Jeff and Matt, especially. Both used to limp like elderly men but they walk fine now surprisingly. The both of them must’ve took stem cells or did DDP yoga.
The Rumble 2000 match was a big part of me getting into wrestling. It was on channel 4 in the UK at 1am and I couldn't sleep and I watched out of curiosity and stayed up for the whole show, the tables match, the street fight, the rumble itself and the charisma of the Rock, all of it had me thinking "ok, this is something for me!". His career is so full, there's so much there to listen to. Man, Im excited for this.
Watching you and Bubba work was an absolute privilege. What you guys did for us, the fans is amazing. Your growth from ECW to WWE was tremendous to watch. Thank you for putting your body on the line for us.

The Royal Rumble Tables Match with the Hardy’s and the original 3-way Ladder Match are legendary. The TLC matches were great, but the road getting to that stipulation was perfect.

Subbing! Thank you for your hard work and dedication for entertaining us back in the day. My childhood was brightened up by you and many others in that era.
1:18 D’Von fell MAYBE 12-15 feet. That being said, I understand our tendency to embellish certain things and I could see why that fall felt longer. At any rate, I remember watching during the OG TLC days as a kid and D’Von’s selling was some of the best! The way he used to twitch and thrash after a big bump - I was convinced he had been killed because sudden death due to head trauma causes the same kind of twitching.
Exactly, Taz called a ladder in a match 30 -35 ft. People need to realize how high that really is and that the reality doesn't need to be exaggerated. There is no way D Von fell 30 feet, LOL.
This was amazing! Can’t wait for next episode. As a life long fan I’m happy to have these podcasts/videos pulling the curtain back. Keep it up D-Von and Maven!

Absolutely stunning reliving some of these moments, seeing you still in pretty good shape, in spite of all these matches and bumps you went through, and that 'By the grace of god' bit for how you landed that first dangling spot is pretty cogent for your career as a whole. Definitely excited to see more of your perspective on the business!
Already less than a minute in and I'm floored. Learning that one of the founding fathers of TLC, one of the people that put that match on the map, is scared of heights, is baffling! You certainly didn't show it. Great job on the video, I think just like Maven you could go far with this TH-cam thing. :)

Not to take anything away from the first bump, but to know how high Jeff and D-Von was, you count the steps of the ladders. Every step is a feet, so they were estimated 9-10ft high above the ring. That being said, it’s still pretty high and still a dangerous height to fall off due to serious injury or death.
You gotta remember the belts were hanging where 6'0+ guys could reach it off that ladder, when you take those calculations into consideration it equates to about 20-22 ft.
Also the bumps the ECW guys took is why skaters from my generation loved it, we knew what it felt like to take a slam from 8-12 ft lol, we did it willingly almost every day.
@Primussux710 thief feet are literally 8 ft above the mat...he is right about he steps being 12 inches and you can see I right beside them....I've fell from 12 ft once and I don't wanna do it again so I give them all the respect hey deserve lol but it's nowhere near 20 ft
@@Primussux710not really, that’s a 12 foot ladder, if they were to stand to the tippy top the max would be 18 feet if they’re 6 ft tall, as you can see they can reach it 4 rungs down from the ladder, making them be 8 feet high, and him crunching it should be a 10 foot drop max, still highly and very dangerous tho, but nowhere near 20 feet, they wouldn’t survive that or would 100% break something

@@Primussux710 10 feet plus 6 feet equals 22 feet? That's some Scott Steiner math right there.
The TLC 2 match at WM 17 is my all time favorite tag match till this day. Thank you for the memories 🙏🏾
