Hell yea those do look good. It almost looks like when fully mounted you could have them on top but maybe the video is deceiving? I’ve read that some thread locker has super glue like properties so you usually want to avoid it with nylock nuts. Looking good Heather!

Great video, as always. Did you also install a rocker switch for these lights?

Hi DK. In this case, we did not. The lights are hooked directly into the CAN Bus system so no need to add more buttons. You configure the lights with your laptop and then when you press turn signal cancel for 3 seconds, they turn on and off. If you engage high beam, they go 100% power and the upper lights will turn off when you engage turn signals so people can see those instead of lights. It all integrates really well.

@@AdamChandler86 Very cool. Thanks for the low-down. I'm relying on your channel a lot for my 2021 F850GS Adv upgrades.

@adam, did you notice more battery drainage while using the hex ezcan ?

At this point, no. CanBUS Pretty much shuts everything down when the bike is off. I don't think there's any drain at all going this method.

I am wondering how long these ones are going to last on the bike in rough terrain. Will this kit survive after bike drops?

Good question. This particular bike is road-only so I can't say.
