I'd like to see you cap all of the bad water sources, then terraform around them to reclaim the land. Also create an aqueduct system so that you can funnel the bad water off the map during a bad tide and keep the big pools of water completely clean.
Sounds like some sensible ideas. I was also thinking of using the metal platforms to be able to build over the badwater sources
Great thing about timberborn is how many different ways you can approach things. This was fun to watch! Getting sustainable metal is going to be quite the challenge
Yes, starting episode 2 and metal is already making me work and think. Luckily beaver can swim as long as they have paths to follow :)
Great start D/S i think you’re going in the right direction, with making more farm land then land reclamation into the bad water areas, to reduce the affect on the land and sorting,out the bad water when the bad tides start easy to say but, I have faith in the way you over come problems, and great content as always 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Think you have chosen a great map for this series mate, id leave it on normal as its not so much about the survival its about progress and those mega builds. I think as you say, dirt excavation early on and get that water sourced under control. I do like the way you have it running now so it is not causing problems.
It is definitely going to be an interesting one to transform, I don't really have an idea in my head yet for the end result. I also have to remember that those short draughts and bad tides give me the flexibility to build crazy stuff, not battle survival :)

Im thinking a mega plan for the map would be to make the center pool have housing on top like a real beaver lodge where its in the middle of the deep water sections of their ponds. Surrounded by a mote like bever castle!
As far as the rest i reckon each crater should they a different job. Such as one filled in for farming, with organised canals for water cris-crossing it, one for wet plants so one deep with farmhouses on stilts in the middle, one for forests with a river of water zig zagging through it and small hills making a valley as it goes and so on, one above the bad water with platforms covering it in every way and turned into canals below for power (platforms above for industry to go on)
And have a leisure one. Of hot springs and beavles concerts (yes i know thats not your channel but could make a great colab!!!
I'm definitely going to be making use of some of these ideas :) Will transform how things look and is a break from the repetition of what I had planned
