Barnstorming movie, as with all the dollar trilogy. Van Cleef is excellent. These movies spawned a trend that produced some excellent spaghetti westerns. Once upon a time in the West being a prime example. And of course the hillarious spoofs including the Trinity collection.

There's a raw quality about these westerns that make them entirely unique and one of a kind. Even today, they make for good watching. Although the fact that everyone's just jumping, rolling and hold their bodies when being shot didn't age well, especially when being shown in higher quality. In some cases it works, but at close-ups it kinda doesn't

NO-ONE else got the reference, apart from a couple also from Dublin. We ended up getting (yes, buying) a DVD of Dollars More and watched it on board the next day - BRILLIANT! Still a superb movie in a superb trilogy. They sure don't (want to) make 'em like this anymore, alas.
quite simply put the best western trilogy out there. This and The Sabata Trilogy are my favourite Italian westerns. Strange how the Spaghetti westerns made stars of people like lee van cleef who got more respect in europe than his own country as an actor.
Absolute MASTER CLASS ..... Today when the film industry is so much technically advanced still they never make any film like this.... Photography Story Acting Music and Total Filming is such a High Level that only a True Artist can do that... Hats off to all the Artist and The entire Unit of this FILM.
67 here and the first time I saw the good the bad the ugly was when I was 12 or so. At that time it was mesmerizing. I watched it again a few years ago and it still blew me away. I’ve been a major Clint Eastwood fan for the past 54 years and still going strong.
For a Few Dollars More...where the good guys turn out to be bad, and the bad guys even worse. This grisly tale smells like a sweaty armpit. The casting is excellent. Even the 2nd tier and the extras are complimentary. You could be watching a true story. The sets, the props, cinematography are exceptional. Finally, the music is without a doubt perfectly suited. This is a western done right by Italians.
“I never get tired of this movie, “never.” The music is just the type of thing that compliments and holds it’s own inside of an epic timeless hit of audio and visual. TOP LIFE to you all here.
Even my 5 year old daughter has watched both movies dozens of times over and over again. That just sums up it all up and i first saw the movies over 50 years ago . They are legends.
Gian Volante- so perfect for these roles. That face. The humming and whistling at the start, where the rider is gunned down- I say it's Colonel Mortimer (Lee van Cleef) bringing down another wanted crim. He does this so well. Awesome soundtrack from Ennio Morricone, as usual.
Now I understand why I waste so much time trying to find good westerns........when you watch the benchmark classic, it is just to tough too match, well another Friday morning in the U.A. E. with this great epic... I wish all Clint's Movies where on YT.

This movie is the best "Western Movie in my life". When I was a high school student, I have watched it thousand times. My favourite is the last scene, Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Gian Maria Volonte who are the most beautiful actors at that time are glaring at each other before shooting with Ennio Morricone's beautiful music. NO NEED ANY COMMENT ABOUT THIS. This movie is the best. Sorry for the fans of John Wayne and anti-Macaroni Western fans.

My father told me of the trilogy of the man with no name. I managed to get it for him about 20 years ago for Christmas. The first movie wasn't translated in French. We ended up watching all three together over 3 weekends. There's been a lot of great movies around that time and after But even having watched Unforgiven and Tombstone years prior, it took me watching this movie to fall in love with westerns and appreciate the other movies I mentioned
The beginning with the lion roaring. I love these films, grew up as a child at my uncle's house where this was utter contentment. The feature presentation of a film track to my life. Certain songs will take you back to a certain place and time in an instant. These films are all that and more. So, back to that lion roaring, you know what is missing? The run up tune. If anyone else is old enough to remember the lion seems lonely without it... C'mon Mick....

5:30 During an escorted (coach) tour of America some years ago (Route 66, if memory serves) , as were were approaching it, I stood up (yes, I had my recently-purchased cowboy hat on) and said "This coach will stop at Tucumcari".
First saw this over fifty years ago. Classics like this never age.
This is the best movie😍
Lee Van Cleef was really a legend. He was whole of cinema not simply and merely an actor. My late father used to call him Nose Pulling actor.
Really enjoyed watching this classic movie thank you youtube for making it free to watch
I always come back to watch this classic legend Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood is the best. Always. Never seen better in my lifetime. Ace of western.
Simple. Yet excellent.
Old. Yet still fresh.
Made with constraints on money. Yet BRAVO!!!!
Absolute MASTER CLASS ..... Today when the film industry is so much technically advanced still they never make any film like this.... Photography Story Acting Music and Total Filming is such a High Level that only a True Artist can do that... Hats off to all the Artist and The entire Unit of this FILM.
👍
Thank you for this excellent post. 50 plus years later still being watched, still original, still the best!
So let me get this right...you let your 5-year old daughter repeatedly watch a film that is rated 15 minimum, X maximum? Great parenting...
@@Penguin_of_Death you can’t call someone a bad parent
In the Classic roadshow movie, Clint had a small role in ''Paint your Wagon'' ca 1970
Clint is pushing 100---one of the oldest living aqctors
@@alexshatzko1381he's 93 years old and still going to make one last movie apparently, I hope so.
My favourite pair Clint Eastwood and Lee van Cliff far back in 70s even today I feel young watching my favorite Western movies.
Ennio moricone's music is life of the movie
It certainly is!
It's a pity he didn't do the same for 'Once upon a Time in America', that sucks. Worst score EVER, imho.
🤮🤧🤕

Dave Harris you’re wrong, you’re an idiot, you’re a liar and horrible.
Now I understand why I waste so much time trying to find good westerns........when you watch the benchmark classic, it is just to tough too match, well another Friday morning in the U.A. E. with this great epic... I wish all Clint's Movies where on YT.
A Big Thanks for showing an Absolute All Time Classic, Great.
❤ best movie ever , these guys r legends. My clint films marathon is never a disappointing experience.
*Clint Eastwood is a Legend of all times of Hollywood Movies. There is or there will be no one like him ever again. Hearty Respect to you, Sir Clint Eastwood, You are the real Hero.*
Thanks for the great movie!! Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood who are excellent performance!!!
Eastwood and Van Cleef. It doesn't get any better than this!
Absolutely yes, and add Leone, Kinski and the great Gian Maria Volonté El Indio, one of the greatest Italian actors ever
I loved watching these with my departed Dad. He loved them & I got to love all the spaghetti westerns too. lee van cleef was always my favourite though. lol
Of The Trilogy, This is My Favorite.
How do the baddies stay on the wagon at the end? Always gets me haha!! Great westerns with Clint never get tired of watching…. Nothing nowadays compares to these and one or two others of the period 60’s-70’s…magic
It was.Clint while all this was happening.
One of my favourite films of all time. I especially liked the scenes with Lee Van Cleef and the hunchback.
The two best western stars in the same movie.
Legend has it Who's still watching this Classic of Clint Eastwood after 55 years is already dead.
Imagine how much JOY Sergio Leone's dollars trilogy has given people through time.
Also, imagine how brutal these movies must have been 60 years ago!
As fresh as ever even after 53 years. Music is ultimate
That’s exactly what she said. Barry White and some red wine. But it wasn’t that fresh after 53 years. A bit clammy, sort of say.
Gosh! fifty one years ago I fell in love with Clint Eastwood and I still love the guy!! Just love ALL his movies, he has special magic no other actor of movies have..keep on big guy! Thanks for posting.
Yeah go to Madison County
Hi
I watched this film so Manu Times ,but every time is the first time .The film is that piece of music that you listen again and again and never getting enough of IT . A puur work of art .
MAMCO lives in WHITROCK BC CANADA---RETIRED
Simply the best. RIP Lee. What a legend!
Lee Van Cleif was the big star at this time Clint was the young riser ❤😊
I love western movies since I was a child...thanks God I moved to Texas and I had a chance to see real Cowboys riding horses ...God bless texas and morocco
Gian Maria Volonte was a very underrated actor. One of the best in the world. I don't think he's got all the credit he deserved.
He's appreciated by his fan's. Fuck what the rest of the world thinks.
One of the greatest actors ever, his magnetic presence is amazing in so many leading roles: Investigation of a citizen above suspicion, The working class goes to heaven, We still kill the old way, Todo modo, Sacco & Vanzetti, Open Doors...
Yes. He did a fine role here.
I saw this movie when I was young now at 75 i am still enjoying it excellent move ever fresh.
An amazing musical score for all three films.
My father told me of the trilogy of the man with no name. I managed to get it for him about 20 years ago for Christmas. The first movie wasn't translated in French.
We ended up watching all three together over 3 weekends.
There's been a lot of great movies around that time and after
But even having watched Unforgiven and Tombstone years prior, it took me watching this movie to fall in love with westerns and appreciate the other movies I mentioned
Manco
fifty something years later these films are timeless.
I can't explain why I like Clint Eastwood.
But I think he is the best.
We will never see films like these with actors like these anymore.clint eastwood and lee van cleef legends.
💯 correct
The beginning with the lion roaring. I love these films, grew up as a child at my uncle's house where this was utter contentment. The feature presentation of a film track to my life. Certain songs will take you back to a certain place and time in an instant. These films are all that and more. So, back to that lion roaring, you know what is missing? The run up tune. If anyone else is old enough to remember the lion seems lonely without it... C'mon Mick....
The acting is superb (of course).
And…
Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone…what a film-making duo. Geniuses.
Wow, how has this not been taken down? Clear 720p and it isn’t slowed down, there’s no ads or nothing. It’s been up for 4 years.
shhhhhhhhh haha don't jinx it ;)
Shhhhhhhhh! Don't tell them,!
All time classic western and the best of the triology. RIP Lee Van Cleef RIP Ennio Morricone.
