ability to not de-transform after using the lucky charm the same way as this version of Shadybug and had a fight scene with Gabriel and used her powers the same way you mentioned which makes no sense to me because the old ladybug would utilize her charm because it's valuable and it's the key to solving a problem but in the fight in the last episode she kept summoning weapons using the lucky charm. Like this de transforming ability just rendered her powers to less value and makes her powers seem less lucky and more convenient
This may be my own opinion, but this is probably the best the writing has been in awhile. Season 5 could never reach to the at least decent writing of this special.
It was good but there wasn't a lot of closure, we never found out any ending info about the alternate reality. Like who's the supreme? Who else is a miraculous holder in that world? How did the supreme control the miraculous in the reality but not in this reality, since all of the miraculous are the same kwami? I liked the concept but it just felt like it got tunnel visioned
I feel like it should've been a bit longer to develop on their characters but the special wasn't as bad as I thought, it was way better than what season 5 had to offer.
@@Harumi27282i agree but if you’re going to have a show that centers around a bad guy with teenage superhero on who’s father is a villain it would make sense for him the main character or at lest swapped out their parents out but that won’t happen because marinette’s parents are the creator and his crush’s dream daughter

In every universe there are canon events 1. Emilie dies 2. Nathalie uses a broken miraculous as seen in the movie 3. Adrien plays with dolls lol Never disrupt the canon Miguel O'Hara
No it should be 1 . Parents Dies ( it could be any holder of cats one ) 2 . Someone use the Peacock and Suffer in many ways 3 . Someone try to do somethings to fix somethings and become a bad guy That the Canon Event so like my god it still the Peacock problem ( or maybe other miraculous that break ) . Just dont use the broken one how hard could it be .
It honestly kinda makes sense now, because people where always talking about if the miraculouses where created for the greater good then why does the butterfly miraculous exist? Well, this special shows us that the butterfly miraculous CAN be used for the greater good, and the ladybug and black cat miraculouses can also be used for evil if fallen into the wrong hands.
i thought it shouldve been clear any of them could be used for good or evil. unfortunately, the movie tries to frame it otherwise (master fu straight up trying to say it’s evil) for some reason, but i dont think the show ever did. the butterfly just kept falling into the wrong hands rip
the movie doesn’t follow canon, anywho, it’s been said before in the show that the butterfly miraculous has been used in the past to create heroes, nuroo warns gabriel that it shouldn’t be used for evil in the first season i think?
If you are planning on watching the series and your in the USA everything up to I think the Paris world special is on Disney+. Well, I take it back the Miraculous ladybug movie isn’t on Disney+ in the US because it’s on Netflix in the US.
Thanks for the information I wanna watch all of the miracles' tv shows. Now I know it’s On Disney Plus I’m a USA citizen. I also 26 years old so it kind of embarrassing for my dad or my older brother to catch my watching a kid show
Chloé was DRAGGED so hard in this special I swear. Also, I'd assume "The Supreme" is a part of the order of the guardians, since alternate Tikki and Plagg have those symbols over their mouths, which look like the symbol of the guardians. Anyways, loved the special! The redemption of Shadybug and Claw Noir was predictable, but it was great regardless.
@@happyblue4940 I mean, it was the natural path to take. From my understanding, one (of the many) differences in Shadybug and Claw Noir's universe is they went through the same hardships as our Marinette and Adrien did, only they didn't grow & recover from them (most likely because The Supreme took advantage of them). Our Marinette's hardship (before she got her miraculous) was Chloe bullying her, so alt!Marinette's hardship was also Chloe bullying her. And that's been established since S1
@@Oopie-m3oi also feel like it makes her show that she isn't the same shadybug anymore, it distants her old outfit to fit her new beginning as a hero.
In the French version, Gabriel's superhero identity is "Hesperia". In the English version, it is instead "Betterfly". Gabriel's French superhero identity, Hesperia, means "evening" or "evening star" in Greek. Hesperia is also a brand skipper of the butterfly family
I think adrien specifically phrasing it as somebody else would have to lose their mom is a lot more powerful cause its like. I suffered because i lost my mom and i would never wish that suffering on someone else as opposed to just killing is wrong. like it frames it more clearly as him being empathetic which just makes me so 🥺
This special really gave Shadybug so much more depth and emotion than Marinette got in five seasons. Like Shadybug is just so much more of a fleshed out character, crazy
@@rattaniusprattaniousi think they mean how marinette had no reaction to celesticat looking exactly like chat blanc. i bet you that """"technically"""" there were ""differences"" and that's why she didn't attribute them to being the same, but they went cheap on the design so it was no difference for us to see 💀 ugh can you imagine tho i feel like that would've been SO emotional for her and almost a little healing to see that memory of him almost destroying the world in another timeline to him in that same form saving them in her timeline
but she had to lose her memory bc of the fact that adrien and her were loving eachother, which led to adrien showing himself as cat noir so it’s not wrong that she didn’t get any reaction onto it? but if that ain’t so and am talking bs rn, u gotta admit that every character is quite stupid to not match 1+1 w I.e marinette having the same hair and voice as ladybug, so eh🤷♀️
@@minhoe4ever you're all good LOL bunnix protected ladybug from finding out anything too far beyond her mission to free chat blanc, so her memory didn't need to be erased but the marinette from the chat blanc timeline WAS erased you're right. our timelines ladybug does still remember having to save chat blanc but not the whole identity thing, and we see that in that one episode where chat was like "im never gonna get akumatized" and she had a mini flashback to it. you're absolutely right tho the characters are kinda dumb ALL the time and its so silly honestly, this is gonna be another thing added to the massive pile of "if they could process more than a singular thought they would've seen this" 💀💀 gotta love em LOL
lol I noticed a plot hole. If Claw Noir broke into Gabriel's base (aka his own house), wouldn't he piece together that Betterfly is his own father?????????
@@greenstarlover1 yeah I thought maybe Alya is the owner of the mansion instead???? but it's still pretty weird. Shadybug still lives in the bakery, so why wouldn't Claw Noir still live in the mansion?
I was like, since both of them figured out that their alternate ladybug and cat noir versions are them, wouldn't they guess it must be the same for Betterfly/hawkmoth?! The only logic I can muster is that since they didn't actually discuss this with each other, only with their kwamis, so they must assume it's only their versions of themselves have the same identity
also, if ladybug and chat noir know that they are the shadybug and claw noir of the parallel universe, then logically betterfly's identity is monarch's and they could have just asked him who he was and had a strong lead to defeat monarch. so, plothole?
tbf at this point I’ve learnt that miraculous will never do the very obvious (unless they do and then either reverse time or use it as a “what if” throwaway ep) XD
Technically, they *already* know who Hesperia is, because Gabriel had to detransform to give ladybug the butterfly miraculous at the end of the special. So why did Ladybug and Cat Noir not put two and two together is a smooth brain move. But then again, it was already proven several times in the show that Ladybug and Cat Noir are smooth brains :P
Honestly this is the best special in miraclous by far. Shady bug and claw noir were decently good antagonist. I just wish this didn’t have to be sandwiched in between the premiere of season 5 since I feel it takes away from the characters we already have.
As someone who has since stopped watching cuz I lost interest and all info I get is from you every so often, I'm convinced that the writers are constantly high whenever they're working on this show.
am i literally the only one that noticed this loophole since pretty much all the heroes knew that the villains were themselves in different universes, Ladybug could just ask Good Gabe for his identity so they could unmask their own Gabe, Monarch? that would have been so easy smh....
Ladybug already knew who good Gabe was at the end of the special (he lent her the butterfly miraculous), so it's even more confusing why she didn't put 2+2.
@@greenstarlover1it looked like he detramsformed and left it on the roof, hiding, and left for her to take it (like they usually give miraculous, without revealing their identities)
gabe deep down knew he couldn't risk it: what if they turn good and reveal his identity to ladyB and CNoir ? Or do so literally by mistake during a fight ? Then he'd be toast and he has nothing to gain by helping shadyB and clawNoir as much, he doesn't need that to gain their "trust"
The special was probably one of the best episodes ever that they made.. Adrien actually had a personality once in his life and we got to see him talk about his mother, Mari was actually likeable and they both gave actually good advice to their alt selves, I really liked how ladymoth had little wings in her hair instead of the normal ribbons ( her costumes colors were also very pretty imo )... Overall I really liked it, I wish that the level of writing they showed in this special was shown everywhere else in the miraculous series... But I do wish it was longer - maybe even just turn it into a movie or smth instead of a 40 something minute special ( I also love how they included shots of other universes, seeing other possibilities and seeing that in one of them alya was ladybug was AWESOME! )
I give this special a 8/10. I wish they did show us Marinette’s life in school than telling us. I loved Toxinelle/Shady so much in this. Sadly we can’t get a spin off since it is expensive to make. I wish it was a bit longer to expand on some of their fights. As much as I wanted them to stay as Villains I can understand they had to change to good to save themselves. I can’t wait for One Night Special next year to see Fei & Marinette interact again and maybe Fei making Jess her new friend too. I don’t think the Ladybug powers did erase their minds because they still recognized each orbe and acted all lovey dovey
I’m honestly shocked that Kim wasn’t dragged as hard as Chloe was. Or that Lila wasn’t mentioned to “hype” her atrocious character for when she’s the next Hawkmoth. Would’ve made sense tbh, with all of the terrible retconning in Season 5.
My gut feeling is "The Supreme" is either evil Master Fu or evil Grandmaster Su Han ... and they may well be the one who popped up behind Lila at the end of season 5 ... though if it's an eviler Lila that means there could be two of them in season 6, which is just terrifying
Hey Amanda, People have also summarized that the Supreme might also be Master Fu and Lila, but it could also be Su-Han to, I have theorized that it could possibly be Tomoe Tsurugi because the red emblem what was shown when Emo Marinette tried to summon Gimmi looks a bit like the crest of the Tsurugi Corporation, I wouldn't be surprised though since the Tsurugis due have a history leading all the way back to Feudal Japan and the family would probably have some kind of connection to the Miraculous or some other kind of mystical connection.
as an entomology fan that annoys me so badly… neither butterflies or ladybugs are flies!!! just a pet peeve though. butterbug would also be bad though because neither of them are true bugs either. kill me
I was so pleasantly surprised by this special, I actually teared up. It was refreshing. I loved the designs, the equal screen time of Mari/LB and Adrien/CN, getting an insight into Adrien's thoughts FINALLY, I love BetterFly and Nooro as a whole, just EVERYTHING. It felt like how the show felt in the early days tbh. My only complaints were 1) the continuation of the "Chloe is evil incarnate" propaganda. It's so tiring at this point. 2) Plagg's constant cheese references. He is funny, witty and clever, but recently it feels like the writers have been lazy with his lines. He is more than cheese and he's made funny remarks without mentioning cheese. 3) ShadyBug's hair style going from buns to pigtails. Like, who's decision was that???
The Supreme's voice sounded a lot like Hawk Moth's, in a lower pitch. Though, there already is a counterpart to Hawky in that universe, which makes things quite confusing.
I was all like "Oh that's real nice. 😑" when I found out from Shadybug's breakdown that Chloe was also a d**chebag in her universe, but hey, menysl health is but a mere anomaly in my opinion. The human brain is indeed strange.
Ok honestly HONESTLY I adore Marinette/Shadybug's alternate universe designs ??? Like ????? I adore the red in her hair so much and the buns and just I REALLY LIKE IT But also why does the alternate universe sound more interesting then where the actual show is going LOL honestly I want to write some fanfic about it because I know full well they aint going nowhere else with this
How would Betterfly have even met AU Alya? They have nothing in common and Adrien isn’t even friends with her in that universe. It kinda makes no sense. Even if it did, the optics of a grown man hanging in his basement with a teenage girl is kinda weird😂. Still better than hanging in his basement with the corpse of his wife though. Also, if this is the same basement as in canon, why don’t Shadybug and Claw Noir know who Betterfly is? This is legit underneath the Agreste Mansion!
They are at war my guess is Alya was a reporter that joined the resistance. Because gab is the only one that we see with the miraculous that woke up and rise up they wanted to join so he use them for the greater good
Unpopular opinion: I really like the name "Betterfly" it explains everything we need to know about him, that he is BETTER than Hawkmoth, Shadowmoth, Monarch and every Gabriel form in this universe
Ik this was a really small thing but it kinda bothered me a bit. So in the scene where shady is reading marinette’s diary and Mari is talking abt Adrien and she calls him “my Adrien” and this would’ve been around s1 and I just found it rlly weird. :/
I thought it was pretty obvious in the intro song that Emilie died using the peacock miraculous as we see a scene where it’s zoomed in on the peacock miraculous, and then it zooms out and it was in the hand of a dead Emilie being held by Gabriel while he cries. He looked like he was screaming too.
Also I believe the power that Betterfly had bestowed on Alya in the beginning was like, an omnipresence which connected her to the Series Universe. Before Toxinelle and Claw Noir came through the portal Alt-Alya had been trying to hold them off, couldn't because Nino was held as hostage and used as a bargaining chip. She tells Betterfly and Mari herself that she "can't hold them back any longer" which makes no real sense because why would series Alya be holding anyone back so you just kinda, have to deduce some sort of omnipresence. (And the omnipresence is also later proved at the end when Ladybug gets the same Akuma and uses the powers to stop Monarch, not by traveling but by connecting to her own consciousness there)
This is the type of thing they can make a sequel out of. Have (formerly) Shadybug and Claw Noir come back to ask for their help to overthrow the supreme
i'm not gonna lie, maybe it's because the series has let me down so many times, but this movie actually was very enjoyable compared to the rest of recent miraculous (especially the recent finale) 😭
@@nataliawashington872oh gosh it’s basically the end of the arc with Hawk Moth. Next season will be about Ladybug and Cat Noir going up against another villain(likely to be Lila)
This is going to be a LONG rant, BUT I think all the talk done by the characters about The Supreme in this special is actually going to matter for the future of the show. On my first watch I assumed, like most people, that The Supreme was an evil Master Fu from the alternate world and while that could still be the case, I have reasons to suspect otherwise. Upon rewatch I noticed that the only time The Supreme is being described he's defined as a "being", which I found odd, a being who rules the world and everyone is terrified of, including our alternate heroes Shadybug, Claw Noir and Betterfly. Throughout the special, The Supreme is shown to possess an immense amount of power, as he's able to completely bypass the Miraculous' safety protocols, amplifying their powers, put some sort of seal on the Kwamis' mouths, preventing them not only from speaking, but also to fuse back into Gimmi, while in their unleashed forms might I add, claiming that he is the only one who can define reality and that reality is him. All of these details lead me to believe that The Supreme either is not human, was human but isn't anymore or, at the very least, is so powerful that others don't perceive him as such. From a narrative standpoint, it's also really weird, to me, to leave the entirety of The Supreme plot obscured and up for interpretation, as if it were a setup. This made me think of the Season 5 finale, when Lila equips the Butterfly Miraculous and electricity starts to form, as objects start levitating around her, followed by something or someone, that Lila has to look up for and is frightened by, appears with a bright light. What if that was the show's first appearance of The Supreme? Well, this would work almost perfectly considering where the show left off. Something that has bothered me about the finale is how much Lila is currently outmatched by the protagonists and their allies, since every other Miraculous holder who isn't her is working as a team to bring her down, all with unlimited access to their Miraculous; but if her powers could be amplified by an outer force, per say, then there would be an actual fight to put up. This would give her a reason to want the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous in the first place, as she's never been interested in them, however if she had to fetch them for her mysterious benefactor in return for her power upgrade, which is exactly what The Supreme does in this special by the way, then it would make perfect sense! What I'm, therefore, expecting Lila to become in the upcoming seasons is a worse written version of Catra from She-Ra, for those of you who have seen it, who works Horde Prime, the antagonist who is incredibly powerful and rules over galaxies, who also grants HER more power in exchange for her loyalty and servitude, all because she's motivated by feelings of resentment and jealousy towards the main character.
This special was the best episode of the show I know it’s longer than a episode but for once I SAY FOR ONE SECOND Thomas actually cooked with his character other than marinette
plot twist: The Supreme is Chloe. She is so so soooooooooooevil she changed her voice, became a multidimensional super entity and now rules emo paris with an Iron fist because she is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo evil Or is Thomas Astruc's self insert, that works too
Ok hear me out. If Adrien was a Villian and somehow beat lady bug and got the wish. I can totally see Astruc making Adrien use the wish to bring his mom back and Chloe dies in the process. Also about Supreme, I genuinely wonder how does that work, like why would they trust 2 kids with canonically the strongest miraculouses in the show? And what about the other miraculous in the world like the heroes in America or the dragon like ones in china (I forgot where it was and how to spell it). Are they evil under Supreme? And who else has the other miraculous? I’m 99% sure supreme wouldn’t give it to Chloe, Zoe, Kagami, Luca etc. maybe Kagami’s mom since she is basically the stand in for apple and is popular enough that everyone in the world uses her tech, and either one of Zoe’s parents since they powerful and Andre is the mayor, but that’s it. I have no clue what or who could have the others. It’s a cool concept, kinda, and I am curious if emo Lady bug and cat noir show up again
so since the powerful people are the one with the miraculous in the other universe does that mean that Chloe never got the bee miraculous taken away since her father is the mayor right
Theory: in parallel world where wu didn't make mistakes, the original Miraculous organization became evil. Till today The Supreme is their current evil boss and with unknown identity What 'cha u think?
I thought the Supreme would be Lila too, but the argument for master Fu isn't bad. also, I personally love the name Betterfly and loved good Gabes design, even his normal human form. and one other detail I noticed about Celestecat was he had those angelic lamplight golden eyes, they were comforting to look at so that probably helped. also, I'd like to comfort you by calling out a logical fallacy. just because chloe was a bully in two universes doesn't mean she was a bully in all universes. there is still hope for her!
there's one little thing I was a bit bothered about... like not so much but it just felt odd ok so why was the city so empty during the illusion giants part? like ain't no way not one person saw that and not panic it was so weird!!! like we have this enormous city and we have heroes and villains fighting and things gets destroyed and the fking Eiffel tower literally collapses and THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND!!! like did they forget to add npcs or something??? IT WAS SOOO WEIRD!!!!
Am i the only one who is dissapointed that Shadybug and Claw Noir imediately became nice after Mari and Adrien speech about their families and lives? To me, that part was rushed. Yes Shady read the diary so at least it's more developped but i still find their change of attitude too quick 😐If they were still evil but gradually see that the Supreme can't be trusted and they can change their lives to be happier; it would make sense. Would be more satisfying to see too! Beside that detail, i liked the action; Shadybug's costume and the way she fight; that was cool! Seeing Gabriel has a good person was nice. I won't say this special is better than the others and same for the movie, it's alright.
It makes sense tho? They're talking to versions of themselves who have gone thru the same things. And it's even mentioned how the emo versions weren't told about the wish or how using their powers are destroying them. They're already doubting the Supreme
@@Daisy-ns3qo While I get they're already doubting the Supreme, there is an additional complication Shadybug and Claw Noir are going through that Ladybug and Cat Noir are not. The villains are dying, so their future is in the gutter. This isn't something can be fixed by changing their minds. They had no way of knowing they would get a new lease on life. Thus, they shouldn't have been able to be convinced *that* easily, especially since Betterfly had already explained their home dimension was a dystopia because of the Supreme.
i heard "shadybug thinks that adrian is a slvtty ,stuck up, brat" and i was like "love to see it" HELP ME i heard "catching their breath, eating their kwamis", had to replay like 3 times to hear it right
i love that you talk to us as besties fr you are so chill and pretty and just makes me feel as if im talking to my bestie amazing vid thank you for this love you and thanks for this!😘🥳🥳🥳
Okay, but hear me out. If you remember, at the end of the Miraculous season five finale, Lila is contacted by some mysterious unknown force (the flashing lights). What if the thing that contacted Lila was the other universe's SUPREME LEADER who is ALSO LILA!!!
I bet it’s Su- Han; who was or would be the opposite of worried about who would use the Miraculous for the evil . Who wanted to take the Miraculous away from Cat and Lb at first? Also - Su- preme! Like the Darth Vader of this World! Plus- they say - He- not She. Lilia could have an Antihero type motive?
tbh I kinda have a theory for Lila in the special but I also had a completely different one for her before the special aired - 1. She goes to Marinette's school but doesn't socialize much and focuses on her studies when she first joined. In this universe she's extremely grateful for having been adopted by her mother and doesn't have multiple at a time, even though the mother is purposefully distant, like our world's Gabriel. She's also looked down by her classmates because of her status as a nerd, however she barely expresses a feeling of loneliness. However, there are still some people in school she's quite interested in, Marinette being the one that stands out the most. Since she also barely hangs out with people and is generally disliked, Lila tries to talk to her before she gets shut out. 2. She doesn't transfer to Marinette's school, let alone get educated. She wields the miraculous of the fox given to her by the Supreme and has been using it a few months before shady and claw. Despite this, pretty much nobody knows about her presence, and during the time of s2 she decided to rest from casting illusions. She doesn't join the resistance because she's afraid of defying the authority that continues to provide food, health and shelter for her.
miraculous! fear is a cage! hear the message and serve the cause! miraculous! yes you can change! the power of love will save us all! miraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaculous! MIRACULOUS!
My theory on why Emilie is dead in the emo universe (that is what I’ll be calling it) because I don’t think the peacock miraculous is damaged in the emo universe: Both other gabe and other emilie join supreme, use the butterfly and peacock miraculous for evil, become weak and other emilie eventually dies. Other gabe realizes that this is the reason his wife is dead and if he doesn’t stop he’ll die too and leaves the supreme with his butterfly miraculous (ig the peacock miraculous is with supreme cause supreme took it back after Emilie’s death). Thats when adrien joins supreme to avenge his mother ig cause he didn’t know bout the wish until now. Then it would make sense as to why Gabe has a miraculous even though he himself said that normal people in the emo universe don’t know that miraculouses are a thing and why Emilie is dead
i loved this special sooo much! the heart to heart between marinette and shadybug made me cry and shadybug is such a well written character. she has so much personality i just loved every second she was on screen
My money would be on Master Fu being the Supreme, since in their universe nobody knows the existence of Miraculous and I doubt Lila would, I would personally love to see more of this universe and Evil Master Fu which I think is quite realistic since he already resent his job as the Gardian. !
My sister showed me the special yesterday, since she's more updated on MLB than me (I haven't seen the show in YEARS). It was great and I loved it! I really love plotlines that use "what if" or alternate reality scenarios. So seeing Gabriel being good was... a surprise for sure, but kinda nice. Also the theme song being sung by Gabriel's voice actor (Keith Silverstein) instead... also kinda surprised me but it was actually good. 😄
think the Supreme is Wang Fu because of how it was mentioned that they gave Shadybug and Claw Noir’s miraculouses in the parallel universe while Wang Fu gave Ladybug and Cat Noir their miraculouses in the universe we’re watching
I liked many things about the special, and others less. They did improve on taking things a bit slower instead of certain transitions of events being too abrupt (in my opinion), but there are those moments that make me cringe like when Claw Noir sort of hugged himself and rocked himself to show his sadness. I feel like it was completely out of character, and weird. The body language is extremely on point at times, and others not. Another thing is that, of course it is a different world and things could have different meaning, but someone *can* have an Emo style and be very nice. So the whole emo = evil thing wasn't the best in my opinion. It can feed into stereotypes in our world, so I didn't really like that aspect. However, Shadybug was really great in my opinion. I could literally feel her pain, and relate to her in some ways. Their characters have so much potential (Claw Noir and Shadybug), and I'd love to see their world. Not just that, but gradual character development. They finally understood their hearts weren't on the right side of history, but things don't happen over night. Emotional abuse can bruise you in ways that take time to heal, so I'd love to see the struggles, the healing that isn't linear, and overall development of these characters as they confront their hurt, their trauma, and try to become better themselves while also showing love to every version of themselves (because you don't need to be the best version of yourself to deserve love). They would also know their secret identity, so we might see things we don't see in Ladybug & Cat noir.
3 . Someone try to do somethings to fix somethings and become a bad guy

@@CookieTaiga they never learn broken miraculous = death either slow death or a fast death in nathalies case

You forgot to add Chloe = evil
Honestly I’m so thankful for Amanda just because it reminds me when I need to catch up on Miraculous lore and feed my inner child 😂

She was mentioned in like one sentence
Even in an upside down world, Chloe is still evil 😤, Why can't we have a good Chloe?. Thomas astruc hates Chloe's so much
@@happyblue4940 I mean, it was the natural path to take.
"The Supreme" who owns all the miraculouses and rules the world from the shadows is likely an evil/dark version of Master Fu....

This special really gave Shadybug so much more depth and emotion than Marinette got in five seasons. Like Shadybug is just so much more of a fleshed out character, crazy
I actually didn't think it was that bad, but the missed chat-blanc angst really pained me.
Wdym?
@@minhoe4ever you're all good LOL bunnix protected ladybug from finding out anything too far beyond her mission to free chat blanc, so her memory didn't need to be erased but the marinette from the chat blanc timeline WAS erased you're right. our timelines ladybug does still remember having to save chat blanc but not the whole identity thing, and we see that in that one episode where chat was like "im never gonna get akumatized" and she had a mini flashback to it. you're absolutely right tho the characters are kinda dumb ALL the time and its so silly honestly, this is gonna be another thing added to the massive pile of "if they could process more than a singular thought they would've seen this" 💀💀 gotta love em LOL
ngl the intro with gabe had me hooked, for all of the shows faults it’s still my No.1 guilty pleasure XD
lol I noticed a plot hole. If Claw Noir broke into Gabriel's base (aka his own house), wouldn't he piece together that Betterfly is his own father?????????
Unless the lair isn't located in his own house in that world. Otherwise you're right.
The only logic I can muster is that since they didn't actually discuss this with each other, only with their kwamis, so they must assume it's only their versions of themselves have the same identity
also, if ladybug and chat noir know that they are the shadybug and claw noir of the parallel universe, then logically betterfly's identity is monarch's and they could have just asked him who he was and had a strong lead to defeat monarch. so, plothole?
tbf at this point I’ve learnt that miraculous will never do the very obvious (unless they do and then either reverse time or use it as a “what if” throwaway ep) XD
if they did, bunnix would just appear.
Logically yes, but with multiverse theory they could think that it may only be the case for one of them
Technically, they *already* know who Hesperia is, because Gabriel had to detransform to give ladybug the butterfly miraculous at the end of the special. So why did Ladybug and Cat Noir not put two and two together is a smooth brain move.
But then again, it was already proven several times in the show that Ladybug and Cat Noir are smooth brains :P
@@greenstarlover1 they switched without knowing, he was behind a wall while they did the switch
Honestly this is the best special in miraclous by far. Shady bug and claw noir were decently good antagonist. I just wish this didn’t have to be sandwiched in between the premiere of season 5 since I feel it takes away from the characters we already have.
As someone who has since stopped watching cuz I lost interest and all info I get is from you every so often, I'm convinced that the writers are constantly high whenever they're working on this show.

since pretty much all the heroes knew that the villains were themselves in different universes, Ladybug could just ask Good Gabe for his identity so they could unmask their own Gabe, Monarch? that would have been so easy smh....
That's expecting too much from manchild astruc. You'll hurt his brain
Ladybug already knew who good Gabe was at the end of the special (he lent her the butterfly miraculous), so it's even more confusing why she didn't put 2+2.

The special was probably one of the best episodes ever that they made.. Overall I really liked it, I wish that the level of writing they showed in this special was shown everywhere else in the miraculous series... But I do wish it was longer - maybe even just turn it into a movie or smth instead of a 40 something minute special

My only complaints were
1) the continuation of the "Chloe is evil incarnate" propaganda.
They should do a spinoff show with the au characters and dive into that lore more 🤭

Yeah Marinette is really creepy around adrien
She was always this creepy it was only when the pattern became overwhelming did we call it out.
Why am I kinda sad that she doesn't include how shadybug reacted towards ladybugs mother's kindness
honestly the special had me hooked the moment I heard Gabriel Agreste sing the opening
I think this special is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the season 5 finale and the best special so far honestly
i'm not gonna lie, maybe it's because the series has let me down so many times, but this movie actually was very enjoyable compared to the rest of recent miraculous (especially the recent finale) 😭
I haven’t watched since Chloe’s character assassination, what’s the recent finale
What I'm, therefore, expecting Lila to become in the upcoming seasons is a worse written version of Catra from She-Ra, for those of you who have seen it, who works Horde Prime, the antagonist who is incredibly powerful and rules over galaxies, who also grants HER more power in exchange for her loyalty and servitude, all because she's motivated by feelings of resentment and jealousy towards the main character.
theory: the supreme is emo master fu
White Gabe is an icon when he is doing his job right as a dad and not abuse his goddamn child ❤
This special was the best episode of the show I know it’s longer than a episode but for once I SAY FOR ONE SECOND Thomas actually cooked with his character other than marinette
Seeing Gabriel being nice for 45 minutes straight just felt so.... Ugh
plot twist: The Supreme is Chloe. She is so so soooooooooooevil she changed her voice, became a multidimensional super entity and now rules emo paris with an Iron fist because she is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo evil
Or is Thomas Astruc's self insert, that works too
Can't believe emo universe created a more interesting dynamic for the heroes than the og
It’s a cool concept, kinda, and I am curious if emo Lady bug and cat noir show up again
the miraculous ladybug special was... interesting
so since the powerful people are the one with the miraculous in the other universe does that mean that Chloe never got the bee miraculous taken away since her father is the mayor right
I did not expect to like and even love this special so much!
Theory: in parallel world where wu didn't make mistakes, the original Miraculous organization became evil. Till today The Supreme is their current evil boss and with unknown identity
What 'cha u think?
I thought the Supreme would be Lila too, but the argument for master Fu isn't bad. also, I personally love the name Betterfly and loved good Gabes design, even his normal human form. and one other detail I noticed about Celestecat was he had those angelic lamplight golden eyes, they were comforting to look at so that probably helped. also, I'd like to comfort you by calling out a logical fallacy. just because chloe was a bully in two universes doesn't mean she was a bully in all universes. there is still hope for her!
I like that interpretation about Chloe!

it was so weird!!! like we have this enormous city and we have heroes and villains fighting and things gets destroyed and the fking Eiffel tower literally collapses and THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND!!!
like did they forget to add npcs or something??? IT WAS SOOO WEIRD!!!!
I'm surprised that the movie isn't an alternate universe that we visit. The MCU is doing that with previous non MCU Marvel movies and shows.

Lilia could have an Antihero type motive?
tbh I kinda have a theory for Lila in the special but I also had a completely different one for her before the special aired -
This was the best special I’ve ever watched

Emo representation 🖤

This special was a breath of fresh air for all of us watching miraculous
My money would be on Master Fu being the Supreme, since in their universe nobody knows the existence of Miraculous and I doubt Lila would, I would personally love to see more of this universe and Evil Master Fu which I think is quite realistic since he already resent his job as the Gardian. !
It's called a kumiko
My dumbass right after watching it asked my sister "What are they called? A kuromi?" 😭😭
emily died from the peacock miraculous in that one too since you can see the broach and her outline is similar to miyura.
Omg you are so underrated ❤
If you havent seen or reacted to the office au for miraculous its SO GOOD and i recommend it fully
think the Supreme is Wang Fu because of how it was mentioned that they gave Shadybug and Claw Noir’s miraculouses in the parallel universe while Wang Fu gave Ladybug and Cat Noir their miraculouses in the universe we’re watching
They would also know their secret identity, so we might see things we don't see in Ladybug & Cat noir.
i feel so much for the ppl who were pulling for character development and redemption for chloe, can’t have shit apparently!
I was waiting for your chaotic review
