As I recall from Shadows of Mindor, Kar Vastor told Luke he was unlike any other Jedi he had ever met. For unlike Mace Windu and the others, Luke didn't fear the dark side.
Ah, a Windu fan boy. Windu feared falling to the dark side the same way all Jedi do, he formed Vapaad because had he not he would have fallen himself. Like Dooku, Windu had an actually hatred of the dark side, and like Dooku part of that hatred was self loathing because they both had a natural dark side affinity. Every person who learned Vapaad fell to the dark side except Windu, who arguably died before he was able to do so. Yes, Windu feared his own darkness. Yes, he feared falling like his student and his friend. Yes, he knew that could happen. And yes, he apparently was smarter than you, if you think that a man as angry as Windu was immune to the call of the dark side. Honestly, no one cares how much you like the character or how you feel Vapaad should work. In cannon, Windu is literally the only person who doesn't fall to the dark side by using Vapaad, and his reasons for developing it in cannon are "as a way to control his own darkness". Make of that what you will, but when you're wrong on the internet the internet WILL tell you.
"Balawai" , meaning "Down folk", was the Korunnai term for everyone who came to settle Haruun Kal after them, because the city of Pelek Baw was established at a much lower altitude than the Korunnai Highlands. I don't recall any indication that it was a specific species. I'm 98% sure everyone Mace interacted with once he left the city seemed to be human, with aliens only mentioned within the city. Also, while Mace was indeed an orphan, his Ghosh was not finally wiped out (except for him and Kar) until the Clone Wars. Unless I am very much mistaken, they were still around when Mace first returned to Haruun Kal as a teenager (and told the tales that later inspired Kar to create the Akk Guard) ... and if Mace is being literal that Kar is half his age, and Mace is indeed about 50 in the Clone Wars (if memory serves, he does reflect in the novel that his teenage visit was over 30 years beforehand) then that would mean Kar hadn't been born back then. If I remember correctly, Mace's estimation of Kar's power and potential is coloured by, and limited to, where they are. On Haruun Kal, Kar's connection with the jungle; his oneness with Pelekotan, is what makes him so much more dangerous. Anywhere else, he wouldn't seem so overwhelming. He'd still have "prodigious potential" as Cronal puts it, but there's no indication when Luke faces him on Mindor that he's as overpowered as he had seemed on Haruun Kal.
Also I think people in the comics are misunderstanding something. Power in the force and oneness with the force are two different things. Oneness with the force seems like power but that’s only the first layer. Castor could communicate with nature on a level no other Jedi could aside from probably Yoda. I think anakin and Vastor were probably equal but coming from two different sides. Anakin learned how to become a Jedi and mastered it. Vastor was a literal force of nature.

I once read a fan fiction that neatly tied how this could be incorporated into the new films, and it went a little like this. Revenge of the Sith - As Kar Vaster sat in prison he sensed in the force a powerful shift and that his brother was in immediate danger. Despite his differences with his Mace he was still blood, and with his immense force power Kastor used this opportunity to escape from prison, to aid his brother. However, when he arrived he was to late Mace had been ejected through the window and was falling to his doom. Kastor interceded and taking he's broken brother hid and nursed him to health. Using the force and Jedi mind tricks Kastor gets his brother off world, end heads to the outer rim or wild space. - Palpatine was a bit disturbed when the clone patrols could not confirm the body of Mace Windu. Nonetheless, this concern vanished as he knew Windu had been defeated and was no longer a significant threat just as Yoda wasn't In between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope - As Mace recovers, now far from the Emperor's grasp he telepathically communes with Yoda. Yoda informs him that the Jedi have a hope in Anakin's children. Mace fiercely disagrees and believes the plan foolish. He reiterates that had Yoda listened to him Anakin would have never been trained and this situation avoided. This harsh disagreement leads to a falling out between the 2 Masters, as Mace thinks no Skywalker can be trusted. - In light of his disagreement with Yoda, Mace believes the Jedi need to change and so he with the help of Kastor create a new order that would be "Gray Jedi" Yoda strongly objects to this creation of the order and both go separate ways. - Windu begins training Kastor to harness his potential. The plan is to build their power in secret just as the Sith did and then in quick strike kill Palpatine and Vader. A New Hope - Windu hears word of the Rebels but feels they won't be enough to stop the Empire. He continues remaining in the shadows building his secret gray Jedi powerbase. Even after the deathstar has been destroyed Mace does not believe it is enough. Meanwhile Kastor grows in power. Empire Strikes Back - Windu reached out to Yoda who informs him of Luke Skywalker being trained. Infuriated Mace severs communication with Yoda as he feels this will end in disaster. He continues training his group of JEdi and his brother now for the preparation of having to slay Luke too as he believes Luke will turn to the darkside. Return of the Jedi - Mace feel his group of Jedi are nearly ready for the task ahead of him. He feels that he, his brother and followers are powerful enough to face off against Palpatine and Vader. While final preparations are being made to reveal themselves the Battle of Endor occurs and Palpatine and Vader fall. Shocked by this Mace still doesn't trust Skywalker and wants to wait for sometime to see how he acts before revealing himself. However, Mace would not get this luxury as an alien force from outside the galaxy begins it invasion into the outer rim. This foe is formidable and possibly an even greater threat than the Sith. Mace and his order ally with the Chiss and quietly begin to combat this threat. Meanwhile, the rest of the galaxy remains unaware of this imminent threat. The Sequels - During the fight with the alien invasion force, the enemy employed tactics that inhibited Mace and the others to get outside help from the rest of the galaxy. This means that the events of the sequel happen without his and his Jedi's knowledge. By the end of the Sequels Mace's Jedi and local allies seemed to have won the war, but to their horror they realize it's only the beginning as the main invasion fleet arrives into the system. During the Sequels Mace passed and his aging brother Kar Vastor was the one to stop the immediate alien invasion force. With the immediate alien invasion force defeated this allowed an opening in communications and travel so that one of Kar Vastor trusted Jedi could go out into the main galaxy and request help from the republic and other forces. New Sequels - The New Sequels would be about the galaxy fighting against this Alien force that calls itself the Yuuzhan Vong.

Great job summarizing that Novel into a 14 min. video. I work long hours and recently started to use audible to help me get through the day. This was one the Novels. (I got to admit though they used did kind of sound like Samuel L. Jackson.) That being said they did jam a lot of info about Windu in their, particularly without this Novel I would of never known he kept a journal

This is very interesting story. I like this. Tragic life but very powerful. Had good end. Good story. I think he's not near level of Yoda or Mace. It's good Windu had such great challenge. As Master Yoda would never consider surviving a fight to be a failure, the line "I have failed." In SW3 was a ruse statement. He knew that Palpatine could read voices through the force. His hope was that Palpatine would grow overconfident with his "win".
Great video and I love this channel, but why did it keep showing axes when talking about Kar's shields? In the book it says that his weapons were teardrop shaped shields, but razor sharp. So they didn't look anything like axes.
It makes sense considering the child of two Force users are generally more powerful than their parents in the Force. With all of the planet's humans being Force sensitive it makes sense he'd be an OP Force user
Soncerely sometimes I think this guy have some problems with text interpretation. Windu never puts Kar Vastorin the same level of power of Yoda and Anakin, he reckon that give his abilities his midichlorian count should be off the charts like it was on Yoda or Anakin, but without the training and discipline of a Jedi or Sith having such a high midichlorian count could only get someone so far. As Mace Windu says in the novel, a Jedi answer to raw power is skill, and despit losing to Vastor, on their gist fight, before being knocked out, Windu gives Vastor the beating of his life. The whole theme of thee novel was Windu reflecting on his own part initiating it, he starts of admiring that had he killed Dooku right away, he would have prevented the war, but he could not cold bloddedly kill someone he considered a close friend. Yet at that moment on th Gonosis Arena he knew Dooku was the Shatterpoint of the whole CIS, eliminate it and the separatist movement would crumble, but instead he extended his blade to Jango Fett. Depa Billaba goes as far as saying the reason the war was dragging on was that since the Jedi were keepers of the peace they went to Gonosis to save a senator and two of their own, when a good strategist would just explode the arena with a Baradium bomb and kill the entire separatist leadership with a senator and two Jedi as unfortunate collateral effects. Windu is faced with many situations where it is Cristal clear how powerful he was, but he often states that in many situations, someone like Yoda or Anakin, could just use a brute force approach with their force powers because they have too much midichlorians, and to so one like Windu, not as gofted with such a raw connection, he had to aconplish the same by expert use of skill. Which is also how Vaapad works, as he says, Vaapad isn't a lightsabe style Vaapad is a state of mind, and he don't have to use a lightsabe to use it, he just need to expert apply his extremely honed skill. This is why he also states that both Depa Billaba and Sora Bulk did not mastered Vaapad, but Vaapad mastered them instead. Also Mace refused the idea he and Vastor were related due to tribal traditions, he clearly denies Vastor compliment as a his Tribal Brother, stating that his bothers and sisters were the Jedi.

The vibró shields can cut other vibró shields. Mace windu basically tricked him because he pulled the shield from behind, kar knew there was a threat so tried to stop it, but it went through the shields. Honestly not dissimilar from the idea of him beating Sidious by breaking the window so Sidious had to spend some of his power had to be used keeping his balance.

Yes. Because he basically tricked him. He can’t beat him by skill or power so pulls a shot at him from behind. Kenobi does the same to Anakin but instead of trickery he just is smarter.

In the story itself we see mace windu can beat him despite being weaker. More power has never meant there was certain victory. Anakin only further proves that by his loss to kenobi.
While I don't mind there being other organizations or even singular force beings around the SW galaxy, I agree the OP characters can become a bit exhausting. I see this as lazy writing. I've said many times, it's easy to write an OP force character, as you can give them a massive power to make them a challenge for a Jedi. It's a bit more difficult to come up with a story with other scenarios to challenge a Jedi or Sith. Oh, and now we can add Luke Skywalker to be a savior to this person. Using his power and skill to add more to the story. Because of course, only Luke will have the capability. It's lazy. Not at all creative, such as the Yuuzhan Vong stories. Where there is actually good intrigue and depth.
Real lazy but it is what it is, living through soo much loss makes it easier to relinquish connection, in order to preserve what good is left if any remains. I can feel everything and I'm not blind so I've been mentally physically and emotionally prepared to survive a multitude of outcomes for a long time, nothing lasts forever. They say what you don't know can't hurt you, but I believe every situation has both negative and positive learning opportunities. I'm more ready than you may think to be in a humble state of understanding and look forward to what follows. Tomorrow is a new chance to be better than yesterday wether I'm alone or amongst the fiends. I'm glad that my pain is comical, still I hope that the lot of you are with people that really care about you, it's not so common anymore. Walking away from toxicity and domestic violence is how I can stay a free man. Castor wasn’t Mace’s brother, and he beat the crap out of Vastor at the end of the book they were in. Vastor was powerful but he was no match for a master Jedi.

While technically true that was hardly an easy victory and may have been partly mace taking advantage of the fortune of where they stood more than just being better (even still sometimes a clear superior opponent can fight below their normal skill against an inferior playing better than normal). In force powers with potential in Legends only The Skywalkers, Abeloth, The Solos With Leias Leftings, Sidious, Galen Merek, Yoda, Malgus, And Dooku surpassed Windu yeah.
Incorrect dooku and malagus do not have stronger force potentials than mace and both of them even including galen would lose to legends mace windu who didn't have the same vapad in the original movies as the original allowed mace to foce the darkseid powers back onto the users but legends is him using his own darkness which means mace beat the strongest sith ever aka sidious with his own power something malagus and dooku nor galen can do

There accomplishments with force powers alone at a young age Dooku shows better feats as a child such as with being a seven year old with no effort lifted a plant that weighed many hundreds of pounds which was rare for a force sensitive at that age to succeed at with grace and gusto while most force sensitive that age had lots of trouble lifting leafs and Dooku grew in power and gifts from there and as a nine year old he was already without fail winning force battle challenges superbly against other force users one on one with telekinesis, force shields, force barriers, force pressure points, force balance, force reflexes, and force senses by themselves and together and not only that as greatly impressive as it was even more amazing at that age he was the only student Yoda did not go easy on or let win so if Dooku was able to accomplish all those things with fine lining as a pre teen just imagine what he was able to do as he got older the tournaments he was victorious in where called Push Feather and The Twelve And Under Tournement again all easily passed as just a nine year old even giving Yoda a bit of pause yeah. 4. Mace, Dooku, Yoda, And Anakin were the only four Jedi with high enough force potentials for themselves and others in the order to think any of them could be the Chosen One or Ones not even high force potents like Yaddle nor Plo Koon had counts that high yeah. 5. Dooku as a Jedi Knight was THEE TOP FIELD AGENT to the point were he was one of the few Jedi to not only survive the Galidrian wars but did not get injured temporarily nor permanently while most Jedi perished or got completely crippled yeah. And this was against high caliber armored and ultimate tiered soldiers shooters and killers and hand to hand fighters particularly Jango that killed many Jedi with his bare hands yeah. 6. As a Jedi Master he was one of the few to lift six of the seven Montour stones all weighing several tons with little effort at that point Yoda could only lift five of them telekenetically. 7. Again as a Jedi Master he was thee leading expert of telekinesis even teaching classes on it with no strain lifting all the heavy council chairs and other heavy furniture in the council room. 8. Many quotes say that Dooku as a Jedi Master before, during, and after The Phantom Menace was way above every other Jedi in force knowledge being a close second to Yoda placing him above Mace and even people older then The Count himself like Yaddle and Oppo Rancis as well as Thane Corollian among others yeah. 9. Yoda said to the faces of the entire council including Mace that comparing to himself and Anakin as force users and overall force sensitives Jedi Master Dooku was the best the strongest student, most learned in the ways of the force, the orders greatest student, and greatest failure(The last title due to exiting the job) and this was a statement Yoda bluntly stated in the late clone wars saying how he was thinking of students of the order and which one would be best suited for battle based on there force prowless and only Anakin And Dooku made that discussion not Mace yeah. 10. Mace only seems like he has higher potential then Dooku in the movies but in the wider Legends EU it was quite clear that he was outclassed in that by a handful and Dooku being one of them yeah.
Also Mace bested Sidious because of 1. He had three Jedi Masters aiding him from the start with Sidious being by himself. 2. He had a form advantage even if not being on the same level as Sidious in raw swordspersonship called Vaapad which he had time to seep into because Sidious was killing the other three Jedi Masters one being Kit Fisto. 3. Shatterpoint ability which not many force users have access to even overall more powerful ones. 4. It was mostly based on lightsaber fighting, hand to hand combat, and physical abilities and not much on force powers aside from force Valor for much of the fight. Had it been a pure force power match Mace would be slammed in a few seconds even Maces thoughts were that Sidious lightning was beyond Vaapad and was losing his grip on his Saber even before Anakin interfered physically yeah.

One of my favorite stories. I think if Anakin fought Kar Vastor he would have won but it'd been hard diff and he would have plummeted into the Darkside. So, Vader would win not Anakin. Yoda would have literally disarmed Vastor. But if he doesn't give up... curtains. I do believe if Vastor jad been trained as a Bendu either could do nothing against him.

Ah, a Windu fan boy. Windu feared falling to the dark side the same way all Jedi do, he formed Vapaad because had he not he would have fallen himself. Like Dooku, Windu had an actually hatred of the dark side, and like Dooku part of that hatred was self loathing because they both had a natural dark side affinity. Every person who learned Vapaad fell to the dark side except Windu, who arguably died before he was able to do so. Yes, Windu feared his own darkness. Yes, he feared falling like his student and his friend. Yes, he knew that could happen. And yes, he apparently was smarter than you, if you think that a man as angry as Windu was immune to the call of the dark side.
Honestly, no one cares how much you like the character or how you feel Vapaad should work. In cannon, Windu is literally the only person who doesn't fall to the dark side by using Vapaad, and his reasons for developing it in cannon are "as a way to control his own darkness". Make of that what you will, but when you're wrong on the internet the internet WILL tell you.
"Balawai" , meaning "Down folk", was the Korunnai term for everyone who came to settle Haruun Kal after them, because the city of Pelek Baw was established at a much lower altitude than the Korunnai Highlands. I don't recall any indication that it was a specific species. I'm 98% sure everyone Mace interacted with once he left the city seemed to be human, with aliens only mentioned within the city. Also, while Mace was indeed an orphan, his Ghosh was not finally wiped out (except for him and Kar) until the Clone Wars. Unless I am very much mistaken, they were still around when Mace first returned to Haruun Kal as a teenager (and told the tales that later inspired Kar to create the Akk Guard) ... and if Mace is being literal that Kar is half his age, and Mace is indeed about 50 in the Clone Wars (if memory serves, he does reflect in the novel that his teenage visit was over 30 years beforehand) then that would mean Kar hadn't been born back then.
If I remember correctly, Mace's estimation of Kar's power and potential is coloured by, and limited to, where they are. On Haruun Kal, Kar's connection with the jungle; his oneness with Pelekotan, is what makes him so much more dangerous. Anywhere else, he wouldn't seem so overwhelming. He'd still have "prodigious potential" as Cronal puts it, but there's no indication when Luke faces him on Mindor that he's as overpowered as he had seemed on Haruun Kal.
They really need to do a Windu series.
Also I think people in the comics are misunderstanding something. Power in the force and oneness with the force are two different things. Oneness with the force seems like power but that’s only the first layer. Castor could communicate with nature on a level no other Jedi could aside from probably Yoda. I think anakin and Vastor were probably equal but coming from two different sides. Anakin learned how to become a Jedi and mastered it. Vastor was a literal force of nature.
I completely forgot about Kar Vaster (rare moment for me) and even when I did know about him I didn’t know much thank you for adding this knowledge to my collection 😈🤝

I once read a fan fiction that neatly tied how this could be incorporated into the new films, and it went a little like this.
Revenge of the Sith
- As Kar Vaster sat in prison he sensed in the force a powerful shift and that his brother was in immediate danger. Despite his differences with his Mace he was still blood, and with his immense force power Kastor used this opportunity to escape from prison, to aid his brother. However, when he arrived he was to late Mace had been ejected through the window and was falling to his doom. Kastor interceded and taking he's broken brother hid and nursed him to health. Using the force and Jedi mind tricks Kastor gets his brother off world, end heads to the outer rim or wild space.
- Palpatine was a bit disturbed when the clone patrols could not confirm the body of Mace Windu. Nonetheless, this concern vanished as he knew Windu had been defeated and was no longer a significant threat just as Yoda wasn't
In between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope
- As Mace recovers, now far from the Emperor's grasp he telepathically communes with Yoda. Yoda informs him that the Jedi have a hope in Anakin's children. Mace fiercely disagrees and believes the plan foolish. He reiterates that had Yoda listened to him Anakin would have never been trained and this situation avoided. This harsh disagreement leads to a falling out between the 2 Masters, as Mace thinks no Skywalker can be trusted.
- In light of his disagreement with Yoda, Mace believes the Jedi need to change and so he with the help of Kastor create a new order that would be "Gray Jedi" Yoda strongly objects to this creation of the order and both go separate ways.
- Windu begins training Kastor to harness his potential. The plan is to build their power in secret just as the Sith did and then in quick strike kill Palpatine and Vader.
A New Hope
- Windu hears word of the Rebels but feels they won't be enough to stop the Empire. He continues remaining in the shadows building his secret gray Jedi powerbase. Even after the deathstar has been destroyed Mace does not believe it is enough. Meanwhile Kastor grows in power.
Empire Strikes Back
- Windu reached out to Yoda who informs him of Luke Skywalker being trained. Infuriated Mace severs communication with Yoda as he feels this will end in disaster. He continues training his group of JEdi and his brother now for the preparation of having to slay Luke too as he believes Luke will turn to the darkside.
Return of the Jedi
- Mace feel his group of Jedi are nearly ready for the task ahead of him. He feels that he, his brother and followers are powerful enough to face off against Palpatine and Vader. While final preparations are being made to reveal themselves the Battle of Endor occurs and Palpatine and Vader fall. Shocked by this Mace still doesn't trust Skywalker and wants to wait for sometime to see how he acts before revealing himself. However, Mace would not get this luxury as an alien force from outside the galaxy begins it invasion into the outer rim. This foe is formidable and possibly an even greater threat than the Sith. Mace and his order ally with the Chiss and quietly begin to combat this threat. Meanwhile, the rest of the galaxy remains unaware of this imminent threat.
The Sequels
- During the fight with the alien invasion force, the enemy employed tactics that inhibited Mace and the others to get outside help from the rest of the galaxy. This means that the events of the sequel happen without his and his Jedi's knowledge. By the end of the Sequels Mace's Jedi and local allies seemed to have won the war, but to their horror they realize it's only the beginning as the main invasion fleet arrives into the system. During the Sequels Mace passed and his aging brother Kar Vastor was the one to stop the immediate alien invasion force. With the immediate alien invasion force defeated this allowed an opening in communications and travel so that one of Kar Vastor trusted Jedi could go out into the main galaxy and request help from the republic and other forces.
New Sequels
- The New Sequels would be about the galaxy fighting against this Alien force that calls itself the Yuuzhan Vong.

Great job summarizing that Novel into a 14 min. video. I work long hours and recently started to use audible to help me get through the day. This was one the Novels. (I got to admit though they used did kind of sound like Samuel L. Jackson.) That being said they did jam a lot of info about Windu in their, particularly without this Novel I would of never known he kept a journal

This is very interesting story. I like this. Tragic life but very powerful. Had good end. Good story. I think he's not near level of Yoda or Mace. It's good Windu had such great challenge. Sorry, but Yoda is a master of Survive-Escape-Live to fight another day-Return unexpected, unheard, unseen, and remove your head from the rest of you. As Master Yoda would never consider surviving a fight to be a failure, the line "I have failed." In SW3 was a ruse statement. He knew that Palpatine could read voices through the force. His hope was that Palpatine would grow overconfident with his "win".

Great video and I love this channel, but why did it keep showing axes when talking about Kar's shields? In the book it says that his weapons were teardrop shaped shields, but razor sharp. So they didn't look anything like axes.

Soncerely sometimes I think this guy have some problems with text interpretation. Windu never puts Kar Vastorin the same level of power of Yoda and Anakin, he reckon that give his abilities his midichlorian count should be off the charts like it was on Yoda or Anakin, but without the training and discipline of a Jedi or Sith having such a high midichlorian count could only get someone so far. As Mace Windu says in the novel, a Jedi answer to raw power is skill, and despit losing to Vastor, on their gist fight, before being knocked out, Windu gives Vastor the beating of his life.
The whole theme of thee novel was Windu reflecting on his own part initiating it, he starts of admiring that had he killed Dooku right away, he would have prevented the war, but he could not cold bloddedly kill someone he considered a close friend. Yet at that moment on th Gonosis Arena he knew Dooku was the Shatterpoint of the whole CIS, eliminate it and the separatist movement would crumble, but instead he extended his blade to Jango Fett. Depa Billaba goes as far as saying the reason the war was dragging on was that since the Jedi were keepers of the peace they went to Gonosis to save a senator and two of their own, when a good strategist would just explode the arena with a Baradium bomb and kill the entire separatist leadership with a senator and two Jedi as unfortunate collateral effects.
Windu is faced with many situations where it is Cristal clear how powerful he was, but he often states that in many situations, someone like Yoda or Anakin, could just use a brute force approach with their force powers because they have too much midichlorians, and to so one like Windu, not as gofted with such a raw connection, he had to aconplish the same by expert use of skill. Which is also how Vaapad works, as he says, Vaapad isn't a lightsabe style Vaapad is a state of mind, and he don't have to use a lightsabe to use it, he just need to expert apply his extremely honed skill. This is why he also states that both Depa Billaba and Sora Bulk did not mastered Vaapad, but Vaapad mastered them instead.
Also Mace refused the idea he and Vastor were related due to tribal traditions, he clearly denies Vastor compliment as a his Tribal Brother, stating that his bothers and sisters were the Jedi.
I would like to see a TV show. Revolving around mace fighting this dude.

The vibró shields can cut other vibró shields. Mace windu basically tricked him because he pulled the shield from behind, kar knew there was a threat so tried to stop it, but it went through the shields. Honestly not dissimilar from the idea of him beating Sidious by breaking the window so Sidious had to spend some of his power had to be used keeping his balance.

Just gonna say you know Samuel L. Jackson is the shit when lore in a universe of stories are created based on an actor wanting a purple light saber. I mean, did the green or blue really mean anything until Windu's purple saber? I'm probably wrong, but I don't remember light saber colors meaning anything, other than red, until purple came around. Then is was like every color means something. I could be wrong. I'm nerdy, but not star wars comic book nerdy. In the story itself we see mace windu can beat him despite being weaker. More power has never meant there was certain victory. Anakin only further proves that by his loss to kenobi.
While I don't mind there being other organizations or even singular force beings around the SW galaxy, I agree the OP characters can become a bit exhausting. I see this as lazy writing. I've said many times, it's easy to write an OP force character, as you can give them a massive power to make them a challenge for a Jedi. It's a bit more difficult to come up with a story with other scenarios to challenge a Jedi or Sith. Oh, and now we can add Luke Skywalker to be a savior to this person. Using his power and skill to add more to the story. Because of course, only Luke will have the capability. It's lazy. Not at all creative, such as the Yuuzhan Vong stories. Where there is actually good intrigue and depth.

Real lazy but it is what it is, living through soo much loss makes it easier to relinquish connection, in order to preserve what good is left if any remains. I can feel everything and I'm not blind so I've been mentally physically and emotionally prepared to survive a multitude of outcomes for a long time, nothing lasts forever. They say what you don't know can't hurt you, but I believe every situation has both negative and positive learning opportunities. I'm more ready than you may think to be in a humble state of understanding and look forward to what follows. Tomorrow is a new chance to be better than yesterday wether I'm alone or amongst the fiends. I'm glad that my pain is comical, still I hope that the lot of you are with people that really care about you, it's not so common anymore. Walking away from toxicity and domestic violence is how I can stay a free man. If that seems to most as the easy way out, understand that I only leave to quell the unnecessary arguing, it is below me to fight with words especially with loved ones.

Yoda beat Sidious with his lightsaber too. It's why Palpy ditched his Saber and switch to his force powers where he is more powerful.

Palpy would have loved to chop up his little green friend if only to mock the Jedi that he could defeat them with their own weapon. While technically true that was hardly an easy victory and may have been partly mace taking advantage of the fortune of where they stood more than just being better (even still sometimes a clear superior opponent can fight below their normal skill against an inferior playing better than normal). This mace was possibly also still progressing.

In force powers with potential in Legends only The Skywalkers, Abeloth, The Solos With Leias Leftings, Sidious, Galen Merek, Yoda, Malgus, And Dooku surpassed Windu yeah.
Incorrect dooku and malagus do not have stronger force potentials than mace and both of them even including galen would lose to legends mace windu who didn't have the same vapad in the original movies as the original allowed mace to foce the darkseid powers back onto the users but legends is him using his own darkness which means mace beat the strongest sith ever aka sidious with his own power something malagus and dooku nor galen can do

The main reason Yoda went out of retirement which is very rare was because Dooku who unlike Anakin came to the order at a appropriate age was because he sensed Dookus strength in the force was ENIGMATIC EVEN FOR HIMSELF TO COMPREHEND for that to be the case you need a force potential to be either near Yodas, equal to Yodas, Or Higher then Yodas WHICH IS EXTREMELY RARE and Dooku was one of those exceptions Mace was not and he was brought to the order at a appropriate age too yet neither Yoda nor Dooku felt that Mace had a potential high enough for them to the point were they felt best equipped to take on most of the responsibility.
2. It was revealed in a quote or more that Dooku was a UNIQUE CASE AMONG THE JEDI ORDER Universally respected he would of been A JEDI MASTER ON PAR WITH YODA HAD HE NOT LEFT THE ORDER TO JOIN ITS GREATEST ENEMIES and clearly it meant in force potential and power otherwise Dooku would of not been a unique case among the Jedi Order and he was universally respected because of his political acumen, governmental know how, diplomacy, negotiating, business sense, class, wealth, title, and birth right among other things as a Jedi which also made him one of a kind in the order.
3. There accomplishments with force powers alone at a young age Dooku shows better feats as a child such as with being a seven year old with no effort lifted a plant that weighed many hundreds of pounds which was rare for a force sensitive at that age to succeed at with grace and gusto while most force sensitive that age had lots of trouble lifting leafs and Dooku grew in power and gifts from there and as a nine year old he was already without fail winning force battle challenges superbly against other force users one on one with telekinesis, force shields, force barriers, force pressure points, force balance, force reflexes, and force senses by themselves and together and not only that as greatly impressive as it was even more amazing at that age he was the only student Yoda did not go easy on or let win so if Dooku was able to accomplish all those things with fine lining as a pre teen just imagine what he was able to do as he got older the tournaments he was victorious in where called Push Feather and The Twelve And Under Tournement again all easily passed as just a nine year old even giving Yoda a bit of pause yeah.
4. Mace, Dooku, Yoda, And Anakin were the only four Jedi with high enough force potentials for themselves and others in the order to think any of them could be the Chosen One or Ones not even high force potents like Yaddle nor Plo Koon had counts that high yeah.
5. Dooku as a Jedi Knight was THEE TOP FIELD AGENT to the point were he was one of the few Jedi to not only survive the Galidrian wars but did not get injured temporarily nor permanently while most Jedi perished or got completely crippled yeah. And this was against high caliber armored and ultimate tiered soldiers shooters and killers and hand to hand fighters particularly Jango that killed many Jedi with his bare hands yeah.
6. As a Jedi Master he was one of the few to lift six of the seven Montour stones all weighing several tons with little effort at that point Yoda could only lift five of them telekenetically.
7. Again as a Jedi Master he was thee leading expert of telekinesis even teaching classes on it with no strain lifting all the heavy council chairs and other heavy furniture in the council room.
8. Many quotes say that Dooku as a Jedi Master before, during, and after The Phantom Menace was way above every other Jedi in force knowledge being a close second to Yoda placing him above Mace and even people older then The Count himself like Yaddle and Oppo Rancis as well as Thane Corollian among others yeah.

Yoda said to the faces of the entire council including Mace that comparing to himself and Anakin as force users and overall force sensitives Jedi Master Dooku was the best the strongest student, most learned in the ways of the force, the orders greatest student, and greatest failure(The last title due to exiting the job) and this was a statement Yoda bluntly stated in the late clone wars saying how he was thinking of students of the order and which one would be best suited for battle based on there force prowless and only Anakin And Dooku made that discussion not Mace yeah.
10. Mace only seems like he has higher potential then Dooku in the movies but in the wider Legends EU it was quite clear that he was outclassed in that by a handful and Dooku being one of them yeah.
Also Mace bested Sidious because of 1. He had three Jedi Masters aiding him from the start with Sidious being by himself. 2. He had a form advantage even if not being on the same level as Sidious in raw swordspersonship called Vaapad which he had time to seep into because Sidious was killing the other three Jedi Masters one being Kit Fisto. 3. Shatterpoint ability which not many force users have access to even overall more powerful ones. 4. It was mostly based on lightsaber fighting, hand to hand combat, and physical abilities and not much on force powers aside from force Valor for much of the fight. Had it been a pure force power match Mace would be slammed in a few seconds even Maces thoughts were that Sidious lightning was beyond Vaapad and was losing his grip on his Saber even before Anakin interfered physically yeah.
@matthewmann8969 This is all good as well you listed some feats however you are wrong in one thing while dooku was impressive his potential was not at yoda level as seen in the movies where is declared anakin is the only with a higher potential then yoda second of all mace winds was a prodigy to the point he was the youngest jedi to sit on the council so you saying he was not that impressive is just balantly wrong and you have not disproven my statement what feats does dooku have that put him in the level of sidious which mace beat also if you read the legends comic you will see that dooku had a fight with mace that ended with him running away granted it was even the best you can bring dooku up to is equal to mace but not above while mace can be argued to be above by doing the one thing only 2 people have done which is beat sidious 1 being him the other being luke
@matthewmann8969 Also you are wrong as well there are star wars novels that proclaim mace to be the champion of the jedi order with some statement even alluding to the fact that his on his level also like I said if we go by legends vapad that means mace used his own power to beat sidious keep in mind that something dooku couldn't do also why do you think malagus and galen mark could beat mace
Well that stinks. I was really looking forward to this game... i dont think i can justify paying $70 for this. Maybe I'll get it later when the price drops. Oh well tons of other games to get into.
One of my favorite stories. I think if Anakin fought Kar Vastor he would have won but it'd been hard diff and he would have plummeted into the Darkside. So, Vader would win not Anakin.
