I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I've been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I've qualified for seven MLF Championships and won over a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.

Just placed my order for all 3 sizes of the TUSH from Core Tackle, I already have all the Hover Rig sizes. Just coming back from 4 yrs fighting Acute Myloid Leukemia & Stem Cell Transplant complications but I should be hitting the water soon. Tournament fished all over & just bought the Daiwa Steez rods, G. Loomis Edge Black Widow & Silver Widow rods, Trika rods, tons of new tackle and can't wait to get back out there with my increased arsenal for tournament fishing. About 31 rods rigged up so it should be fun!

I fish in some Potomac river creeks around hoodbridge and the majority of bass I’ve catching have been on a zoom salty magnum trick worm, color watermelon red. Thanks for the content I’ll try to use some of them. I’m headed down to Kanes creek this weekend.

Liked your bait run down and decisions. You had to fish where you had confidence in. Good to hear your still in the hunt. Positive mental attitude will get you there. So I fish Cayuga lake in August this year. Read last night they had a tournament last Saturday. Winners had over 33 pounds of smallmouth with the largest over 9 smallest was 5.6 that was impressive new state record

With the black/ blue Pit Boss catching you fish wonder if the black/blue General with the blue tip tail would of worked for you also. They also have a black with blue tip tail. I thought for sure when you said you had a O ring ready that it was for the purple worm you can never find always sold out. There were two tournaments won first of the year on a BPS Stick O in black/blue with a blue tip Texas rigged. Did the blue LC crank bait catch you any fish? I have some of your Tush baits coming and can’t wait to try those out. Good luck on the next one. Sure would like to see you next year on the BPT and winning AOL, your a class act!

What ewg hook do you use for the 3” pit boss. I got 2/0 gami superlines but they barely fit.
If you’re inclined I would suggest trying a 12’ leader of 30lb daiwa j flouro leader material for punching big tungsten in the slop. I use an fg knot to connect to my 30lb powerpro. The past 2 years I have always outfished buddies using straight braid. It is quieter and yo-yo’s in the cover better. All I know is I trust the results now. And I am a punching junkie. There’s almost always one on deck here in WI in the summer😉 Great job at the Potomac too, I may just have to head to Lacrosse for the last one.

I think you mean mallows bay, good area, your the professional I'm barely an amateur. I watch all your videos. That being said, I do really well with Zoom pumpkin fire lizards. And I wacky rig whites and pearls. Good luck, you'll get the next one.
