Thank you for this Arnuad. I'm a senior and am choosing between Chapman and another film school in Chicago for my next 4 years and just can't decide. I think this might've convinced me. I can't visit because of corona but I know I want to go here and I'd wake up excited to learn. Thanks again bro!
Thanks so much for this awesome comment Max! Chapman is an incredible school and I think you'll be in a great environment surrounded by like minded creatives and learning from the best of the best!
I liked your transfer story. It was inspiring! Loved your advice! I almost transferred here, and not doing so is my biggest mistake in life. (I’m a senior in college). Great video!
Hey Arnaud ! I relate to this so so much! I was also studying at Syracuse university and din't feel like I belonged after a certain point, and now I'm transferring but have to choose between LMU & Chapman , but can't seem to decide! Anything you think will help? I am really leaning towards Chapman , but I don't know how good the film program/ opportunities really are in comparison to LMU because its in the city. Any help would be appreciated , thanks xx !
Funny that you say LMU & Chapman because those were the two schools I was ultimately deciding between as well. I ended up choosing Chapman for multiple reasons but the main reasons was because it felt more like a community to me. It is a very tight nit place and after having experienced Syracuse I knew that I was looking for that. I also found that the film school itself was state of the art which I didn't have that same experience at LMU. It is ultimately subjective to each person! I think both schools are incredible so it mainly comes down the gut feeling you have!
i love this video and i really want to go to Chapman!!! i'm wondering about the political leanings of most students, I know a lot of the students here are rich white kids and chapman's located in a republican-leaning town. are most students conservative? but it's in socal so i'd expect them to be very liberal but i'm not sure
I would stray away from the idea that Chapman is a rich white kid school because a lot of people, including myself, would not have been able to go were it not for the financial aid Chapman offers. With that being said, you're gonna find that demographic here but you will at most schools. As far as political leanings, Chapman is a very liberal and progressive school in my experience. It lies in a conservative area but that doesnt reflect Chapman at all. Again, you're gonna find the whole political spectrum at Chapman but for someone who tends to lie more on the left I felt very at home.
I am from Syracuse NY and am excepted to Whitman for finance at SU and also accepted at Chapman for BA/finance program. Since you have experience with both colleges what are the major differences? I have never had the opportunity to see Chapman and due to Covid 19 will not see it before the deposit is due. Thanks
Hey Nick, unfortunately I did not spend too much time at Syracuse to make an accurate comparison. I think the biggest difference in the schools is the physical location, as well as the average class size. Chapman does an excellent job in providing a personalized education where you really get to establish 1on1 connections with your professors. I think that both finance programs are great and you can't really go wrong either way. For me it just came down to what environment I prefer to be in! Hopefully this helps and best of luck.

Informative video by the way
