      We always love visiting Chinatowns when we travel. There is always such a great selection of food. Bangkok's Chinatown was really special, as it was so busy and vibrant. Thanks for watching Ray :)

      @@TakeTimeToTravel The flickering from you camera looks like it is coming from a combination of the fluorescent lights and a fast shutter speed on the camera. The only way to get rid of it is to adjust the shutter speed in manual mode but this will also effect the stabilization in a GoPro.

    Love visiting any Chinatown. This one is super busy and interesting!The variety of foods offered is stunning. Try the durian.I love it, but it does smell like garbage.

      We were quite surprised at how busy it was, and at times it took forever to squeeze through the crowds. The food was wonderful there, so we ate lots of it lol. We have had durian, and although the first time we tried it in Hong Kong we didn't like it, we had it in Bangkok and really liked it! It does smell though haha. Thanks for watching :)

    Did I hear Ice Cream roll? I actually haven’t had it myself in Taiwan. There was/is one outside my parents’ place in Taiwan. I am tempted to try it now!! Yummmmmmm 😍😍😍😍

      The ice cream rolls were really delicious! The strange thing is that they put cilantro in with them. I don't usually like cilantro, but didn't mind it in these rolls. I guess everything tastes better with ice cream lol :)

    Wow that is a lot of … humans there. We don’t usually visit so-called China Town of a city because we feel that … we “lived in one” 😁😁.
    The red arc entrance actually said “Hospital. I wonder if it was some sort of clinic at earlier days.
    Re: walking on the street … hmn … another reason I couldn’t take G with me 😭 it might be a hazard …
    My parents’ home is also next to a market so the scene brings back my memory of busy stalls and some “bloody butchery scenes”.
    Egg dumpling what? First time hearing that thing 😌.
    Should have watched your video before my lunch. I am DOUBLE full now. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    • @TakeTimeToTravel

      Those markets were really packed with people, and sometimes it felt like playing "follow the leader" to get through the walkways. The first temple was part of a hospital foundation, so I guess that explains the word on the entrance. I think the egg dumpling wonton must have been a quail egg inside of it, as they weren't very big. Mike didn't really like them...but I did :)

    One of the “scare” (health wise) I have with Asia is that … tasty food tends to be deep fried, deep fried and … deep fried. 🥲

    • @TakeTimeToTravel
      @TakeTimeToTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, yes that's true, but it seems that everything that is deep fried tastes so good! I guess we just have to not eat it all the time, darn it :)
