    Excellent demo. I have found that when working with smaller blades a pebble with one straight edge or length works better because you can back the blade easier. I definitely prefer a hammer stone, but sometimes you need to use wood or antler billets. I have found artifacts that defy things that we think our standard and people just knocked them out quick to use them fast.

    I have a hammer stone, every side is worked like that, with a hole in the center.
