One thing I love about the C stock... they scream like they are going 100mph but actually barely hitting 40 😂
Exactly this😂 (I know I’m replying to a 3 year old comment, but you’ve described the Motors perfectly haha)
Great video! I'm from Sweden, and I love trains. My favorite trains in London is: C69/C77, A60/A62, D78, 1972TS, 1967TS, 1973TS and 1996TS.
Very well filmed these aspects of passenger train transport on this beautiful route!

Train Annoucements by: Sarah Parnell & Emma Clarke for Blackfriars
I like when way Sarah Parnell says "Please mind the gap between the train and the platform" Sarah does sound better on the C stock
At Embankment the anti-clockwise platform does go into the tunnel as the station is curved. As the C69/77 stock is getting replaced by the S7 stock TfL is preserving the C08 (replacement cars for the trains involved in 7/7) this is noted in the 11th Edition of London Underground by John Glover
I visited London in Aug '12 and stayed in Paddington and rode this very same train.
As a Hong Konger i found the C stocks familiar since they sounded and looked pretty similiar to the M-Trains on the MTR network. Presumably the London Underground trains in the 1970s-80s were the predecessors to the M-Trains, hence they were built by Metro-Cammell as well.
Great journey.
40:20 Get a room lol!
Seriously though, enjoying this video although listening mainly as a soundtrack whilst I'm doing some work, I do miss those screaming motors :(
you jealous?
I was directed to this video from one of a full clockwise loop around the M25 Motorway.
great job mate i love the c69/77 engine sound!!!
Because at the Edgware Road station Does she have access not only to the district line, but also to the same line?
Yeah
Great for insomniacs - tunnel walls and reflections of people. Wake me up at Hammersmith!
Makes me want to play 'London Underground Simulator"!
u mean world of subways?
Excellent
I must of used HD Writer and Converted it on Cyberberlink 10 but no worries Im going do a new full Journey on Sunday
I miss the C stock!
Me too I love the announcements
Same
Me too, I promise myself I will try and bring it back
What's the difference bwteen C69 and C77 stock?
Does anyone know when the on-board announcements first started?
Andy JS right at the start m8
Just wait a few mins
@@Mullac Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. My fault. I meant which year did they start the announcements? Because I know that until the 1990s they definitely didn't have onboard announcements, apart from "mind the gap" at some stations.
Andy JS oh ok
i love Sarah Parnell annoucements at C stock more than S stock
Sarah Parnell sounds much better on the C stock than herself on the S stock
Somehow you can tell that's a C69 by the way the motor sounds. It has a little difference from the C77. Great vid :D
i will miss the c stock train.
what is the difference between a c69 stock and a c77 stock?
After refurbishment it was not easy to tell which was c69 & c77 stock. When they were unrefurbished we could identify c69 stocks by their black roofs & c77 stocks by their white/unpainted roofs
C77 stock was for District Line(edgware road branch) C69 Stock was for Circle and Hammersmith and city lines
Is the circle line getting new trains
I LOVE TRAINS!!!!!!!!!
Good video
I miss C stock trains
when was paddington and bayswater
Last Day of Waterloo & City Line 1992 Tube Stock for Life.
June Andrew Belleza no
That's wicked
YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWESOME!!!! :)
Yes!
54:24 “The next station is Hammersmith, District and Piccadilly lines operate from a different station, across the road. All change please!”
Do you prefer the C or the S stock ?
Rashi Khullar I prefer C stock over S stock
Rashi Khullar c obviously.
S
S
Every train that was seen on the journey
C Stock 00:01
C Stock 00:33
C Stock 02:56
C Stock 04:50
D Stock 10:22
D Stock 12:10
C Stock 13:06
was that a overrun at embankment?
No. Embankment is a staggered platform
why are there 2 Paddington stations?
Paddington is one station however the Hammersmith and city line and circle line towards Hammersmith share the main line station with gwr and crossrail and the district, baker loo and circle line via victoria are in a different building
Londoner 427 and that’s for crowd control?
It’s because when the tube first went via Paddington it went via the main terminus to Hammersmith and when it went to South Kensington it was built on another side of the station
X2K9, good video I really like it .F
Why circle lines follow the H&C line trains to Hammersmith after Calling Edgware Rd's outer platform
So there are more services running on the hammersmith branch
Because its going to the stations where its shared with the h and c line
Is the circle line slow like the district line?
naazimahmed92 yup
C Stock for Life.
C STOCK FOR LIFE.
All of the trains are getting new trains
Very good. Suggest you cut it down
hey, you should do a clockwise one !!!!!!!!!!!!! we are missing a lot of stations like tower hill and kingsx by not doing a clockwise one, pretty pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
What do you mean? There is Tower Hill and King's Cross in this video.
I thought that was a fire or something between 0:15 and 41:37 LOL
Make a full journey from hammersmith to edgware road via liverpool street
old C stock is not in 3 lines
The C stock did operate on 3 Lines , Circle , Hammersmith and City , and the District Line (Edgware Road Branch)
+Emmire Vargas They also did a tad bit of running on the Met near Amersham
Can you do the circle line from Hammersmith to Edgware Road?
Yes

C-STOCK FTW!
you can smoke in the open air stations not the deep tube ones
@X2K9 where do you live
Did you see Westminster? It looks like Westfield!
no it wasn't - if you look at the reflection you could still see the station walls very clearly indeed..thus it wasn't an overrun
12:57
looked like he overshot the platform lol 17:01
the westbound platform was slightly longer than the eastbound
No, that's just how far out the westbound platform goes at Embankment.
20:26-20:28 The Circle Line suddenly did the voice of District Line. Lol.
Her name is Emma Clarke
C Stock is the way better than no Good/annoying s stock
S stock best XD
Wow just wow
20:26
19:45 Voice Change
***** actually it's not. it's a completely different woman, emma clarke who did the announcements before (it's the original announcement)
#JusticeForMetropolitanLine
So do I
This train look like c751a
Your not even supposed to smoke in any tube level.
ok ok
This is a Circle Line to Monument
I like Sarah Parnell and Emma Clarke announcements. Shame Emma Clarke got sacked and Sarah Parnell had a lazy voice on the central line
I know right. At Bank and at Notting Hill gate the announcements on the central line sound so revoltingly cringe.
I love south west trains better
All of them
Circle Line Train Paddington And Baker Street.
