I love Hejira. Probably my favourite of hers. The Pastorius bass lines just pull me in and the lyrics are a great mix of emotion and imagery. Yes, Blue and Court and Spark are genius, too. Joni is perhaps the single performer that I rate most highly. It seems amazing to me that she isn’t rated more highly than she is. She’s like a one woman renaissance.
