15:30 The guy that knocks them out pulls up his pants and checks his belt - This is one of the most universal pre-attack indicators there is, pay attention to that. They genuinely did fail the quick time event, the belt thing is always a massive tell.
@@lgbtthefeministgamer4039 I've seen a lot of videos of people getting knocked out, people ALWAYS do the belt thing.because they don't want their pants to come off when they're fighting. @@valorz6064 This attitude is exactly why he harasses them. Your attitude, not theirs. Japanese people aren't babies because they don't immediately turn to violence. If you understood the culture at all you'd know that to Japanese sensibilities ignoring him and shunning him is the mature reaction. No matter what your culture is, though, you're only human and there comes a time when you'll snap back like the lady in the video. It says just how unbelievably inappropriate he is acting that he _is_ getting hit, smacked, and knocked out. Also, the video itself said they're trying to deport him. They already are dealing with him. While I think violence is a perfectly acceptable response to his behavior, it doesn't make someone weak or immature or 'babies' to refuse to resort to violence. It isn't as if this man is himself being physically violent, after all. That said, if it's true the Yakuza didn't just knock on his door the one time and are actually actively tailing him now, this foolish impression that Japanese are weak babies who won't stand up for themselves very well may get him killed, and I don't mean that in some kind of bravado, internet tough guy way. They are nowhere near the presence they once were, but that does not mean if you _somehow_ manage to become an enemy of theirs that they aren't capable of discreetly deporting you in a much more permanent fashion. He needs to accept the graciousness he's been shown and leave Japan for good while he still can, because the alternatives for him are increasingly unpleasant.
The problem with not ignoring them is they get attention and keep escalating. Either they get banned for behavior and lose their income, or law enforcement needs to deal with this dude and he loses his income. Unitl his behavior costs him money this will continue.
A lot of people make it to adulthood without ever getting struck by another human. Some take this as a reason to feel invincible until they get knocked out on TH-cam in front of millions.
Even here in 松山 where I am, we heard about this guy and were told to keep an eye out for him. NHK never aired his behavior, but other outlets here did. The fact that it reached here really meant it was bad. But since 松山 is an extremely conservative and a quiet town, he would probably get away with it if he didn't run into someone like me that actually fights and is not afraid. Where I live is very sleepy, and a much more elderly based town. The most egregious thing was that his first stunt on the train was kind of close to the anniversary of the 広島, 長崎 dropping of the bombs. Thank you Mr.Asmongold for bringing light of this. Most of Japan is well aware too. Good night everyone!
When I went to Europe recently, I was harassed by a couple from France and people from Australia who were discriminatory against Japanese people. I also received discriminatory remarks from staff at the Swiss train station and hotel. No one was there to help them, but they were saying it out loud in public, so smart people knew that something was wrong with them, and they probably came from America. It seems that these people have changed their destinations and have given up on visiting the countries where the people they were harassing came from. I feel frustrated and disappointed that there are people like this everywhere. I would like to know what to do in such a situation! is.

I am an American living in Japan. And non Japanese content creators like Johnny Somali (and Logan Paul before him) give a really negative opinion of anyone non Japanese. Because Japan is a single culture country, it is difficult for them to accept outsiders into their culture. What I mean by that is that they don't see foreigners as anything but tourists. And this makes it hard for someone like me who has been living here for 7 years and is married to a Japanese woman and wants to have children here to be fully accepted here. Before summer vacation, I had so many coworkers asking if I was going home for summer. I was thinking to myself "this is my home. What are you talking about?" And those coworkers know completely what my situation is like, but yet they still think that my home is America. If foreigners living in Japan will ever get fully accepted into the culture, I think we need to have a public image as people who respect Japan. As of now, having clowns like this ruins that.
@@AYVYN that's true but not exactly. A while back the Japanese government made it a requirement to have English taught in schools. And native English speakers should teach, even if with a Japanese teacher of English. But there were so many cases of the native English speaker leaving without giving notice or some other negative thing. After a while, I guess it just became a default expectation. Just like that saying, one bad apple ruins the bunch. As for my wife, I'd say I got lucky. Her family, especially her father, is pretty welcoming and I'd say that's in part because of being in contact with foreigners for work or traveling to the US for a business trip. But I know a couple other foreigners around me who aren't as lucky.
@@pyrosupreme4473 perhaps. But I always say that I have no reason to go back because anyone I want to see already plan to come here especially now that the COVID restrictions are gone.
I’ve been out here 12. Wife, 2 children, homeowner. In general, Japanese people tend to be quite family-oriented, so I think the questions of you going back home were based in their understanding that you may have someone to go back to. Also, the fact of the matter is that many foreigners do go back for the summer. In my workplace, I was the only one who didn’t. You may get asked if you ever plan to return to your home country, and that is also a legitimate question because as you start to build a family and a future for them, you actually have options. You can, as a father, decide that the opportunities you could provide to your family in your home country would be greater than the ones you could provide them in Japan. It happens all the time. The country is built for Japanese people, no doubt. However, I’d be careful not to paint these interactions the wrong way in your own mind. If you’re 7 years in, there’s gonna be a marked difference in the way you act here vs. the way a tourist acts. Little mannerisms, subtle cues, reacting to things in a very nuanced way, the fact that you are able to catch the nuances at all. The Japanese people notice. They may still be a little socially awkward around you at first but… Speaking for myself, I honestly doubt anyone sees me as a visitor here these days. In fact, tourists here sometimes approach me and ask for help. Even they can tell I’m not a visitor. You’re fine, dude. The fact is that so many more of us eventually leave than actually stay and plant roots.

Oh, he went to another person and bothered them instead? They should knock him out too, then he couldn't bother them either.
Yep.
"If you ignore bad actors they just keep acting bad."
The paradox of tolerating intolerance.
Maybe they're confused and think you have family back in the US that you want to visit?
You wouldn’t have a job or a wife if they didn’t accept you.

It will go on and on and they will potentially ruin lives of others. Pain changes a person. When someone gets cheated on, they trust different or not at all. When someone is physically beaten they go through a psychological battle that's far worse than the bruises or contusions. So it's your duty to immediately act..if you don't act then you are responsible for other people getting hurt because you did nothing to stop what was happening and give a consequence when you could and knew it was warranted and NEEDED. there is street photography and other cases of people being recorded without their consent and it has existed since the creation of photography. Don't forget vlogging has been around there for a while as well
I wish it would've illegal for you people to eat. I just feel feelings and thangs.
tbf the majority of IRL streamers who walk in public are super respectful to people. Watch the video of the Savior Streamer of Japan. He helps so many people out who get creeped on by foreigners.
Irl streams are fine if you do it at a place where people are fine being filmed or just hanging around with friends.
what a hero, sooooo deserved. this dude has been begging for it for a while.
joking about 9/11 as an american is different than a guy from afghanistan (or saudi arabia, frick you bush) coming to the us as a tourist and saying hes going to do 9/11 again.
I like how the 2 guys were discussing about it, it's like the punching one said: ''yeah I think i'm going for it'' and his friend was like ''noo you're sure bro? I mean, they are reaching for it'' and then he was like ''alright I made up my mind''
The first punch of the video was definitely fake , nobody punches u in the face randomly if ur dancing like a fool unless u start to harass them , the first video clip was a harmless prank
I know the guy who did the smacking and I can tell you he isn't happy about the decision he made in that moment. However, I think those guys had it coming and someone had to do it eventually. In other words, he might not be happy about what he did, but I think most of us are.
No, eff that, tell him it was the right call. If he starts a gofundme for legal help, be sure to publish it in the comments.
I want to donate money to him
He did the morally correct decision. If it's money he needs to get out of the arrest then I'm sure people would 100% help him with that.
Hope the police turned a blind eye and didn't give the guy a visit. I think that guy deserves honorary Japanese citizenship for his good deed of kO'ing those 2 racists aholes.
Let him know we appreciate his effort of taking the trash off the street and how much of a respectable guy he is in our eyes.
You can tell at 15:36 the guy was getting ready to take care of it.
And he got slapped only twice? The patience on those japanese ppl is amazing.
I like how Asom turned a 3 minute clip into 26 minutes of content
If this guy wasn't on camera he would disappear
one of the most satisfying smackdowns i've ever seen
Feel so bad for japan
Weakness invites attack
@@troycambo Higher threshold for violence is not "weakness". That was just a stupid take.
@@mixuaquela123No the government IS weak on lower tier crimes committed by foreigners. The people are not weak. Give them a free go, Somali would be a corpse in 3 days.
dIVERsiTY was a MIsTAke
Glad Japan didn't open their border for refuge or monke
@bendover7841 Its better to call him Johnny rather than somali if you are only saying half the name.
He isn't even somali and know the whole internet thinks somalis are bad tourists.
Very sad this jerk not only caused trouble in other countries, but also is getting the blame shifted towards a group that had nothing to do with it.
Funny thing is I just looked the guy up and here in Europe he’s requested to have all his search results tied to his name wiped away. He’s such a coward that he won’t even own up to the fact he did this sh*t.
Media would have called it a racist hate crime if it happened here. Kudos Japan for not having that cultural mindset
I saw him at Kiyamachi here in Kyoto, small tiny man.
And that face…
Idk how I would be able to resist knocking him out, you must have nerves of steel.
Twitter video of both of them getting knocked out by a buff white dude. People of Japan is too nice to fight them, a foreigner took it up himself to achive legend status in Japan for knocking them out.
Im japanese and what you said make me feel so happy , become 1 of my favorite streamer !!
Man bun puncher should be awarded highest accomodation in the country--medal of freedom, something like that, for combating this dumbassery....
@10:07 is the guy on the right Air Force? That beanie says Yokota AirBase right? or am i trippn?
I think flat out violence shouldn't be encouraged of course...
But damn, they were flat out asking for it and they sure got it. Dude got a mean right hook.
he flat out got a flat out right hook, flatted him out on the flat out pavement.
mad flat out bussed literally gives on god i love it rn XD
They know what they do is wrong. We just can't legally punish them. So we have to illegally do it. Which I have done SEVERAL times and never regretted it once. My pops told me something when I was young. A lesson I'll never forget.. If you let someone hurt you or anyone else maliciously in any type of way whether it be physically, spiritually, or emotionally and nothing is done about it then they will hurt the next person they feel like hurting. Pain changes people. And some people need pain to change for the BETTER because they use pain to change others for the worse.
@@Myhaay yep, the concrete might have given them a concussion on top of getting punched. If they piss off enough people to get punched again and again, who knows what kind of brain damage they'll get from the punches and the concrete.
The only thing that would've made that second clip better is Chris Tucker running in out of nowhere to tell him that he got knocked the fuck out.
Glad you enjoyed the vid bossman, and thank you for tagging me 🤞🏾! Heavily agree that the government needs to throw his ass in Jain and THEN deport him. Hopefully they get on that soon fr

Knocked out by 2 random Swedish Dudes in Osaka.
Stort grattis till dom.
I live in Puerto Rico and 2 american tourist started filming in a location full of gangs and drug dealers. They got warned to shut that shit off and he started mouthing off. They beat the shit out of them. One ran away. The other disappeared and the next day his charred body showed up about 45 miles away in an abandoned field.
Wait Puerto rico are not Americans

Lol when I saw the Guy preparing himself to punch the moron I just smiled like ”haha the Guy is preparing and all.. ah.. beautiful”
16:20 bro the mario sound lol😂😂😂😂😂😂
That guy boiling up, you can see him before the punches getting mentally ready
If he tried this in Australia he wind up beaten to death really really quick
The patience of the Japanese people is amazing
are you serious? where in Aus do you live? so much of the country has gone soft enough that they wouldn't even try the police until well after the fact now.
Patience ..or weakness?
@@TGPDrunknHick Idk we still got a shit ton of red hot units who are gonna throw hands, we have lebos with warrants out openly streaming on fb and taunting the police like come get me, alot of us just dont give a fuck.
@@troycambo Patience.
Love how everyone claped in the 2nd punchout video
throwing that punch was reasonably self defense on that girls behalf
imagine being a japanese and having to see gaijin gorilla roam wild
The hell with " I don't condone violence".
