Chelsea Super-Five Radio Series - Part 4 - 1927 Deluxe Model Restoration

The Chelsea Radio Company 1927 Deluxe Super-Five was a metal chassis Super-Five that would become their last commercially viable "Super-Five" TRF Receiver. While most of the upgrades from the 1926 model year are cosmetic, there are some important electrical upgrades as well. This particular restoration went really well, and there a few challenges that were addressed. The faceplate gets an overhaul, the chassis maintains it's original paint, and everything is restored to perfect working order. This model is the end result of a Super-Five evolutionary process that started in 1925.
