But by that time i had no idea who Frieza is (or lets say, i didn't know he could transform) and i was so underwhelmed because he looked weak haha. the bojack movie is the one film that perfectly fits into the dbz timeline, so much so that I'm convinced bojack should be canon. after trunks kills the androids he said he was gonna tell his friends the news about it, but just before leaving cell came and we know the rest afterwards. so the bojack movie takes place shortly after trunks kills the androids, and after returning from his future he decides to join gohan and friends for the tournament.

Here’s my take: the entire movie timeline is it’s own alternate timeline where the events of Dragonball are majorly different 1.Deadzone takes place instead of the battle with raditz. Raditz never comes to earth and instead at some point after this movie piccolo kills goku and takes gohan. His intent to train him as his sidekick and means of world domination are the same, but the difference is piccolo uses the Special Beam Canon in an off screen fight to kill goku because he’s still evil. 2. World’s strongest. This happens after Goku returns to earth but before any saiyans show up. 3. Tree of Might this is the first saiyan invasion. After this movie the gang learns that Goku is also a saiyan. 4. Lord Slug. This is where goku shows the first signs of super saiyan. Piccolo still is alive because Vegeta and Napa never come to earth. Lord slug is how piccolo learns he is a namek and after this movie the gang travel to namek where the Frieza saga takes place, only Vegeta, Napa, and Radiz are all the first enemies the gang face. Vegeta kills his underlings after goku defeats them, and then his side switching and most of the last half of the saga is the same except piccolo was on the planet the whole time. 6.Cooler happens after trunks in the three year time skip in this timeline. 7. Cooler’s Revenge is during the training for cell before the chamber 8. Android 13 is in the universe where goku actually takes the vaccine before contracting the heart virus and therefore is never in a medical coma during the android saga Cell gives them a month to prepare in this timeline instead of 10 days. The cell they fight is actually much stronger. Broly 1 happens in this skip Cell games Bojack unbound is 6 months after Cell Broly 2 is in the middle of the battle of majin buu during goten and trunks hunt for the dragonballs, this part of the timeline is the same Bio-Broly can’t hurt you, Bio Broly isn’t real. It’s a dream goten has after the fight with Broly. The ending of the Buu Saga is very different. When gohan returns, Buu hasn’t absorbed anyone else and Gohan kills him fuckin dead. Goku was never brought back to life, and Goku and Vegeta fight Janemba instead as the last fight of the saga. Goku did fight Buu, but only the fat one. Then goku and vegeta are wished back to life. Wrath of Dragon is the true ending of this timeline, and GT takes place in this alternate timeline as well. It’s not perfect but I think this is the best explanation, the saiyan saga just never happens and vegeta is introduced on namek instead. Everything else is similar because it’s destined to happen but the time they spend on namek is a lot longer in this continuity, and piccolo is the main villain after garlic jr but before tree of might, goku is actually training with king Kai in order to defeat him
If they had to put another universe in the tournament of power I would choice this and name it the Zeno Universe which was a universe Made to breed the most evil and destructive god which ended up being Broly and at the end the third cancelled broly movie was him turning into a god of destruction but instead of losing for plot armor he won It would have been a nice reference if we ever actually knew what the third broly movie was about
In a xenoverse mission, Goten and trunks talks about choosing to not use fusion against Broly in second coming, since they thought fusion woulda ended it too early
Bio Broly Actually should take place a week or 2 after The 2nd Broly movie because at the end Goku and King Kai get a phone call that Broly is uncontrollable in Hell and he needs to go and take care of it
For your conclusion to Wrath of the dragon...Gotenks doesn't exist in the future Trunks timeline because Goku dies before knocking up Chichi with Goten. No Goten, no Gotenks.
My amendments to your timeline that I could see. 1). The events of Cooler happened, in my personal belief, during the three-year training to defeat the androids. At least, this makes the most sense. I could see Chi Chi wanting Gohan to study in his off times from training and Goku forcing his idea of a break onto the situation. The Return of Cooler would also be another break during this period. Easily could be explained that they went to visit Namek finally after the events of the Frieza saga and stumbled onto what happened. 2). I believe Super Android 13 could have happened during the introduction period BEFORE Goku succumbs to the virus. If not, it could be directly after, before the second confrontation with the Z Warriors after Piccolo fused with Kami and Cell was beginning his absorption spree. After that, I believe Broly happened during the 10 day grace period, while both the second Cooler movie and Android 13 happened before. 3). In Wrath of the Dragon, despite how it can be really truly a stupid correlation when putting basic knowledge of the fact that the timelines are DIFFERENT and that this kid Trunks isn't the same one from the future, it puts a spotlight on the one thing I could draw from it; the origin in the OTHER timeline. Perhaps Tapion was released and sealed at some point during the events of the Future before Trunks goes back. What if Gohan, desperate for stronger warriors, released Tapion in the hopes of rallying someone new to help fend off the androids? That way, if Tapion was resealed most likely, he could have still met Trunks from the future and developed a relationship in THAT timeline. It could by that logic still work, just be really stretched and a pretty shitty detail to miss. I think this idea is a much better explanation of why they shoehorned the sword scene in. Because it COULD have happened, but not the same way and has no bearing in this timeline. Merely echoes what happened before. Loved the two-part series and I know this is an older video, but I grew up watching Dragonball as well. I love this shit so much and I love engaging when I feel like I should do so. Keep on (which I hope you still are from what I can tell) making awesome content!
Return of Cooler couldn’t have happened before the Androids because during the 10 days before the Cell Games, Goku uses instant transmission to go to the lookout to see if there was anyway to use the Dragon Balls so he could wish back all the people who had been killed by Cell and the Androids. Since Piccolo and Kami fused there was no longer a guardian of earth so Goku suggests going to New Namek to find a new one, however nobody on earth knows where it is which wouldn’t make sense if they had already been there to fight Metal Cooler.

With the whole Tapion giving Present Trunks his sword feels more like a symbolic gesture for Present Trunks to become a swordsman just like Tapion & Future Trunks. They call back to this with Trunks using the sword in dragon ball gt's opening credits, and dragon ball online when Present Trunks & Goten start the Kikoukenjutsu Sword School as adults. Shame Present Trunks hasn't used a sword more often in Super or GT.
Here's how I see it; most of these probably take place in alternate universes where the events played-out differently... Like take the Broly movie; it could - in theory - fit within the 10 day reprieve before the Cell Games. After all, Goku did intend for them to have at least three days of rest while waiting for the tournament. However, there are some major caveats; 1; that our heroes would be fine with leaving the Earth unprotected while they were gone, with Cell taken into consideration. 2; Goku and Gohan aren't in their mastered Super Saiyan forms. 3; the world doesn't seem to have been thrown into Panic by Cell's announcement; you'd think that people would have more important things to do than interviewing parents for their children's schooling if the world was gonna end. So something must've happened. I'm guessing what happened is, Trunks actually seized the opportunity to kill Semi-Perfect Cell before he got to 18 - or given the fact that 18 isn't present - maybe he _killed_ 18 to prevent Cell from absorbing her, and then was able to finish him off. Might explain why Vegeta is so angry and why Krillin is...coping. Let's also look at Fusion Reborn; what we know is, Goku and Vegeta both have to be dead and the boys have to know about Fusion - _and_ Goku has to have fought Maijin Buu at Super Saiyan 3...I'd say there's a perfect scenario where this fits in... Goku _Defeats_ Buu as a Super Saiyan 3 - he had the power to do it against Buu at that state. But the problem is, Goku was playing the long-game; he knew that using the Power would drain his time, so he rationed it just enough to give Trunks a chance to get the radar - so that he could then continue teaching the boys how to fuse. Here though, Goku decides to burn out his entire time-limit and manages to destroy Buu using his full power. The threat of Buu and Babidi is defeated, and Goku returns to otherworld. Now the boys have no need to fight as a Fused Warrior - however, because Goku had already begun teaching them, they continue to practice at it and master the technique themselves - probably with Piccolo's help. Wrath of the Dragon fits in nicely before the End of Z, however the fact that they try to tie it in with how Future Trunks gets his iconic sword, is a bit of a pickle. Here's how I see it - Let's hypothesize that Dr. Gero found the box and managed to somehow open it. (The man invented machines who were stronger than _Frieza;_ that's already _impossible,_ so why not at this point?) Tapion is freed but is plagued with unrest due to Hirudegarn - let's say that Hirudegarn causes most of the damage in the future, and _not_ Android 17 and 18 - heck, maybe the destruction the monster causes actually _inspires them_ to go further. Maybe sometime after losing Gohan, Trunks finds Tapion, the two bond, and Tapion could be like a surrogate mentor for Trunks. That is until Tapion can stand his burden no longer, and seals Hirudegarn within himself, and orders Trunks to kill him...And in the future, Trunks _does._
My theory for broly the second coming is that it happened before the martial arts tournament right after gohan trained goten and videl in learning how to fly as videl just cuts her hair short at this time. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is goten being aware of gokus voice. This shows to be right before the tournament because gohans still wearing his blue clothes. Let’s just assume that Goku spoke telepathically at some point allowing goten to know his voice without ever seeing him, as Goku did randomly mention telepathically that he would enter the tournament to gohan and vegeta when gohan was getting his costume upgrade
It would just be cool if someone for once, instead of debunking and mocking the movies which CLEARLY dont fit upfront, would try to explain how they could fit as many of them are what if or alternate scenarios.

I haven't seen Dead Zone in years, so maybe I missed a point where Goku called Gohan his son, but you could argue that Krillin thought Goku was just babysitting Gohan in that movie, hence why he asked about it when meeting Gohan at the beginning of DBZ.
I feel like a lot of the movies can happen in a separate timeline, like fusion reborn could happen if gohan was able to kill super buu or mr satan was able to prevent evil buu from emerging, this would explain why gohan is on earth, also I like the idea that vegeta loses his body in the dub version, idk it’s good closure for his character
Honestly I feel like turless and slug are meant to be like an alternative version of the canon where turtles replaces Vegeta and nappa and slug replaces Frieza and consider the end of the turles movie is identical to the beginnings of the slug movie I feel like ties the two movies together I also feel like it would make more sense to put cooler in the future trunks timeline consider in the return of cooler it would make sense for that to be the first time Vegeta transforms because In that timeline there never was a 19 and 20 to deal with nor any knowledge of the androids which explains why they take it easy and go on so many vacations cause they don't know about the android threat

Their absences don't mean anything, it's plausible, and I mentioned that Goten and Trunks may have just overlooked fusion. There is no time during Buu after the tournament for them to break away. Plus, Krillin is alive so it has to be after he got eaten

In regards to Trunks getting the sword, I think it's current timeline Trunks but with a different outcome due to the timeline shift. Similar to how current timeline gohan also loses his arm (not physically) but it's the other arm, he's younger, and it's against Cell not 17 & 18. Or Goku still getting the heart virus but surviving it or how the first two androids encountered are not 17 & 18 like Future Trunks' timeline but 19 & 20 and then 17 & 18. Things from the future timeline seem happen in the current but at different times with different scenarios or circumstances, assuredly due to Future Trunks' interference. We know that the timelines are not the same, which is why Trunks' future is not changed, but that could also mean the current timeline is different because of irregularities (there's no Future version of Trunk for Future Trunks, and 19 & 20 don't exist in his time either. Plus Gohan never reached Super saiyan with Goku in the HTC, he did it on his own). With all that being said, this is current timeline Trunks getting the sword as he would have (assumedly) but not by it being made by someone earth (I know it's not explained but I would argue that he had the sword made or was given it by someone from Earth before he went back to the past), and he doesn't need it for Frieza because he doesn't have that problem. It's just another overlap of the timelines that is changed a bit because of Future Trunks' tampering.
My personal headcanon is: Dead Zone before Raditz World’s Strongest, Tree of Might, Pprd Slug, and Cooler’s Revenge during the three year time skip Return of Cooler, Super Android 13, Broly, and Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans in the ten days before the cell games Bojack right after Cell Broly Second Coming right before World Martial Arts Tournament Bio Broly and Fusion Reborn right after Wrath of the Dragon after Buu Obviously there’s some inconsistencies but I chalk that up to it just being a different interpretation to help them flow better as a movie, while the actual events themselves did happen without those inconsistencies (no super saiyan during the ten day before cell games, Gohan being around in fusion reborn, etc) Also headcanon for why Shenron could be summoned in Fusion Reborn without affecting the wait time: the dimensional barrier damage caused by Janemba meant that the rules regarding the dragon balls were in flux, so they could get around the wait without affecting things during that time
Another issue with the second Broly movie I think you missed is that if it was after Gokus time ran out on Earth, then Gohan shouldn't be there since he was injured by Buu and then sent to the elder Kais planet. It couldn't have taken place after he returned to earth either because there was no time for that and Gohan never had his ultimate form.
I know it's late but that metal head in fusion reborn was funny enough listening to the parts of the Fusion reborn soundtrack (more specifically the fight song that plays during the fight between janemba and SSJ3 Goku)

I honestly wished the two Broly Movies were Canon in the timeline with an explainable reason, and Bojack Unbound seems totally okay since it doesn't really show to affect the timeline, same with the Wrath of the Dragon movie since it takes place during the pre-end of Dragon Ball Z of the Buu Saga and shows what happens when peace is restored back only to have a Mysterious Swordsman fighting some ugly bug Dragon that's kept away for a long time and the explanation of how GT Trunks got his sword
Trunks doesn't have a sword in GT. If you watch the credits of Wrath of the Dragon, it implies that future Trunks got his sword from Tapion, which makes no sense
3:33 there is explanation to trunks coming back which is that that is the trip on which cell killed trunks to go to the past but because trunks knew about cell he survived and was able to return (also it has to take place only like 2 months after cell because chichi does not look pregnant even though goten would be a fetus)

In Wrath of the Dragon, despite how it can be really truly a stupid correlation when putting basic knowledge of the fact that the timelines are DIFFERENT and that this kid Trunks isn't the same one from the future, it puts a spotlight on the one thing I could draw from it; the origin in the OTHER timeline. Perhaps Tapion was released and sealed at some point during the events of the Future before Trunks goes back. What if Gohan, desperate for stronger warriors, released Tapion in the hopes of rallying someone new to help fend off the androids? That way, if Tapion was resealed most likely, he could have still met Trunks from the future and developed a relationship in THAT timeline. It could by that logic still work, just be really stretched and a pretty shitty detail to miss. I think this idea is a much better explanation of why they shoehorned the sword scene in. Because it COULD have happened, but not the same way and has no bearing in this timeline. Merely echoes what happened before.

Return of Cooler couldn’t have happened before the Androids because during the 10 days before the Cell Games, Goku uses instant transmission to go to the lookout to see if there was anyway to use the Dragon Balls so he could wish back all the people who had been killed by Cell and the Androids. Since Piccolo and Kami fused there was no longer a guardian of earth so Goku suggests going to New Namek to find a new one, however nobody on earth knows where it is which wouldn’t make sense if they had already been there to fight Metal Cooler.

With the whole Tapion giving Present Trunks his sword feels more like a symbolic gesture for Present Trunks to become a swordsman just like Tapion & Future Trunks. They call back to this with Trunks using the sword in dragon ball gt's opening credits, and dragon ball online when Present Trunks & Goten start the Kikoukenjutsu Sword School as adults. Shame Present Trunks hasn't used a sword more often in Super or GT.

Here's how I see it; most of these probably take place in alternate universes where the events played-out differently...
Like take the Broly movie; it could - in theory - fit within the 10 day reprieve before the Cell Games. After all, Goku did intend for them to have at least three days of rest while waiting for the tournament. However, there are some major caveats; 1; that our heroes would be fine with leaving the Earth unprotected while they were gone, with Cell taken into consideration.
2; Goku and Gohan aren't in their mastered Super Saiyan forms.
3; the world doesn't seem to have been thrown into Panic by Cell's announcement; you'd think that people would have more important things to do than interviewing parents for their children's schooling if the world was gonna end.
So something must've happened. I'm guessing what happened is, Trunks actually seized the opportunity to kill Semi-Perfect Cell before he got to 18 - or given the fact that 18 isn't present - maybe he _killed_ 18 to prevent Cell from absorbing her, and then was able to finish him off. Might explain why Vegeta is so angry and why Krillin is...coping.
Let's also look at Fusion Reborn; what we know is, Goku and Vegeta both have to be dead and the boys have to know about Fusion - _and_ Goku has to have fought Maijin Buu at Super Saiyan 3...I'd say there's a perfect scenario where this fits in...
Goku _Defeats_ Buu as a Super Saiyan 3 - he had the power to do it against Buu at that state. But the problem is, Goku was playing the long-game; he knew that using the Power would drain his time, so he rationed it just enough to give Trunks a chance to get the radar - so that he could then continue teaching the boys how to fuse.
Here though, Goku decides to burn out his entire time-limit and manages to destroy Buu using his full power. The threat of Buu and Babidi is defeated, and Goku returns to otherworld. Now the boys have no need to fight as a Fused Warrior - however, because Goku had already begun teaching them, they continue to practice at it and master the technique themselves - probably with Piccolo's help.
Wrath of the Dragon fits in nicely before the End of Z, however the fact that they try to tie it in with how Future Trunks gets his iconic sword, is a bit of a pickle. Here's how I see it -
Let's hypothesize that Dr. Gero found the box and managed to somehow open it. (The man invented machines who were stronger than _Frieza;_ that's already _impossible,_ so why not at this point?)
Tapion is freed but is plagued with unrest due to Hirudegarn - let's say that Hirudegarn causes most of the damage in the future, and _not_ Android 17 and 18 - heck, maybe the destruction the monster causes actually _inspires them_ to go further.
Maybe sometime after losing Gohan, Trunks finds Tapion, the two bond, and Tapion could be like a surrogate mentor for Trunks. That is until Tapion can stand his burden no longer, and seals Hirudegarn within himself, and orders Trunks to kill him...And in the future, Trunks _does._
My theory for broly the second coming is that it happened before the martial arts tournament right after gohan trained goten and videl in learning how to fly as videl just cuts her hair short at this time. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is goten being aware of gokus voice. This shows to be right before the tournament because gohans still wearing his blue clothes. Let’s just assume that Goku spoke telepathically at some point allowing goten to know his voice without ever seeing him, as Goku did randomly mention telepathically that he would enter the tournament to gohan and vegeta when gohan was getting his costume upgrade
Trunks was also wearing his green hoodie, which he was wearing before the tournament I believe.

I feel like a lot of the movies can happen in a separate timeline, like fusion reborn could happen if gohan was able to kill super buu or mr satan was able to prevent evil buu from emerging, this would explain why gohan is on earth, also I like the idea that vegeta loses his body in the dub version, idk it’s good closure for his character

Honestly I feel like turless and slug are meant to be like an alternative version of the canon where turtles replaces Vegeta and nappa and slug replaces Frieza and consider the end of the turles movie is identical to the beginnings of the slug movie I feel like ties the two movies together I also feel like it would make more sense to put cooler in the future trunks timeline consider in the return of cooler it would make sense for that to be the first time Vegeta transforms because In that timeline there never was a 19 and 20 to deal with nor any knowledge of the androids which explains why they take it easy and go on so many vacations cause they don't know about the android threat

Their absences don't mean anything, it's plausible, and I mentioned that Goten and Trunks may have just overlooked fusion. There is no time during Buu after the tournament for them to break away. Plus, Krillin is alive so it has to be after he got eaten

In regards to Trunks getting the sword, I think it's current timeline Trunks but with a different outcome due to the timeline shift. Similar to how current timeline gohan also loses his arm (not physically) but it's the other arm, he's younger, and it's against Cell not 17 & 18. Or Goku still getting the heart virus but surviving it or how the first two androids encountered are not 17 & 18 like Future Trunks' timeline but 19 & 20 and then 17 & 18. Things from the future timeline seem happen in the current but at different times with different scenarios or circumstances, assuredly due to Future Trunks' interference. We know that the timelines are not the same, which is why Trunks' future is not changed, but that could also mean the current timeline is different because of irregularities (there's no Future version of Trunk for Future Trunks, and 19 & 20 don't exist in his time either. Plus Gohan never reached Super saiyan with Goku in the HTC, he did it on his own). With all that being said, this is current timeline Trunks getting the sword as he would have (assumedly) but not by it being made by someone earth (I know it's not explained but I would argue that he had the sword made or was given it by someone from Earth before he went back to the past), and he doesn't need it for Frieza because he doesn't have that problem. It's just another overlap of the timelines that is changed a bit because of Future Trunks' tampering.

Obviously there’s some inconsistencies but I chalk that up to it just being a different interpretation to help them flow better as a movie, while the actual events themselves did happen without those inconsistencies (no super saiyan during the ten day before cell games, Gohan being around in fusion reborn, etc)
Also headcanon for why Shenron could be summoned in Fusion Reborn without affecting the wait time: the dimensional barrier damage caused by Janemba meant that the rules regarding the dragon balls were in flux, so they could get around the wait without affecting things during that time

Another issue with the second Broly movie I think you missed is that if it was after Gokus time ran out on Earth, then Gohan shouldn't be there since he was injured by Buu and then sent to the elder Kais planet. It couldn't have taken place after he returned to earth either because there was no time for that and Gohan never had his ultimate form.

Trunks doesn't have a sword in GT. If you watch the credits of Wrath of the Dragon, it implies that future Trunks got his sword from Tapion, which makes no sense

Coolers return - a few days before the androids 19 and 20 appear. If you ignore dende as the guardian of earth during the time the movie takes place, it fits well there
Super android 13 - after they lose their first fight against 17 and 18 and goku was healed. Before cell appears.
Legendary super saiyan broly - during the ten days gap between the cell games after training in the room of spirit and time
