Matt thats for the time on the video sharing our 93 Calypso SSP....Real Deal Ford Test Vehicle and actually an early build car and was also used by a local municipality to us in Indiana....true 1 of 1 Calypso/Black interior auto SSP....THANKS again and truly appreciate your channel

I really like that Georgia State Highway patrol car, I like that classic patrol car paint scheme.
I like that one a lot too. It was so cool to see the fresh from auction GSP that was sold last year by FMR.
The US Air Force purchased 19 SSPs, not six. This one is the only known survivor, as they were used pretty hard with their U-2 duties. I rode in this one at RAF Alsonbury when it had just arrived from Beale AFB in California - the pilot I was riding with spun out initially as we made the turn to follow the jet as darkness was falling over the English countryside. The car hit 130 mph catching up to the U-2 ....this car was completely disassembled and restored from the ground up by one of the owners in California.

You doing your exercises was really funny. I bet people were thinking you were nuts doing it in the middle of the way... I can't believe there are never 1980 o 1981 cars at the shows. I have 2 81s (one of each body style) and I love them. I guess it has to do with the fact that there was no 5.0 those years. Fortunately here in Mexico they did have the 5.0...
I didn't know that about Mexico! That's so cool to know. I know Mike Clay has an 80 Cobra, and I wish it was there. People did look at me a little strange when I was doing those LOL

Look at all of those beautiful girls there. And Tiffany too! I love how at the beginning you had Tiff and Tarheel in the frame and said, "isn't she beautiful." We knew who you really meant. You weren't talking about Tarheel Fox entirely. Smart man! Oh my! I had to come back after watching you do your back exercises. I think your back is fine, and you were practicing for when you and Tiffany get home from this event. After all, you complemented her very well at the beginning of the video as I said earlier.

I'm sure they loved it, I heard there was still one in service in Oregon that pulled someone over in an article recently. They certainly were one of the fastest cars on the road back in the day.

Hey man i know this isn't a related video but it's your newest. I needed to ask what kind of LEDs go into the overhead lights in the mirror in your convertible fox. I've been looking for ages but i just can't find a good answer. your stuff is clean tho!!!

Really digging the SSP action!
You might consider getting in touch with the slot car company SCALEXTRIC and get on board with me in lobbying them to produce a 87-93 Fox coupe slot car in 1/32 scale! The idea is that the coupe can be used as a SSP in various livery, a SALEEN coupe or a plain coupe.
I've been into these cars for many years now and its a blady and a great winter activity!

@@GearHead704 Yep, SCALEXTRIC, Slot It, Sideways, Thunderslot, Carerra, NSR and Polycar are some big brands in the hobby!
We race on Wednesday nights on a huge four lane track at a nearby hobby shop. Its a blast!
