So, once again, pardon me, please, as my original intention is to make aikidoka easier in watching again aikido in the Riyadh 2023 World Combat Games (especially the videos are gone now) & I'm not part of either participant or host & also not attending the event.

Probably one of the most if not the most traditiomal BUDO orientated Japanese teachers was O'Sensei who saw that there needed to be a way to lead violence to peace. Aikido derived from Battlefield Ju Jitsu and weapons work. Sword, spear, tanto (knife). Aikido was formed around these things without competition o feudal army orientated conflict. Aikido is an amazing embodiement of control and harmony embued with respect, high behaviour. Aikido was designed to flow and not conflict. It can also maim and kill. It's purpose is to lead the human away from conflict and struggle, not into it
