For comparison, the iPhone SE 2022 has 1.22μm at 12MP, meaning that even at 50MP mode, a single Pixel is still larger than one on the SE 2022, meaning 50MP is a really nice balance and isn't overdoing in resolution at all.
Does it come with pre installed screen protector? Or have you tried installing one never owned full edge/ curve display phone any feedback how it fits or feel after installing screen protector? Thanks
Came with a plastic screen protector. My general recommendation is to use a case that offers screen protection(slightly protruded). To enjoy the screen to the fullest, while also having the protection for it. Get a shockproof case, until then use the case that is provided in the box.
I'd buy it for a decent price, and of course for the Ready For desktop mode (how didn't you mention it?). Also, the stock UX and useful gestures, why not highlight them? BTW, while I agree with many comments against curved glass, I simply love my current OnePlus 7T Pro with curved glass (not rational, I know). Not a scratch on its GG5 screen even without any protection. But Motorola should have gone the extra mile and provide what also makes nowadays a flagship: good IP rating, GGvictus, great computational photography, better telescope lens, etc. Where I live, it's now sold only on the Lenovo website for a 1k pricetag, which is too much IMHO. For 800 I'd consider it.

Wait. You probably won't even see this, but are you living in bulgaria, because the "park hotel vitosha" which you captured for the photo samples is in Sofia, Bulgaria.
After i saw all of the photos i think that all of them were shot in Bulgaria.
Would it work on ATT
And what's the easiest way to get it on USA 😁
the silver hatch back car got my attention @ 8:15 :D:D:D
Looks awesome!
Watching this review in my moto edge 30 ultra🥳🤩
How do you like it
well done motorola !!!!!
You should have really tested the high pixel photo modes since that's a big and new feature of this phone.
What about Gaming experience and heating issue???
phone prefers Throttleing over heating.
Loses half of it's performance, but that also means after losing half, it's still at Snap 888peak performance and Snap 888peak is 15% GPU usage in COD maxed out settings...
It's nothing to worry about.
Motorola Edge 30 ultra or One plus 10 pro?
EIS or OIS?
P52 just isn't enough for today's standards. Smartphones have been P65 waterproof since 2016.. My search for a new phone continues
Photography is all about the ability to capture light.
More pixels crammed into a very small sensor doesn't magically make it a good camera.
Sure the resolution increases but image quality decreases and theres more noise
Finally a guy with brains
@@veryinterestingpersonaliti8321 you'd think so but i dm:ed the guy under your comment and got a virus instead of a prize 🙄
Well, it does have one of the largest sensors. In a phone, it just does brighten less aggressive
@@fa14bi-78 they increased it to a one inch sensor? That definitely helps image quality. But still 200 megapixels on a one inch is really pushing it. I guess thats when the software come into play
@@estebalstigopopoluz I know, the 200MP is only useful at daylight, but it will usually only shoot in 50MP and when it get's darker, it automatically lowers to 12MP.
It's not completely 1inch, but it still reaches an 2.56μm Pixel size, and 1.28μm at 50MP.
For comparison, the iPhone SE 2022 has 1.22μm at 12MP, meaning that even at 50MP mode, a single Pixel is still larger than one on the SE 2022, meaning 50MP is a really nice balance and isn't overdoing in resolution at all.
IT has only 16x zoom? please, post a zoom test.
I have been waiting
For 800 I'd consider it.
watch the video he mentioned all that at 4:07 and 4:30 for desktop mode.
PAY ATTENTION!!!!
@@dnegel9546 he mentioned it yes; but those are two big features of owning a Motorola phone and they are just briefly brought up.
I got an Edge 30 Pro earlier and it is great, yes the camera didn't stand up to iPhone 13 or Galaxy S22 Ultra, but it is great for me. I wonder why the 30 Pro photos and the 30 Ultra photos for both reviews are taken in Sofia. Is it only for Motorola, or does GSMArena take all photos in Bulgaria
How are the speakers? Sound quality?
@@Tzgrey77 The speakers are stereo tuned with Dolby ATMOS, and the sound is with the best phones out there. I was blown away how good my previous Moto G8 Power- mid ranger from 2020 sounded when I bought it in 2020 and that it has stereo. Edge 20 and many expensive phones didn't have stereo or 2 speakers at all, when I was looking for the 2022 models (in the summer at least). They rate the Edge 30 Pro better than Galaxy S22 Ultra in GSMArena!
This or the oneplus 10 pro? In my country the oneplus 10 pro is 150 dollars cheaper
8:41 you didn't say that it supports OIS as well
How about a review for the x40?
Torn between Vivo x80 (12,256), Edge 30 ultra and Pixel 7. Which one should i buy?
Pixel 7
Definitely Pixel 7
Don’t buy any Chinese phones
30 ultra has 200mp Vivo x80 has 50mp I'm not sure . pixel 7 camera is rubbish.
@@johnlukins1710 It’s not about the megapixels, it’s about the afterimage processing. You sound disgustingly uneducated.
Almost perfect. 1080p is a let down though
Struggling with picking between this and Pixel 7 Pro. I wish there was a good camera comparison on TH-cam.
go for pixel 7 no brainer
Pixel 7 pro without a doubt
If you want a point and shoot device, Pixel, if you want longer battery life, better heat management and Performance, Moto.
@@akiouwu2019 Guess you are brain dead, consider the price difference between the two, then compare performance of both the devices. Motorola literally beats the pixel 7 pro, maybe pixels camera might be good but charge speed and SOT is much much better on moto. These things matter in this fast paced world.
Yeah don't forget the price difference.
@@faizansh851 Uh , did you even ask what his priorities are? Camera it is. And pixel is far better , end of topic.
I don't know where these half baked internetlings without proper education drop from.
Make sure you finish elementary education first
compared to the mi 11 ultra ... is this it chief ?
I'm leasing samsung, I have ordered this. 😍
Is this camera better than that in the iPhone 13 pro? I am confused between the 2
Not really
It won't be consistent
by hardware it is, by software, don't know.
Ofc not… numbers doesn’t matter
Software matters.
@@fa14bi-78 hardware means shit
@@veryinterestingpersonaliti8321 You can also be the software yourself by shooting in raw, in that case, hardware is the only difference because the software is identical, being the person.
Wow, Motorola has greatly improved their innovations throughout the years.. wish they company would sponsor me to have this model hehe.. Have faith my dear! Thanks GSMArena for this in-depth review of their latest flagship phone.. ❤️💖
Change the song for testing out the speakers.
I believe I'll wait to see what The S23 Ultra brings to The Table.
Yeah but this is a 800$ phone and the S23 Ultra will start around 1300$
Is it a global version?
Good job bro
Hi there - how is the 960fps video @ 1080p ?
Because it's obvious even the Snapdragon 865 supported 1080p video at 960 frames per second
@@harryvlogs7833 so it's genuine 960fps not interpolated like many other phones?
@@contactMW yeah
It was less pixelated than my s22 plus. Have used both. Can even share the samples
They should improve video stabilization of main camera.
Can it support office applications such as MS teams, Outlook, Intune company portal etc.?
My 4 year old ₹12k mobile is supporting intune portal and office apps... I am sure very other mobile will support it...
Is this the same with Moto X30 Pro 5G or not?
没错,X30pro是中国大陆市场的叫法
Where sold to country 512GB model?
Will is buff right now.
Plz show the desktop mode Next time
6:15 me,a cuber ...wanting to shuffle and solve the building like a mirror cube 😭
This reviewer is hot 🔥 Anyway, this phone looks like the S21 Ultra
Here in the first 5mins before it blows up
Wish to have this with stylus🙏
Hahaha scam🎉🎊🧨 fool yourself bruh
Low frequency pwm dimming?
Happy to hear it's no bigger then 6.6 I can't stand these huge phones currently got moto ace one 5g. Only down side slow charge and too big 6.1 is perfect phone size who needs a pocket tablet. Even basic Motorola gadgets are smooth.
