However the thing is empty so all that shifting is completely uncalled for. he could start in second shift to fourth , sixth, click up and keep shifting doubles and triples. Makes no difference since the truck is completely empty . And even when its under load he could still start off in second no problem on level.
You CAN drive a car like that too but shouldn't since passenger cars and trucks have synchronizers and you'll eat em up floating gears like ya do w a rig

When navigating tight corners... such as right angle turns in a community it is recommended to keep the drop axle down... Situation like though put alot of lateral strain on the drop axle and also tire wear

But I know another kind of axle configuration that solves the problem: the twin steer. If You got two directional axles + two stable axles the truck can turn on tight curves loaded with all the axles down.
The way you let the door fall means that you take care of your truck ... every time you see a driver letting the door sound hard, he does not own the truck....

It's called "floating gears". You only really need the clutch when you're moving off. You can drive a car like that too.
