    one of the uses for attaching walls to top/base is if you want your wall to cover an irregular shaped exterior, walls will be attached regardless the top/bottom entity is flat or angled. Best example for this is on gabled exterior walls, where you would like your gable to be covered. This is achieved by your wall attaching to the angles of the roof.

      Yes that is correct! I end up doing this for roofs all the time like you said.

    Great easy to understand info and at a non rushed pace. I like that you loiter around and take your time on the important things so I don’t have to keep going back to check. Maybe just slightly slower on some of those ribbon clicks would help more

    Great as always, but I'm waiting for something about the shared parameter as you mentioned in previous videos and more detailed things about families. Can we hope for that soon?
    A quality series about families would be a complete hit, but that is just my opinion and hope... 😄

      Ahh that probably is a good idea! A creating families playlist sounds like a winner!

    hi, do you know how to make triangle curved wall. the triangle shape is from the top view

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The triangle part is tricky! You will have to update the wall profile after you add the angle!

    Is it possible to have wall thickness as a instance parameter ?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is unfortunately not as all the thicknesses and layers of a wall are baked into the type. You could some kind of a sweep or other category of model that would allow you to put instance parameters in to change a wall's thickness.
