In his series, The Last Vampire, a character named Seymour kind of portrays Pike's life. He's an author who writes horror/romance stories, and he loves being a writer, and he enjoys the money and the excitement of it all, but he's never made a public appearance, or has he ever used his real name in publishing his books. I think Pike is trying to express himself through Seymour, in a way of explaining himself to his audience. He's got one sexy mind, and I'd love to meet him.
I am a hardcore Christopher Pike fan starting something like 20 years ago, and I almost fell over when you thought you were actually going to see him! I was bouncing up and down in my seat with a stupid smile on my face- I'm glad nobody could see me. I felt your disappointment too when he wasn't at the panel. I've always been frustrated with how little I'm able to find out about him. The interviews with the people you did find were all people I was totally on the same page with too. I don't per
Remember Me and The Starlight Crystal are my favourites...he skyrocketed me into spiritualism. He wrote about about EVERYTHING. Also - I remember reading every book was SO exciting, so NOTHING was like the back cover said. It became like tearing opening a present every single time. Thank you, Captain Pike.
I have read Christopher Pike's book throughout my adolescence! The only thing I am sad about is that I see none of his books turning into movies. These are masterpieces. And each one of them should be made into a movie. Especially the last Vampire series should be made into an adult movie. It will be an instant hit.
loved Christopher Pike in high school. graduated more than 20 years ago and still think about those books. went to my local library recently. could not find him on the shelves. its so sad.
I waited with bated breath for the cold one 2 and a prequel to season of passage. My favorite books of all time. I loved his adult books but they’re written just like his YA, quite sophisticated and deep.
So nice knowing that I'm not the only one that grew up with Mr. Pike. Im 38 and still love to go back and reread his books. The Last Vampire is definitely my favorite, love the series and was pretty stoked when I found out recently he wrote 3 more books in the series. The Midnight Club series on Netflix has been pleasantly surprising in how well its made, didn't even know about it until I saw it on Netflix 3 nights ago
Read so many of his books in high school :) (Close to 20 in total). My first Pike book was The Last Vampire, which I read at about 12 or 13...which is no doubt far too young for that series lol. Pike's books never fail to scare and surprise me.
This is a nice documentary. I remember joining a fan site back in the day. The Midnight Club. I picked the name Mark Forum. I even self-published a novel under that pen name. In short to say Christopher Pike really affected me then, and I guess now.
I stumbled on this video and wondered if any Midnight Clubbers had posted. I was Jennifer Wagner in TMC. Some of us still stay in touch but don’t talk about Pike often.
I like Christopher Pike, he is very creative and he has a random imagination but I love it. He is my number one favorite author because he doesn't seek fame and he is very MYSTERIOUS. :)
My first Christopher Pike book was Remember Me and that drew me in and then I read more. My favourite Christopher Pike series is The Last Vampire and it is absolutely amazing. All his books have complex and fascinating background information, like about the characters and the whole plot. I love ALL his books and he is definitely my favourite author. :)
One of the only good things I have to say about Twilight is that I think it really helped get the Last Vampire novels back out there, because I thought I'd never find the sequels and suddenly... So good to see Pike's books getting attention again, though. I've read Bury Me Deep alone about 50 times.
My friend introduced me to these novels when I was in my sophomore year of high school so like 2011ish and this was beyond the craze over his novels in the 80’s and 90’s, but the few books I read are my favorite to this day and the only way you can buy the older ones (as far as I can tell) is through second hand shops, but I love them soo much!
I had never herd of him before but this spiked my internist enough to google him . I do not know if you have found this or given up the search before it was written but I copied and pasted this from Wikipedia:" Christopher Pike is the pseudonym of American author Kevin Christopher McFadden" their are also photos of him on wiki as well
Natar McD it’s been six years since you wrote this but I actually trying to get all of his old original books. I’ve had luck on eBay finding them in adorable lots or by themselves. Some single books are only $3.99 with free shipping.
I to am a really big Pike fan... It's frustrating that he never does book signings or interviews. He does have a screen name though. CPike2 on AOL. I've had some really good conversations with him through out the years(many of them saved cause i'm a dork like that) so I encourage you to message him if you see him on. He probably wont respond because he's really busy, but keep trying, keep bugging him. He owes us a convo every now and then ;)
Fuck twilight. I kinda enjoyed reading it in the beginning but on the long run it was disastrous to the future of movies shows and books. WTF is it with vampires?

I wrote a letter to Christopher Pike
In junior high and I got an autographed bookmark back. Best moment of my life lol.
Envious! Does he still write letters?
Christopher Pike was overshadowed by R.L. Stine. He was highly underrated and my favorite author.
The Haunted Library seriously overshadowed and underrated.
Well sadly it's true.
He was so underrated. I read his books a lot more than i did R.L Stines. I loved Spellbound and The Final Friends Series.

There was one film adaption.
The Midnight Club and The Season of Passage are both getting adapted!!!! Hopefully they start a trend
I just watch the Midnight Club on Netflix 😊

He helped me escape a toxic home. Reading his books was my refuge. Possibly contributed to my profession.

It's too bad you couldn't find him, I actually was blessed to haver a conversation with him on AiM once, it was pretty cool.

The Storyteller's Shipyard I remembered your name from there!!
I stumbled on this video and wondered if any Midnight Clubbers had posted. I was Jennifer Wagner in TMC. Some of us still stay in touch but don’t talk about Pike often.
Christopher Pike is a mystery.
I like Christopher Pike, he is very creative and he has a random imagination but I love it. He is my number one favorite author because he doesn't seek fame and he is very MYSTERIOUS. :)

The Starlight Crystal
My favorite of his books and one of my all time favorite books in general

Fun fact on Wikipedia Christopher pikes real name is Kevin McFadden
My favourite book to this day is Midnight Club. Remember Me was good as well.
Yvonne L those ARE THE BEST. My favorites as well. I cried when Shari died. And Illonka as well. I’m 37 I love those to this day.
Road to Nowhere is another amazing one in the same vein...
Oh and Whisper of Death
One of the only good things I have to say about Twilight is that I think it really helped get the Last Vampire novels back out there, because I thought I'd never find the sequels and suddenly...

(continued) sonally know anyone who loves Christopher Pike the way I do. Thanks for putting this up. I really had fun watching.

You are welcome! Belated thanks for watching! You hear about the Last Vampire movie?
He wrote dream sequences in a very interesting way. I liked the book Spell bound and the Vampire series.

@@faith4jesus You can also find a lot of them on amazon. I recently bought some.
I loved him.
first CP novel was Whisper of Death! love his books.
He really is a recluse and doesn't want to be bothered, like Thomas Pynchon.
Oh wow, I don't know how you found that but I'm going to check it out. I haven't been online in ages, sorry on the delayed response :-/
The books are for adults, that's why it's called the young "adult" genre.
I to am a really big Pike fan... It's frustrating that he never does book signings or interviews. He does have a screen name though. CPike2 on AOL. You and me both. I grew up reading his books.
I decided to ask chat GBT what it knew about Christopher Pike and it told me that Christopher Pike is a pen name. His name is actually Kevin McFadden!

Because we all read this when we were your age.

I thought Pike died?
He ain't passing away until the complete Thirst series is released. I've waited 10 years. Btw he's only 68.
Where the fuck is nemi though
Christopher Pike was a no show?!
Or

Interesting that you all assume Christopher is a man… and only one person.
@youngweebert well, let's trade! Lol
What.ever.
He’s no R.L Stine🤷🏻♀️
You’re right. He was FAR SUPERIOR. (Pike) Goosebumps n Fear Street were good.
