We visited Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mauritius, South Africa & Tenerife. A really smart idea to keep the post cards for many many years to come would be to get a laminator (small personal ones on Amazon)! Laminate them then they are safe from any liquids, dust, etc.
I absolutely love the postcard idea! I love journaling, but sometimes it’s too much, especially on a busy trip. This is a great way to take a snapshot of the trip or place you visited and keep along with your photos! Can’t wait to implement this idea in my travels.

All of your souvenirs are adorable! I also love getting postcards from places I visit and might copy the idea of writing a little diary entry on the back. I also have dozens of key rings from places I visit, even in the UK and I’ve had to take them off my keys I have that many! But it brings me so much joy looking and them and thinking of all of my trips and holidays.
Shelly Mae might have to be my favourite; I was a bit disappointed with the plush selection they had in WDW in May but I feel HK Disneyland had so many!

Loved that you got so many soft toys. I have a collection of bears from every cruise ship I’ve been on as well as far too many plushies from other places I’ve visited (they take up half of a small single bed 😂). Makes me feel better knowing I’m not the only 30 year old collecting!

I’d use the basket for taking cans and snacks etc. to the beach hut, or for taking bits for a day out to and from the car. You’d be surprised how handy a basket is for a few water bottles and cans of Pepsi Max; it makes them so much easier to carry and access compared to a bag! You could even use it for picnics or picky bits in the park. 🧺

a bunch of etsy sellers make the ear savers key ring thing. Also your birthday gift from Hong Kong Disneyland is some wash cloths that are rolled to look like a cake. The duffy and friends turtle was kinda created as a mascot for Disney's hotel in Hawaii.

This is such a fun video, Brogan. For a 60-day trip, I really don't think you bought that many items to bring home. I have so much fun going on all your adventures with you & Benji. A couple of ideas for you....
* the Duffyears with captain hat keychain. You could hang it on your tree as a reminder of your honeymoon.
The white bum bag. Do they sell Oxiclean in the UK? If so, soak the bag over night in oxiclean and then wash.
If they sell Scotchguard I the UK, spray it all over the bum bag and strap. It will protect from future stains.

I was really hoping you were gonna make this video! Going through souvenirs once you are home is just so much fun. For you guys it’s Pins. For us it’s magnets. I don’t like regular magnets but TRAVEL MAGNETS is my weakness. My husband and kids all know anytime we go anywhere or do anything we are NOT leaving without our magnets. 🤣🖤

What amazing memories from your trip, thank you. You have given me the fabulous idea for our 6 week trip to the UK in September with the postcards. Loved the way you used the postcards to capture the memories! Maybe put them in a book/album with plastic sleeves for an easy way to store and flip through, see the postcards and read the memories!

Great haul! I also tend to purchase a ton of key chains. I now use mine as Christmas ornaments on my " travel" tree.

I do enjoy a good souvenir haul. It’s the only exciting thing once you’ve reached back into the uk and the holiday blues set in. When I got back from Krakow in March, i was looking forward to checking out everything I bought 🤣 even when most of it was for other people. I love your pins!

When I was your age I collected many of the same things you showed today. But now, I’m in my 70’s, still traveling extensively but have stopped buying so much. However, as you mentioned, often times Christmas ornaments are not available. I now collect key chains of the various countries and they make excellent ornaments-ready to hang with the ring and quite the conversation piece. Keep loving your travels. I’ll be in Southampton next month to board the Regal Princess for a British Isles cruise! Happy travels!

Loved seeing your souvenirs. My faves were the Starbucks mugs - such lovely designs and colours, the crochet bee keyring, so cute, the Bondi Beach pin and the star bead Christmas decoration. oh and I also loved the white, cross-shoulder bag - looked great with all your outfits, no wonder it got grubby though. It was funny seeing your growing realisation at how many keyrings you'd bought.
