    Seve, the inspiration why I first picked up a golf club 40 years ago. Long may his memory live on.

    The European tour videos are just brilliant, but there would be no European tour without the magical Seve.

      Seve was the Arnold Palmer of Europe. Golf, beyond Seve’s era, is simply not the same.

    He’s the ultimate warrior. Me against the World type character. Men of the likes of him have changed the world. This one just happened to pick up golf in a country where literally no one did. And so he did. I’m still mesmerized by his accomplishments. Just goes to show what self belief and heart can do for you.

    Blowing smoke up Lee Westwoods ass about the European tour being in his heart hasn't aged well.

    If it weren't for Seve, Europe would never have become the dominant force of the Ryder Cup. Magnificent, el matador

    Just an absolute giant of the game. For anyone who wants to get a real insight into why he was a legend search for the film ‘Seve Artist, fighter, legend’ it’s free on Rakkuten TV. It’s brilliant with lots of unseen videos and interviews. It shows how amazing his career was despite severe back problems from age 14 as well as explaining the sad truth behind his rapid decline in form which we now know was the brain tumour that sadly took his life so young. My ultimate hero who I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of times

    What would Seve think about these players destroying the game by joining LIV tour. He would turn in his grave, if he knew how money is the main influence for these players. Shame on them all.

    • @robertcourt8593

      He'd be turning in his grave about the way the European tour has sold out to the pga tour.

    • @GaryM67-71
      @GaryM67-71 ปีที่แล้ว

      The players are earning their living, they can play where they like. Seve had many financial battles with the European Tour, they didn't get along so well a lot of the time, he would applaud players acting as free agents, and he would likely roll his eyes at the disrespect shown to the likes of Stenson (robbed of Ryder Cup captaincy), and I expect the dickheads at the European tour will rob Sergio and Lee Westwood of the chance to be captains too, out of hubris. Shame on them. Your comment was not well thought-out at all.

    • @GaryM67-71
      @GaryM67-71 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Seve was not always a fan of the Tour, in fact I recall he fought them several times.@@robertcourt8593

    Golfers are like robots now. No charisma or personality on the course anymore. Very few show any emotions even when they hit good or bad shots. Seve wore his heart on his sleeve and held nothing back. Guys like Mcilroy don't have the same intensity, just give up easy and on to the next round.
