Yeah, comics have lost a generation to manga. Like they said in the article, if they were deliberately destroying DC they couldn't have done a better job.
As it stands, I cannot foresee ever going back to DC Comics or any comics, after 45 years, I have enough. BUT, competent stories and complementary art, an end to variant covers, and just an overall respect for everything involved from beginning to end, might make me curious enough.
Brutal man. Manga is a big seller. I go every week to the book store. There is always people at the manga section.

I think that's going to be the position of a lot of fans. Many will not return even if DC tried to win them back.
