Astro, Jett Jeff and Quisi represent the younger generation who's on the come up. Overall, it was great B-A-L-A-N-C-E of talent to show what successful Black Gay Men look like vs the younger generation who are making their dreams happen!

Love Shawn down from a personality and entertainment perspective but no blog all season is a chop for me.(And still to this day?) I feel like chasing reality suffers every time someone is casted to use the platform as an oppurtunity to find a chase as opposed to someone whose already got things going on. There's plenty of black queer folk who can fight and aruge and read people down, but not many who can do that and are working on something to show. Congrats to Astro, Quisi, Jett Jeff and Teddlie for shocasing their work/chase this season.
But keep in mind, the show is called “Chasing” Reality. Shawn is on his Chase and that’s what the show is all about. Everyone is at different points in their chase. And I believe it’s encouraging, motivating, and important for viewers to see the different stages. No one starts at the top. He’ll get there and when the blog drops and he’s ready, support him. Can’t knock the grind or hustle. And let’s not forget he has a successful career outside of the blog. Let’s not be so critical.
